  1. I am beginning to become intrigued by Justin Blalock who is listed as a RG but Mack Brown (I know he is a OL from U of Texas) said that he can be converted to play anyone of the OL positions. A trade down, picking up extra draft picks, then selecting a RG/RT in Blalock is sounding pretty good to me right now.
  2. As much as I hate them, I still give them credit for what they have accomplished. They have arguably the best coach of the last 25 years, one of the most hearlded QBs to ever play the game, and they just seem to always get the job done no matter who is injurred or who they are playing against. The thing that really upsets me is that they always seem to to be perpetually in contention becuase of the way they draft. The have 2 first rounders this year due to the Deon Branch trade with SEA, which means they will replace some aging vet and be in contention next year. I think they are the team to watch out for this post season and I think they will get through the Chargers and face BAL in an AFC Championship game. No doubt I'll be rooting against them, but I think they will beat SD.
  3. The only thing that impresses me about Ginn Jr is his straight line speed. His size, route running (Anthony Gonzalez was a MUCH better route runner than Ginn) and durability all concern me. If you look at Santonio Holmes, he wasn't an immediate impact player that was capable of replacing Randel-El like Cowher expected. I think the same will be said about Ginn once all is said and done.
  4. Welcome aboard! Your knowledge of Bills lore should do wonders for us here!
  5. What about the women that appeared in the music videos with the band? Tawny Kitaen? 2 words...Whitsnake video
  6. Granted, we are still a month and a half away from the combine, but a lot of sites I've seen have him ranked as the 6th best WR in this draft behind your top 3 (even though Ginn, Jr. has yet to announce), Meachum and Smardzijda. If Bowe is not available, another WR I like is Dallas Baker out of Florida who possesses similar size and has played 4 years in the competition rich SEC.
  7. I used to have the biggest crush on Elizabeth Shue from the movie "Adventures in Babysitting" to the point of where I wanted to kick Tom Cruise's ass for banging her in "Cocktail".
  8. It was dark and the driver said he came ill prepared to try and diagnose the problem. We had a couple of very "convincing" females with us adn the 4 of us wouldn't have fit in the cab. We actually got some pretty good footage of the night. Makes for some good stories that wouldn't have been believed without the video corroboration! I am from 'Toga and I have hopped fences when security guards were lax and didn't seem to care on their $5.00/hour pay rate. Ever since a couple of teenagers fell to their deaths a couple of years ago as a result of trying to sneak in, they have become a little more aware. Several arrests have been made since, including one of my friends' who got apprehended while under the influence of mushrooms. My friend hasn't been the same since.
  9. Mike Sherman to be named Arizona Head Coach.
  10. I think Meachum will be gone by the time (if your senario holds true) we pick in the 2nd round. The guy I like in the 2nd (if we decide to go WR) would be Dwayne Bowe out of LSU.
  11. I agree. Lets get our run stuffing DT (Terdell Dands) in FA, cut Tim Anderson, who is useless and put ourselves in position to draft an "impact" player. Ultimately, if either Lynch or Peterson falls to us at 12, we should take him and groom him to over the reigns once Willis departs for greener pastures via FA. People think that RB isn't a need and we have other holes that need to be filled. If you look around the NFL today, Running Back by committee is becoming the "vogue" thing to do and has proven to be sucessful. Change of pace backs are CRUCIAL to the type of offense we will be running in an environment such as Buffalo. You want to be a successful offense, you draft a RB, OLine, and a TE. Everyone wants a tall WR, but I think that would be much more of a luxury pick than RB.
  12. HAHA!!! Funny story! The last time I was there was to go see The Dead about 3 years ago. I drove my Wrangler out with a bunch of friends and we ended up getting belligerent to the point where I, or anybody else we were with, could drive the hour back to Rochester. Thinking we would be stranded there over night, or worse yet, get kicked out and getting a DWI on the ride home, my buddy came up with an ingenious idea. He called up AAA (he haad the gold membership with free towing anywhere within 500 miles) and said that our car broke down in the parking lot at Darien Lake and we needed a tow. About 45 minutes later a tow truck arrives and the driver asks a couple of questions about my Jeep. I tell him "It just doesn't want to turn over" and I cited previous problems with the vehicle. The tow truck driver loads my Jeep on the flatbed, no questions asked and gave us a tow (with us riding in my Jeep on the flat bed) all the way back to Rochester even though there was nothing wrong with my vehicle. There is a valuable lesson to be learned in there somewhere
  13. Pending combine results, a lot is going to change between now and the draft. Remember Cutler last year flew up the ranks of QB quickly and Whitner ascended into the top 10 and other prospects (CB Jimmy Williams, LT Winston Justice) for whatever reasons. Teams may be scared to select a RB who is injury prone in the top 10. I think he is the best RB in this draft and in an entire league of his own compared to Marshawn Lynch. I think you take the BPA at the #12 spot (except QB and if a great QB is there, trade the pick to a team that needs a QB) even if it is a RB.
