  1. Dibs is a well established practice here in Philly. Violence has erupted as a result of someone parking in a shoveled spot.
  2. This guy is Starbuck's target demo.
  3. About 8 inches on the ground here in Philly. While you guys further up the 95 corridor are getting snow, we are getting snow followed by a half inch of ice.
  4. I haven't heard Ralph come out and publicly recant his statement earlier in the season when he said that the Bills' #1 priority in the offseason was to address the QB position. It was a Wawrow article. Because of this, I think the Bills will attempt to draft their QB of the future at #3, because unlike last year, when the top 3 LOT's were drafted before we picked at #9, we took the BPA. With us being at #3, we will get the #1 player at his position, weather it be QB, CB, WR.
  5. I was reading that there are a number of scouts who predict that the biggest surprise in this years draft will be Cameron Jordan getting drafted in the top 5-10.
  6. He will get a ring. John Kuhn got one when he was a member of the Steelers practice squad a couple of years ago:
  7. I don't know if the Droid is the way to go. I have had problems with mine and finally, after it became possessed, I couldn't function with it, thus rendering it unusable. I just received my replacement after reporting my other one stolen, and I just made a phone call. When it ended, the screen went black and I couldn't get to the main screen. It stayed like this until I pulled the battery. Be careful what you ask for. The grass isn't always greener on the other side.
  8. If Wilfork can play DE in a 3-4, Tommy Harris could easily make the transition.
  9. Casey Matthews will be severely overdrafted, IMO.
  10. I like the Pack. Rodgers has been playing out of his mind and can defeat a team by himself with no running game. The defenses are both good, but a slight edge to the Steelers.
  11. Not since Comcast cable guy stole my credit card and purchased thousands of dollars worth of crap between Philly and Virginia. He got caught after he attempted to withdraw thousands of dollars at an ATM machine and I was shown pictures of him trying to do so. Recognized him immediately as the cable guy.
  12. So this is the "Chinese Democracy" of video games? The parallels are eerie.
  13. Syracuse D is not as intimidating as it has in years past. Watching Nova drill 3's all half is frustrating.
  14. Serious question: What makes this game any different from the other games like Gears of War or Halo? Is it the dialogue/nudity, or is the gameplay supposed to be better?
  15. Couldn't get over the hump to take the lead. As JR mentioned, the Triche miss on the gimme was a huge momentum swing. I believe Pitt followed that play up with a dunk on the other end that electrified the crowd.
  16. Have to root for the Steelers because I have friends who are Jets fans that are pretty obnoxious about their team. Also I have to say that I hate Fireman Ed more than any player/coach on the Jets team. He is enough of a reason for me to root for the Steelers.
  17. Casey Matthews will be overdrafted no matter what.
  18. She looks like she's at least 25.
  19. I think it could be Gabbert, who possesses a similar quick release and ability to throw on the run. He's a little bigger, stronger arm, but accuracy isn't nearly as good as Rodgers. He's streaky like Rodgers though and he is tough as nails.
  20. He has one of the quickest releases in college football He has a pretty strong arm Fairly mobile and won't hesitate to pick up yards with his legs, but his footwork needs to improve. Great size and measurables. Accuracy needs to improve. He is a streaky thrower. Once he gets into a rhythm, he seems to complete a lot of passes. Get him out of his rhythm and he can be rattled and inaccurate. I think he was limited in the offense that was run at Mizzou While his pocket does break down some, he tends to abandon the play, which led to him improvising when his primary receiver was covered. Didn't go through his progressions while in the pocket. I think he is a great prospect who would definitely need to sit for a year to learn the pro style offense and learn how to go through his progressions, look off/recognize coverage and to work on his footwork. Is he a top 5 pick? I think so. He reminds me of a bigger Aaron Rodgers. He has a similar release and ability to throw outside the pocket, but his arm is much stronger, but not as accurate. I could endorse the Bills taking him at #3.
  21. Oregon's unis were designed to make them look faster
  22. He owns a house in Saratoga in a development called Interlocken. Huge multimillion dollar homes. He plays gold at this really nice, fairly new course called Saratoga National. On father's day back in 2007, my father, my brother-in-law, and myself went to play some golf at the National. It was a real treat because greens fees were over $100 there, so we decided to full advantage of the amenities there. We got there early and they have a really nice driving range where you can hit balls before your round. My old golf coach runs the driving range there and he happened to be there that day. We were talking to him for a couple of minutes and he points subtly to a guy hitting golf balls by himself....it was Parcels just drilling driver. He is a lot bigger in person and his hair was pristine white. We didn't go over to say hello or anything, because the golf course is probably an escape for him. But it was a great encounter.
  23. Very Bad Things with Christian Slater. The darker side of bachelor parties.
  24. Good luck with that Pooj. When there is playoff baseball in Philly, we would tailgate in the parking lots with TVs to watch both playoff baseball and the Eagles. Great times with fans who are extremely passionate about their sports teams.
