I'm driving up to Syracuse from Philly to stay with my sister on Friday then we're leaving early Saturday morning for Toronto. I was checking out directions and you can either head west through Buffalo or you can head north through Watertown and Kingston. Anyone have any experience with which would be better? Also, any suggestions on restaurants, nightlife, attractions, etc would be greatly appreciated.

This is old news. As a result of this, security was increased and belligerent fans were arrested or kicked out.

I got a really good deal here in Philly. Last week, at participating Micro Centers, the game was $34.99 if you put down a $5 deposit. Then you could come back between today and the 30th of August and get the game by paying the remaining balance ($29.99). Great deal IMHO, but not as good as the SI deal. I would have done the SI deal, but I heard people saying that they wouldn't get the game until 4-6 weeks. My thoughts on the game: It is better than last years. It definitely takes some getting used to. The running game is tough to get going, but I guess you have to have better lineman to run the ball better. Seeing as how the Bills have the worst OL in the league, I'll have to address it in the offseason. The animations are better and more realistic. You can't just throw the ball up to someone that has superior speed and hope he burns the coverage. More tact is required which is fine by me. I've only played a couple of games so my initial thoughts are just that: initial.

The NFC East is going to be a dog fight this year. I guess the Eagles wanted someone with experience.

While I currently live in Philly, I think Philly fans are going to embrace Vick more so than any other city had he signed elsewhere. It is just going to give them more fodder for the talk show radio stations when McNabb tosses a couple of INT's or loses a couple of games for the coaching staff to give Vick a chance at QB. While I don't think that McNabb is going anywhere anytime soon, I think after listening to Philly fans demand he or Reid go , I think that McNabb will grow tired after enduring another season with fans calling for his head unjustifiably early in the season. I bet McNabb demands a trade after this year.

And he was running with the first team offense to open the game, receiving the first pass that Brady threw on a WR screen. He's like a Welker clone.

Shouman is more versatile and has been utilized all over the field as an H-Back and traditional TE. He is the veteran of the group and Fine is only in his 2nd year. I think it would be almost impossible to jettison one of these guys in favor of Stupar, who did show promise. We have 4 more games left in preseason for guys like Stupar to show the coaching staff what they've got.

I believe its too early to tell. On top of that, comparing a RG to a LT is like comparing apples to oranges. I will say that what we've been hearing about Wood and his performance and dedication has been pretty promising so far.
