  1. Read on the ESPN article that the Raiders don't plan on using him as a QB, but as a WR.
  2. The Bills will also have some extra compensatory picks next year with the loss of Poz and Whitner to FA. This could be used as a justification to take a flyer on a player that is in the supplemental draft.
  3. This pretty much assures the Bills will not take Pryor: From the comments section of PFT about the supplemental draft:
  4. I think the Bills would be a potential suitor considering their publicized attempt to trade up in the draft to get him. If this were to happen, I think Ryan Fitzpatrick would be the odd man out.
  5. While I agree that Spiller has a long way to go to live up to the #9 pick in the draft, I feel this might be the best way to integrate him into the offense and get him the touches that he needs to be successful.
  6. Another blogger with no credible sources throwing some s4it against the wall.
  7. Love seeing this stuff....surprised there was no flag on the Bucs for this. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UgUlp2X6Kc4
  8. The white uni's are pretty dope. And Merriman's visor with the new white helmets, just might be the best look in all of the NFL.
  9. Maybe with Goodell's slighting of the Bills with the Vick issue, he will exercise leniency with Merriman
  10. $20,000 is a drop in the bucket for these guys. I'm sure he won't miss it.
  11. He's been my guy to watch. I was reading on BB message board that the guy has been lights out at camp and just looks like a gamer. Here is his college highlight reel: Kamar Aiken
  12. Not really earth shattering news, but it does fly in the face of everyone that this was not a decision made by the bean counters and Ralph Wilson at OBD. I can respect the fact that it was a decision that was brought on by Lee Evans.
  13. I agree. With reports out of camp that Naaman hasn't dropped a pass and with guys like Peter King stating that he thinks Donald Jones is going to be a huge surprise, the Bills FO thought that they could get some value for a guy who didn't fit into their offensive scheme, and fill that with the younger guys. I'm alright with the move, but I do realize they send a message that they aren't going to compete this year.
  14. Or he'll be the heir apparent to Brady.
  15. I say they have to trade him now. Once news like this gets picked up by the media, it is just going to create a huge distraction that a young team shouldn't have to endure. Hearing that one of your leaders is on the trade block and they have to answer questions about it every day when they should be focusing on their first preseason game isn't good. Trade him, get it over with before the game. It is moot to think about what kind of player he is because he is going to get traded.
  16. Sounds like it could be a hamstring.
  17. Here in Philly, people say "SEPTA...everyone rides it, SEPTA white people".
  18. Trade him. We are deep at the WR position with some young, hungry talent and unfortunately, Lee doesn't fit into the type of offense we run.
  19. Maybin battling for a roster spot The best part of this article is this: And this:
  20. Lombardi hears that the Bills have been trying to trade Maybin
  21. I think CJ is a unique talent, but I think we all need to temper our expectations as to what he and the running game in general will be able to accomplish this year. Afterall, this is the same team that managed just 6 rushing TDs all of last season! I think CJ will end up with around 1200 yards from scrimmage and muster 6 total TDs (on both offense and special teams).
  22. I remember this play vividly. This is how I will always remember Lil Donte. I wish him well because of him trumpeting the Bills cause, but he was part of the problem, not part of the solution.
  23. I think Shawn Nelson has a unique skill set that can be taken advantage of and is in the mold of what CHan might be looking for in a TE. He is the pass catching/athletic type that isn't known for his physicality, and with Chan's spread style offense, can create some mismatches with opposing defense's smaller personnel. I read somewhere that the undrafted FA TE from UNC the Bills picked up will be the #2 TE this year. He has had a history of injuries in his UNC career, but considering all the games that he missed, he still is the UNC record holder for most catches in a career.
