Morgan is a monster. He is extremely disruptive and plays the run real well. I'm kinda torn as to who I think is going to be the better pro prospect: him or Griffin from USC. I guess a lot of it will depend on what Schobel will do in the offseason along with if we keep the 4-3 or not. As much as I would like the Bills to draft a QB in round 1, I think it will more likely be DL, LB, or OT.

Maybin will be just fine when the new coaching staff is in place to implement the 3-4 and moves him to OLB ala Shawn Merriman.

In 21 years of coaching, Marty has had just 2 losing seasons. Martyball is how a football team in Buffalo should be built, and with Nix as GM (the GM/HC relationship is the ultimate symbiotic relationship in football), they could build the football team the way they want to. All this extracurricular football fraternizing between Nix and Schottenheimer just goes to show that they would be on the same page and could come to a mutual agreement with regards to football operations.

I'm awfully happy that the first part of my prediction has held true, now if Marty were on board as HC, I couldn't be happier. He builds teams that would ideally be successful in Buffalo, with the elements that we play in, the division that we play in, the conference that we play in, and the mentality that Buffalonians would love to see. Marty is a no brainer given his ties to Buffalo and to Nix.

Heard the same thing. They were talking to Schefter about coaches on the hot seat, and John Buccigross said that it looks like Fewell will be staying in Buffalo. Schefter didn't day it, the anchor said it. I was kinda shocked when I heard that as well.

Saw it (not in 3-D) and thought it was amazing. Told my brother-in-law immediately afterward that it was a futuristic "Dances with Wolves". I would see it again, but in the 3-D. I read that Cameron wasn't too keen on it being shot in 3-D because the viewer would see a strobe effect with it being shot at 24 frames per second, but from what I have heard, the strobe effect isn't too big of a deal.

My girlfriend just flew into Minneapolis/Saint Paul airport from Philly this morning without too much of a problem. It was a major concern considering the developments of the weather up in those parts.

His "tenure" lasted 3 weeks and he resigned after finding out how much work a SVP of Football Operations actually has to do. I don't know if Thurman is talking about being a SVP, but what I think he is saying is maybe being part of the new "ownership group", or a consultant of some sort.

The only team that I think the Bills are better than on that list are the Seachickens. Both the Raiders and the Bears have at least beaten teams with a winning record. Oakland has been playing some really good ball lately and have at least knocked off teams with a winning record (PHI, PIT, CIN). Much like the Bills teams of yore, they are incapable of beating teams with a winning record.

Gumble: After looking at that, how can you argue that it wasn't pass interference?

Pooj, I must say, we possess very similar tastes in beer. I just had two of the 90 minute DFH IPAs and I'm feeling a little pretty good. Followed that up with an Lancaster Brewing Company Milk stout, but it doesn't compare to the DFH. I haven't been to the brewery, which is in Roehoebeth (? sp) Beach Maryland. I've had friends that have done the tour and they give out free samples to a number of different beers they are working on. They also have a DFH Brew Pub/Restaurant right on the beach there and the menu offers suggestions for beer/food pairings. It is one of my goals to get down there for an afternoon tasting one of these weekends. Its about 2 hours or so from Philly. As for the snow fall, I escaped Philly just before the snow arrived and am here in Syracuse watching from the sidelines. I talked to a friend who has extra tickets Eagles game that is having a tough time unloading them as a result of the change in game time, and he said they had 6+ inches at around 1:30 pm and they weren't expecting it to stop any time soon.

I know the Bills have been pretty competitive since Fewell took over. But I think the Bills can't hold a candle to the Pats currently and I see them getting beat by more than 7. I would love for them to prove me wrong though. As for tonight's game, its a tough game to call. Indy had 29 players on the injury report just this monday and Jax is fighting for their playoff lives. No doubt that when healthy, Indy is a better team and I do think it will be close, which in that case, take the team that is getting the points.