  14. Marshawn Lynch in a nutshell.
  15. If AP is there, I would take him in a second. I think he is hands above Marshawn Lynch. The reason why he is oft injured is because he runs like a mad man. I paid particular attention to him during the their Bowl game and noticed a couple of things. First: he is unselfish. His roommate would enter the game to replace him and every time he gave his replacement some encouragement as he walked off the field. Second: He is a team player. On the sidlines he would talk to his O-Line and pat them on the backs and clap to try to get them pumped up. If I was a lineman, I would WANT to block for someone like A-Pete. Remember, he was only at 85% when he was playing his last game. He should come out rather than waste another possible injury in his senior year in college.
  16. DOH! Could Martz turn around this scorned franchise? God I hope the Dolphags think so.
  17. I really don't think that TE is a glaring need for us. I think that Royal had to line up and contribute a lot of blocking because the OLine was inconsistent for a majority of the season. After the bye and the shake up of the OLine, Royal had 14 of his 23 grabs for 129 yards and caught all 3 of his TDs after the bye. Those stats could have been considerably better if not for a few drops, including the one that everyone remembers in the endzone against TEN. The reason why his stats were better was because of the coaching staff's ability to utilize him as an option in the passing offense as opposed to keeping him in to help protect JP. However, if we were going to go TE somewhere in the draft, I would like Scott Chandler out of Iowa. The guy is a beast at 6'7" and 256 lbs, which would make him a huge EZ target. Ferentz says that he was one of the smartes guys he's ever coached and he is purely devoted to the concept of "team". Here is his game log from last year. Sporstline has him ranked as the 8th best TE prospect in the nation. Olsen, for those who care, is ranked at 19th.
  18. I think if Lynch or Peterson are available at #12, the last thing you do is trade that pick. You select either one of them and groom them to become WM's replacement when he walks after the '07 season. Even use the 2 of them in the backfield because it is becoming more "vogue" in the NFL to operate a running back by committee backfield as opposed to having a feature back.
  19. I was without power for 10 days and had to put up with all the bull sh-- that COn Ed was feeding me. You're right...no looting. But there was an increased police presence in the area with multiple mobile command RV's in plain view, so I think that may of had something to do with the lack of crime. In NO after Katrina, cops evacuated their families which led to crime.
  20. I saw this as well and I asked some friends of mine if it would be considered a threesome or not. The general consensus was yes if both of them were into it, not just one of them.
  21. I think Brian Moorman would be the ideal candidate to supplant WM as the banner. Either him or Marv Levy.
  22. Why not drive staight down and spend an extra day at a beach. Cocoa beach is pretty nice and I'm sure you could score some pretty nice tail down there as well.
  23. Bloomberg just said there was a small gas leak in the West Village and said that that doesn't explain the pervasive gas smell in a broad area. However, NYPD has reported the air quality is ideal after checking censors, but sensitivity should not be heightened as the censors are not showing natural gas has increased. Bloomberg: "The smell is there, they are not sure what it is, but it doesn't appear to be toxic. Manhattanites can resume a day of normalcy." I'm not sure about Bloomie saying they don't know what the source of the odor is.
  24. I walked out of my apartment today in Hoboken, which is right across the Hudson River from NYC in NJ, and I asked my buddy if he smelled gas, or some kind of fuel. He said he thought it was tar. I had my train get detoured to the World Trade Center only to show up a half hour late to work. I told my boss that my train got detoured, not knowing the reports over the news yet, and he told me I was exonerated for my tardiness and then pointed up to the television screen.
  25. I like pic #2 the best. WOW. No photoshopping necessary like some of today's "beauties".
