  1. You're right! I was trying to play devil's advocate for a second then I realized the err of my ways. Eff him and eff me!
  2. What makes them marquee is the fact that they have a pretty loyal following who travels well like the Steelers, and the Cowgirls.
  3. I guess if the NFL wants to market the game beyond the traditional US borders, having the presence of Peyton Manning, whose face is all over the TV during football season, makes a lot of sense. It just works incredibly to our disadvantage.
  4. Could you imagine Trent Edwards throwing to Evans and Crabtree in the windy conditions that we had in the Patriots game last year at the Ralph? The only thing that drafting Crabtree would accomplish is the perpetuation of this organizations gross ineptitude to realize that winning football games (especially in Buffalo) is by running the football and stopping the run. This idealization becomes more and more vital when you play in a region that offers the worst that Mother Nature can offer and you have to play there in late November and December. Just say no to Crabtree.
  5. I thought that the release of Dockery was going to have something more to do with extending Peters rather than signing another big name interior lineman to a contract similar to Dockery's.
  6. It was actually Russ Brandon talking on 103.3 the Edge.
  7. I just read that along with Coles, QB Ryan Fitzpatrick, former Pittsburgh G Kendall Simmons, and the Carolina OL are going to be in for a visit today.
  8. I mean, how is this possible? Per Schefter: It makes me think these contracts are back loaded.
  9. Could free up some more by unloading the salaries of Kelsay and Royal as well.
  10. Trimming the roster to re-start the re-building phase.
  11. Brown has stated that he would rather play guard than center. I think the Bills should look at Vilma at MLB and move POZ to the outside. I thought that POZ was a liability on the inside against the run. POZ might benefit better on the outside and allow him to pressure the QB from the weak side. You could even move him to the strong side and either draft someone like Brian Cushing or target a PA like Cato June to play the weak side. I think our targets are going to be: Vilma Cato June Jabari Greer and hopefully a center
  12. Nearly $6.6 million for averaging under 10 minutes a game and 1.8 points per game.
  13. I'm sure Stroud will be a major impact on whether or not he signs here.
  14. I've heard of the salt water flushing/cleansing which is supposedly good for your colon, but as far as a way to pack on 20 lbs, I don't think that is recommended. I'm sure he was on a Mike Phelps type of caloric intake by consuming something along the lines of 10,000 calories per day along with 400-500 grams of protein per day. It can be done--albeit pretty tough over the course of a month and a half, but a huge weight gain like that does raise a lot of eyebrows.
  15. Thanks...I'll make sure to bring my rain coat.
  16. I'll take some pictures and post them tomorrow. Hopefully the seats are as good as advertised.
  17. Am I the only one who thinks that we have our future TE on the roster in the form of Derrick Fine?
  18. I've never been to a hockey game at any level so I am pretty stoked about tonight. One of my buddies gets tickets through his company here in Philly and he can't make it tonight so we are going in his place. I guess they are phenomenal seats, around center ice and a few rows up from there. I was talking to some people at our football league and they say that hockey is the best sport to watch live. Would those of you that have been agree with this statement? If you guys are watching tonight, look for us...we'll be wearing Buffalo Sabres gear and holding up a sign wishing my buddies Mom a happy birthday back home in Buffalo.
  19. I used to live in Astoria for a while a couple of years ago and it is definitely one of the better places outside of Manhattan to live and probably the best place in Queens AFAIC. I highly suggest Mundo. This place is really small, but the food and the service is amazing and they offer cuisine from all over the world. I cannot say enough about the place. The Bohemian Beer Garden is the best bar I have ever been to in my life. Pitchers of beer are $12 and that is for Hoegarten, and other belgium beers. Good luck and if you have any other questions, PM me and I'll be more than happy to offer some more suggestions.
  20. While I do love Tarantino, I can't stand Brad Pitt. I don't think he's that good of an actor. The only times he's been good are in movies where he plays a mumbling, incoherent supporting role like in 12 Monkeys and Snatch. He was pretty good in Fight Club, but I would rather see Tarantino bring back an obscure actor like he did with Travolta in Pulp Fiction and Kurt Russell in his most recent film.
  21. I may be the only one who got that.
  22. As others have said, I think that Steve Johnson can be the one that steps in and replaces him if he is not able to go until late next year. He has prototypical size, and has shown that he can be trusted in the red zone to make the big catch. He scored 2 TDs in 2 out of the last 3 games, and he was even given a carry on a reverse in the Jets game which shows the coaching staff is trying to get the ball into his hands more.
  23. I did lose that game last night as well. After the first TD, I thought that the Carolina run game would have been too much for the Cardinals, but for some reason, Fox abandoned it. I did win 2 out of 3 yesterday though with the Raens and the under in that game.
