  1. Caddy has been coming around of late, averaging 95yds/game over the Bucs last 3 contests. They are going up against a NYG D that has allowed 4.1yds/carry this year which is 20th in the league. Chester Taylor had a great game last week against a tough SEA D, but 95 of his 167 yds came on 1 carry. They are playing at home against the Pats in Primetime on Monday night. The Vikes have a great OLine, but they don't really have a good passing game.
  2. I don't think you're nuts. I think those are Vince Young's nuts. Don't let your intense man love for VY to spill over into the FF field. I would probably start Plummer because McNair is coming off a concussion and the Broncs may have to pass a lot if they fall behind against the Colts. I wouldn't count on it though, but out of those 3, I think Plummer has the best chance to accomplish decent things for you this week.
  3. I benched Donald Driver for Reggie WIlliams against HOU. Reggie proceded to produce 0 points for me and Driver posted 15. I lost by 13 points
  4. Pre-emptive excessive drinking: does this mean you drink as soon as you wake up?
  5. There is only one thing that will solve all your problems: get drunk, and pass out until next year when a) you'll probably not have a g/f to screw up your plans and b) the Bills may have an OLine by then. If this doesn't work, repeat as necessary.
  6. Kevin Jones. The Dolfags were able to run (Ronnie Brown 1st 100 yd day all year) even when they fell behind in the game. Kevin Jones should fair just as well. ALso, I would start Lee Evans over Randy Moss all day, no matter what the opponent. Lee is starting to establish himself as a premiere go to guy in this league, and the last 4 weeks have proven that. And the other league, McGahee, not just becuase I am a homer, but I think he will have success against the Pats run D much like he did in week 1, but they need him to get into the EZ.
  7. We are talking about a 2 year old being questioned by police. It is hard to determine what is truth and what is fiction when dealing with a witness of this age. I think the guy over-reacted, but I don't have any kids I'm sure they did more than just question her to determine what happened. And I don't buy the "you don't have kids so you don't understand" cop-out. You don't go and kill someone without proof. Even with proof, it's questionable. As an aside, why is it so hard for people to make useful thread titles? 811022[/snapback] What else are you going to do to a 2 year old. They probably made her draw pictures of what happened. I've seen the process of how sensitive authorities are when dealing with a victim of such a young age. There have been instances where authorities almost make a child believe there was some kind of altercation. I also don't justify the accusations of a two year as a reason for murder. I said the guy overreacted. Plain and simple. If you take the law into your own hands, you open yourself up to the same criminal system that could have provided this guy with justice. And if you ask anyone on this board if something like this happened to thier children, how they would react. If they had the opportunity to inflict bodily harm on the person who did inappropriately touch their child, I'm sure they would. That is why things are different if you do have a child. I don't so I can't accurately say.
  8. I love TBS Tell All Your Friends. Def an album that every song is sing along good. Their albums after that are pop-emo and I think they blow. They especially started to blow once they were endorsed by Mountain Dew. Another band I really like is The Blood Brothers. They are definitely not for everyone, but they are talented as hell. Their last two albums Burn Piano Island Burn and Crimes are very eclectic. Each song has a different sound and each one is very loud and mellodic. Dillinger Escape Plan are f'ing incredible. Complete unification of the senses. They are on another planet in the world of metal.
  9. I believe that children are the future. Teach them well and let them lead the way. SHow them all the beauty they possess inside...
  10. We are talking about a 2 year old being questioned by police. It is hard to determine what is truth and what is fiction when dealing with a witness of this age. I think the guy over-reacted, but I don't have any kids. Hence, I would not know how I would react if my child told me something like this.
  11. I would pick a QB up if I were you. It is dirty, but all is fair in love, war, and fantasy football
  12. I totally agree with you on this one. Conceptual album about a friend of their's who committed suicide, not before being in a coma. The album is about the dreams he endures while he is in a coma, and ultimately ends with his suicide. A truly haunting album with crazy musicianship. Led Zeppelin meets Santana, meets Punk Rock meets conceptualization of Pink Floyd. I really enjoy The Mars Volta's previous group, At The Drive-In and their last album, Relationship of Command, is produced by Rick Rubin. Rubin really captures the intensity of ATDI, and I was sorely upset that they disbanded. Another favorite group is Thee Siver Mt. Zion and the Tra-La-La Band. Their album "This Is Our Punk Rock" is one of the most amazing listening experiences I've ever had. They are part of the Godspeed You Black Emperor outfit, who also have some great albums worth listening to. I also love Muse's album Absolution. It is what Radiohead (whom I also love)would be if they didn't get electronic after their album The Bends. And my final favorite album, might have to be Pink Floyd's Animals. You never hear anyone talking about this album, but it is their best one IMO. I remember the first time I listened to it, I was tripping on mushrooms in college, and I heard the song Dogs, and fell in love with David Gilmore's guitar.
  13. Jax and it really is a no brainer.
  14. Living in NYC and working in the news/entertainment industry, I've been told that it was drug related. When I say drug related, I don't mean in a small satchel of smoke kind of way. Large quantities of the recreational Columbian exported narcotic were said to be the reason behind this shooting. Weather or not you hear that that was the reason behind this, is a completely different story.
  15. I think it is a Sprint commercial, and someone already created a thread about it. Here is the link.
  16. One of the guys in my league started Grossman last night and was up by 6 points before the game started with his opponent not haveing anyone playing. Grossman posted a -7 and this guy lost by a point. He posted a -7 because he recieved negative rushing yards for kneeling the ball down to end the game. That is the worst loss I have ever seen. Another guy in my league scored 127 points and still lost to a guy who scored 140. Overall, it was a crazy week in the FF world.
  17. Have you noticed that his longest catch is only 27 yards? Can we line this guy up in the slot and target him over the middle?
  18. Levy's Era II did say the proof was in the pudding. I love tapioca too.
  19. Can you say "MILF"
  20. Those stats are looking pretty good and it looks like the 3 year rule for WR development is ringing true. He's on pace to catch over 90 balls and record over 1100 yards. If Lee would just run a 3-4 yard route on 3rd and 3 instead of running a 2 yard route, I'd be a little happier
  21. I don't like Grossman at all. He should have thrown a few interceptions last week and I think it i retarded if you expect him to be a solid FF QB for you. Figures I'm 5-1 and my only loss came with my opponent starting Grossman.
  22. Put up the most points (193) this week in the history of our league (8 years). Bulger LT2 Ronnie Brown Holt Roy Williams Colston Miller Chargers Carney I beat my opponent by 123 points
  23. Are you talking about Roger Clemens ?
  24. RB: Ronnie Brown @ NYJ Caddy Williams @ CIN 1 WR of the following: Roy Williams (Listed as Probable) BUF Marques Colston PHI Antonio Bryant SD
