Yep, including this MNF game. Very boring to watch two teams looking impotent offensively. Geno was missing the simplest of checkdowns, Winston looked like he didnt know where to throw (perhaps because he didnt have good options) and both defenses looked great because of this. We should trample the Saints on Thanksgiving Day.

I am literally on Bourbon Street right now, enjoying a great weekend in N'awlins 😀 To the OP, I can't shake the feeling that McD and Daboll are playing the long game and trying things with The Goal in mind. Capability-wise, they can beat the Titans of the world but are making sure they try different things to fine tune their offense for the ultimate purpose. What makes me think this way? Good thread and I agree with treating the players respectfully. I do wonder though if past players would actually like the attention as they have been away from the spotlight for a long time and miss the adulation.

Not quite a trade opportunity, but can Jerome Bettis come back and play for 4 months? 🙂 That goal line attempt vs the Titans was the Bus' bread and butter play. I wish we had a back like him even if for spot duty.

Maybe he was off due to their D and our OL being unable to fully handle them. But this was a similar situation to the Steelers game with the difference being a far better performance from Allen this time around. That is improvement and progress. Not every QB, including Allen, is going to get 3 seconds to scan the field from the pocket, in every game. Allen did the best he could. 31 points is good enough against an aggressive D. But our own D continually allowed scoring drive after scoring drive in the second half. Even after the Titans lost a key piece on their OL in Lewan.

Yes, the O could have played better but they put up 31 points. That's good enough to win. Imo, this loss is more on the D. They could barely touch Tannehill which is terrible considering the resources invested in the DL. Couldn't stop their run or the long drives. We played physically against the Chiefs and won. We have to solve the likes of the Titans and Bucs

If this keeps up, he will be let go. I suspect that in a division with Allen and (perhaps) an ascending Jones, they will feel compelled to hire an offensive minded HC. Seeing the job in Dallas, I think Kellen Moore will be one of the candidates.
