  1. Let me start out by saying that I am not a horrible whistle-blowing individual who would do something like this with malice and forethought. I work in the news business as a videographer for a small, non-unionized, individually owned political station. This past Tuesday, Election Day, was the biggest day of the year for us and we reported live at the Sheraton in NYC for the large Democratic soire with Spitzer, Hillary, and Cuomo with all media, local, national, and international. Needless to say, the place is a mob scene with media outlets set up on a 50 foot long multi-level riser on a 3' x 6' rectangle for all your equipment necessary to broadcast live remotely. We (myself and an engineer more adept at this than myself) began setting up at 11am. After we finished setting up, the other engineer (who is my superior) had to leave to go set up other crews reporting live up in Westchester County, not before informing other members of our NYC crew (5 people including myself) to help me break down everything when the night was over because it is a lot of f'ing work for one person. After all was said and done, it was 1am and time to break down. Everybody bolted saying that it wasn't their job because they aren't in production, but more in the editorial department. I told them they were ignoring orders from superiors, but still, they steadfastly refuse to assist in the breakdown of the live set. One of them, even had the audacity to start drinking at the festivities while I was left to break down everything by myself and loading my car in the pouring rain. I ended up leaving at 4 am and got home at 4:30am. Needless to say, I was pissed. I was beyond pissed. I was enfuriated. The next day I had to return a bunch of equipment back up to White Plains. The first question my head engineer asked was "how was the breakdown and did everyone help you?". I told him what happened and he went right up to the Human Resources director and told her what happened. She immediately called the person who was drinking at the party the night before (I didn't tell her he was drinking) and she told him to clean out his desk because he no longer had a job. Sorry for the long post, but would you guys feel somewhat upset if you were kinda responsible for the termination of an employee who you considered a friend? I covered for this guy on numerous occasions and I told him that I was never covering for him again as a result of his lack of assistance when I needed it the most.
  2. Henderson is a decent option and he performed admirably against TB with Joe Horn sidelined. If Joe Horn doesn't play again this week, he would be a nice option. You could also look to the waiver wire and look at Toomer's replacement, Jonathan Carter, or the G-Men's 2nd round pick, Sinorice Moss. Plexiglass may be in some pain this week: he missed practice again yesterday with back spasms so those two may be viable options.
  3. Run the ball. Milk the clock with long drives and lots of plays to keep Indy's O off the field. If we don't score, utilize Moorman to pin them deep in their territory. That is about all you can do.
  4. She is actually a lot cuter in person. She has come into my studio in NYC for an interview.
  5. 27--the problem isn't JP, but the supporting cast that the Bills brass has put around him.
  6. On the TD pass to Evans, he recieved a little pressure only after he stepped up into the pocket and he got drilled after he made the throw, which resulted in the throw being slightly underthrown. Overall, they did well on the left side. Much better than the right and GB did their homework and applied the majority of the pressure on the right side of the line.
  7. The majority of our runs were to left side. WM would have scored a 15 yard TD on the first possession had he not been tackled by his shoestrings. That was to the left side. A-Train scored running to the left side. They were opening some pretty good holes for A-Train. They also didn't allow a sack. Pennington and Villarial were accountable for all 5 sacks.
  8. Smardjza(Sp?) will be a first rounder in the draft.
  9. He's also tied with Anthony Thomas in his limited time on the field.
  10. Torry Holt. Slack was picked up nicely by Colston, LT, and Roy Williams however. I win by 60 to move to 7-2
  11. Javon, Ward, and Mush. I think Jennings will play, but may still be suffereing the effects of a high ankle sprain.
  12. Actually, he picked the Bills. Golic is an idiot though because he picked GB
  13. I think this is Peyton's year. The Pats have already lost at home to the Broncos, but if there is one thing that the Pats can exploit, it is the Colts run D which is pourous. Mike Bell gouged them last week in a losing effort. It will be a high scoring close game, much like the Broncos game, but I like the Colts, 38-35, with Vinatieri kicking a GW FG as time expires.
  14. I saw that on the front page of the Post this morning on my way to work and I was wondering what the hell that was all about. What a douche satchel His step dad is a Jewish author too.
  15. I "worked" last night covering the parade, which was my first ever. The place was a madhouse. The KISS float shoul've had some music, but it was cool to see them up close. We went out to a couple bars there in the West Village afterwards and stayed out until 4:30am. I am paying for it dearly right now though, but it is well worth it.
  16. Its all the same when the lights go out.
  17. Animal cruelty.
  18. I'd bang Babs. I'd double bag it though: put a bag over my head just in case the one on her head breaks
  19. What would happen if one of her concerts were attended by a mob of hard core conservatives, and she started going off on one of her anti-Bush rants and people went crazy, just like these two? Could she be held for inciting a riot? Man...I would love to see Babs go down in some handcuffs.
  20. First, the Evil Genius is accused of banging some married broad and now his son gets caught busted smoking pot. What a great father. link
  21. Where is Worlessburger on that list? He was a first round pick who lead his team to a SB victory in his second year and lead his team to a 15-1 record in his rookie year.
  22. Same here. It hurts even more when I was torn between starting Driver or Colston and I figured Driver would get some looks because 2 other GB WRs were hurt and Colston was facing a tough BAL D. Colston put up 30 points McNabb to a lesser extent as well, but he was do for a bad game. Thank God for LT2 bailing me out and putting up 43. I am winning by 2 points, and I still have Chester the Endzone molester going up against NE tomorrow.
  23. Q: What is the difference between Michael Jackson and Neil Armstrong? A: Neil Armstrong walked on the moon and Michael Jackson f*cks little boys.
  24. I wouldn't do it. This OLine shift may be exactly what this team needs.
  25. Q: How do you turn a dishwasher into a snowblower? A: Hand the b*tch a shovel.
