  1. I agree with most of this but I doubt the number of targets will go up due to the addition of Howard, Allen starting to throw to Singletary, (hopefully) emergence of Davis and (presumably) the addition of a fast rookie. We should be comfortable with the fact that we won't ever have a "top 5" TE as defined by yards and TDs. And in a balanced offense with gobs of receiving talent, that is perfectly fine.
  2. Fantastic news. Imho, this doesn't change our draft strategy. To echo many others in this thread - where the heck is this money appearing from? (not that I care, just being curious)
  3. BB is still one of the best coaches. However, he is a terrible GM. If he were to just stick to coaching and Kraft gets a good GM and pro personnel evaluator, then BB can make that team a postseason contender every season.
  4. Couple of mocks agree with you: Prisco and Trapasso
  5. Welcome back. You were missed. Truth be told, you were called for earlier but the phone was off the hook
  6. That has less credence than a rumor - it's just a "proposal" . Anyone can create one and it means nothing until there is at least some basis to it.
  7. I am having a tough time picking 5 losses
  8. One of the best trades the Bills have made If he is leaving, good luck for the future.
  9. "There are only 32 such positions in the world"
  10. Not to me. NFL math makes my head hurt - the cap calculations, comp formulae are dense to say the least. If NFL math was a subject in engineering school, I would have accepted Transport Phenomena and partial differential equations more willingly. 🙂
  11. But for the NFC to win a Superbowl, technically, it needs just one elite QB. The AFC teams will beat themselves up.
  12. I don't agree with this at all. In those key moments, in a pressure packed environment what those two did was nothing short of phenomenal. We have of course seen a lot of other great QB play but to trade such heavy weight punches is not common. They raised the level of quarterbacking and there must bea lot of teams around the league who are very worried
  13. I wouldn't hold my breath for Preston Brown to bloom
  14. Love this. Pi$$ of Rodgers after his diva antics got him a rich contract but lost his best player.
  15. Lot of creativity. What we saw today is the Bills' version of going all in for the Superbowl but not spending a single draft pick
  16. Finally got the guy we wanted but got picked before the tub of lard we chose.
  17. (didnt read through the entire thread) Bills' backup?
  18. The question is - how good, reliable, affordable and available is Myles Jack? We can use an upgrade at LB. I just don't know if Jack is that player
  19. I expect the Steelers to make it a run heavy offense, asking Trubisky to be a game manager. They have Harris and a decent corps to support such an offense. I expect the Steelers to do well with MT
  20. We are both saying the same thing. I was saying that we did not have a problem with number of DEs on the roster. Hence, technically "depth" was not an issue for the DE role.
  21. DE depth was not a problem. We have bodies but we need more impact
  22. If Lawson signs, it will point to a shake up in the DE room. I have theorized that Hughes, Obada and Epenesa won't be on the team next season
  23. McGahee was a terrible choice for a team starved of talent and the knowledge that he wouldn't play in his rookie year. TD out smarted himself.
  24. Would he not choose a team offering an easier path to being a starter? Pittsburgh, New Orleans come to mind with pending stories in Houston, Miami ....
  25. Tyrod Taylor didn't turn the ball over much either.
