Paul Harris was a total liability on defense surrendering two big three pointers due to his breakdowns and getting dunked on to allow ASU to close a 15 point lead down to a 9 point lead to end the half. I actually just did some research and found out that their opponents have shot 28.9% from beyond the arc for the year compared to Syracuse shooting 34.3% for the year. I thought opponents field goal percentage would have been a lot higher than that.

There are still few things that concern me about Cuse though. Can they defend the against the 3 better? Do they have to rely on their guards to shoot the long ball to be successful even though they have two very capable big men underneath that can score easily as was showcased today? Wasn't the problem the DL coach Bill Kollar? I thought that had a bad relationship which translated in McCargo not playing an awful lot. Now that Kollar is gone, maybe we'll see if he gets on the field a little more.

He isn't a fit for this defense. He is a pass rushing LB in a 3-4 scheme. Even though he bulked up the way he did, I still can't see him rushing the passer while lined up with his hand down. He is definitely raw, and I think if he goes to the right team, he will not be asked to produce right away, maybe playing some spot duty here and there, but I still think he possesses more upside than any defensive player in the draft.

He does have a ton of upside, but I see him more as a pass rushing LB than a DE lining up with his hand down.

I truly think that the Bills are going to re-sign him to a contract that both parties can agree upon. For the sake of his career, and the Bills chances at making a run at the playoffs this year, he really needs to be in camp on time this year. I know that Peters # was around $11.5 mil per, but I think the Bills give him between $9-$10 mil, with about $25 mil guaranteed. I know he didn't have his best year last year, but he is the best option for this team.

I just got back from Jamaica on Saturday and it was beautiful. We didn't stay in Negril, however. We stayed about a half an hour East of there in a town called Lucea at a resort called the Grand Palladium. We went into Negril and went to Rick's and we had our cabbie stop by the more unconventional and less traveled bars there. Rick's is a great bar. Best place to watch the sunset on the island. I would also recommend eating the jerk chicken at the little shanties on the side of the road. It wouldn't pass a restaurant inspection here in the states, but the food is damn good. The people of Jamaica were extremely friendly too. Very accommodating in every way. Prepare to be solicited for drugs everywhere you go though. That is the way they make their money; drugs and tourism.
