  1. Or the cowbell player from Boise St.!
  2. It helps that the Redskins generate more revenue than any other sports franchise. This is why DS can throw money to coaches and FA that seemingly don't work out. Ralph and co. could learn a lot from Danny Boy.
  3. Maybe he could be player/coach ala Pete Rose!
  4. McClain is also a Junior who has yet to declare for the draft.
  5. "April springs out of Bills contract" HaHa. I get it Tim.
  6. Cushing did have a monster year and had Byrd started from the get-go, I think the results may have been different. Congrats to Cushing.
  7. I have found video of what I thought was a 40 year old playing the xylophone from last night's game. However, it wasn't a xylophone, it was a cowbell, and she is rocking out on it! I have a fever and the only prescription is more cowbell!
  8. I know he played for Miami, but he initially got his start as a UDFA picked up by Buddy Nix and the San Diego Chargers as a KR in 2004.
  9. I wish the same could be said for them women of Boise. I remember seeing one that looked as if she was just released from the burn unit, a 270 pound cheerleader, and a 40 year old playing what appeared to be a xylophone. They looked like a roving pack of wild carnies smattered with orange and blue warpaint.
  10. I think it stems back to something that he said earlier this year. It was something along the lines of "Who would want to coach in Buffalo?" I didn't hear him say it personally, but if he did and he ends up coaching here in Buffalo, it would be a little odd.
  11. Good point. I am intrigued with Grimm as a possibility because everywhere the man has gone, he's been part of a winner. He's won 3 Super Bowls as a player in Washington, 1 as a coach with Pittsburgh, and he helped Arizona achieve their first Super Bowl appearance. He's not first on my list of ideal candidates, but the Bills could do a lot worse, IMHO.
  12. Adam_Schefter New development to coaching carousel and to Buffalo's coaching search: Being told that Bill Cowher not likely to coach in 2010. half a minute ago from web
  13. Burn the whole thing down and start from scratch. Its a good start but there is plenty of fat to trim on the roster still.
  14. Even then, knowing the Bills, they may take someone who we all think is a slam dunk sure thing, but opt for the surprise player ala Whitner
  15. Who we pick will depend on who we get in FA as well as what kind of systems we will be running (ie west coast offense, or 3-4 defense). I think the Bills will make a run at someone like Matt Light to play LT, who may become available with the play of rookie Sebastian Volmer at LT for the Pats. Same can be said for DT Vince Wolfork. It also will depend on what Schobel does. If he retires, the Bills will almost certainly have to draft DE early. Then you have to take into consideration who enters the draft (McClain is a JR) and when all the potential draftees are set, you have to wait and see how they perform in the combine in February as well as pro days. This will result in players slipping and rising. We'll have a better idea of who will possibly be available in February.
  16. Dude, when are you going to give up this idea that Kubiak is going to get fired? From the article, a direct quote from Bob McNair, the Texans owner:
  17. I take Glazer's word over just about any other reporter covering the NFL.
  18. I believe if the Jets lose tonight, that would mean the Texans earn the final playoff spot.
  19. I'm not sure you read my post above, but in case you haven't, here is some quoted text directly from Schefter's Twitter feed:
  20. Just heard here on the radio in Philly that Schefter reported that the Texans have informed Kubiak that he will be back for another year.
  21. In his Twitter feed, Schefter also says that Weis will not be HC in Buffalo and that Fewell is interviewing for the HC position on Monday.
  22. I betcha we get Marty's kid because of the ties Buddya had with Marty.
  23. In his last six games, Mallett threw 15 touchdowns to only four interceptions, and he maintained a solid completion percentage around 60.0 and a mind-boggling YPA of 9.9. He would be a bit of a project and if the Bills were to draft him, they would no doubt have to let the kid sit on the bench to develop him.
