  1. I had to scratch my head and think real hard anout who "Jones" was. I felt sad when I realized who you referred to and remembering that he was a Second Rd pick
  2. Never underestimate the benefit of a vet presence even if in spot duty. See the catch on Allen's across the body Qbs-should-never-attempt-that throw which he caught. We also don't know if McK's performance was a flash in the pan or if the proverbial light bulb went on.
  3. I distinctly remember that shot of BB and thinking his lips are about to utter the f-word. Along with last season's phone slam, these are two priceless images. But credit where credit is due, he hugged and whispered in Allen's ear so at least he didnt come across as a sore loser. It is rightful for him to feel pi$$ed at getting his rear handed to him in his house.
  4. I bet there is more than one playoff-bound team which has looked at McK's performance and thought "we are so f*****". Combine McK's game, Davis' emergence over the past 1+ month, the catching ability which Singletary exhibited yesterday. stumbling into (perhaps) the optimal OL combination and Allen's willingness to take the underneath throws, this O is set up to finally live up to the pre-season billing.
  5. Lets blow them out by end of 3rd quarter and give a quarter's worth of work to Trubisky and the other backups.
  6. There is so much to disagree with here. First of all, if Allen was on the Pats (shudder, puke), BB wouod commit a lot more resources on the O side. Secondly, Allen does not have accuracy issues. I thought that narrative was put to rest sometime last season. Lastly, some QBs need a very strong supporting cast to succeed as game managers. At the other end, QBs like Allen have offenses designed around them. You are entirely wrong if you think BB would not want an Allen on his team. As of now, he has had to beef up the defense and add pieces such as TEs to make Jones functional (he was preparing to draft a QB during free agency). Yes, Jones is doing well for a rookie but he has been supported by a very good D and coaching.
  7. I also think those are his best two games so far but today's gets the edge due to his patience, using all parts of the field and couple of throwaway (instead of making a risky play). Just an incredible performance today supported by ol, McK, Diggs, Singletary
  8. I would think he wants to go to a team that offers a better supporting cast
  9. Safe to say the MJ10 brand's stock nose dived today
  10. Thanks and makes sense. I suppose there are likely to be a lot of factors which cause variations in immune response. Besides the ones you mentioned, a doc friend had told me that childhood vaccinations also may have an impact (me being born in India, as kids, we were given mandatory BCG and smallpox vaccines)
  11. The information at that link is the one I had read. I was wondering more about the susceptibility to infection. Which Hapless just answered
  12. I am trying to follow and understand your logic. Are you saying that BB stopped trying to score because he thought 4 points was sufficient margin to win the game? Which also implies that you think the Pats** could score at will in that game (not saying anything about the Bills ability as clearly they were unable to score more). Do explain more.
  13. Given how he has come on (Moulds like) over the past few games, that won't happen. If he isn't already, he should be officially our #2. Tough twinkle-toed dude.
  14. (feel free to bump me to your Covid thread if this is not the appropriate place for my question) I see that a higher BMI is correlated to the risk for infection. In that case, even with a higher muscle mass, aren't linemen like Dawkins more susceptible to catching Covid? I couldnt find this info, but is the quantity of vaccine administered dependent on weight and BMI? I thought it is a standard quantity for all but is there data to suggest that the quantities administered should be higher for heavier people?
  15. Didn't the Pats** also win a couple of games that way? And Bills lost a couple of such ? Ifs and butts ...(heh)
  16. I agree. Based on production esp over the last month, he should always be on the field with Diggs. Sanders, imo, should be #4 and used in spot duty. I still think he is valuable to have on the team.
  17. At the beginning of this season, I thought both were good complements to each other. But Moss has had a disappointing season , he has neither the shiftiness nor the vision. Curious to know - what are you seeing which makes you prefer him over DS?
  18. And you don't have to. All I am saying is that I would be much more upset if Morse, Dawkins or Williams committed such penalties.
  19. Happy. Don't over think it
  20. He admitted as much after the game. Cut the guy a break. He was playing a position he hadn't before, is a rookie and was playing a good D line.
  21. Mediocre? He had some poor throws early on but I thought his mechanics were not right at those points. Quite likely the ankle is still bothering him. As the game went along, he did very well. The Panthers record is not good but their D is. Calling his performance mediocre is a lazy take
