QB PFF claimed better than Allen is retiring
Fan in Chicago replied to Sharky7337's topic in The Stadium Wall
Is using the search button on this forum really very difficult? -
A topic that has been discussed after the season ended and before TC and the draft is not stale. The discussion about Edmunds has been from February and nothing has changed since then. You just want to refresh the discussion, which is fine. Then you should have just bumped one of these threads: That search took me 2 minutes to do - a lot shorter time than the time you have spent defending this thread.

Would be great if two of them are in the 2nd round - Jets (unlikely), Seahawks (maybe). Even if we have to throw in our 4th or 5th rounder. i.e. give up our 1st and 4th, get their 2 x 2nd rounders giving us 3 x 2nd round + 1 x 3rd round. Then draft Araiza with the 5th

Kyle Brandt will announce Bills 3rd round pick
Fan in Chicago replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall
I think he regularly gushes over Josh Allen and what the Bills achieve with him. And thats A-O-K in my book. -
Given Beane's proclivities, it will be easier for you to accept that he won't be our Day 1 pick.

I cant believe this thread is 52 pages long. We do not need an elite RB. The potency of the offense is due to Allen's arm and those of the ones he is throwing to. We need to have a competent running game to take the pressure off of Allen and reduce his designed runs. Better blocking will help the running and passing games. If Dorsey really wants another RB, get one in round 3 or later. Rd 1 is for elite, expensive positions - QB, WR, CB and OTs. If it came down to it, I would rather select an OT or OG before even considering a RB. No first round RBs, not for the Bills and the way their offense is structured.

Well, HFBD , junior. j/k sorry to hear about your surgery. Hope we all grow old together and reminisce about the multiple superbowl victories this team will bring us. Didn't the dates get reset when this board was upgraded by SDS? I think I joined around the beginning in 1998.

Why New England Sucks -latest episode.😉

I know that's not the topic of this post but that Hyde interception still amazes me even though I have seen it like 10 times. One of the best defensive plays of the past season -
Dwayne Haskins killed [Edit: struck by vehicle]
Fan in Chicago replied to FireChans's topic in The Stadium Wall
I was with a colleague few years back in NOLA. He had been working for this customer for 3 days before I joined him for the next 2. Car ran out of gas on the highway. I asked him to put it in neutral as there was an exit close by. I kid you not, we got to the exit, rolled down the exit , made a right turn and into a gas station before it stopped. I asked him the same question - did you not see the warning light and alarm. His answer was "I did, thought I would take care of it later and forgot about it". So while I don't know how Haskins handled it, there are people who can tune out alarms even if they are literally flashing in front of them -
Gunner's 2022 Draft Quarterback Evaluations
Fan in Chicago replied to GunnerBill's topic in The Stadium Wall
Stellar work as always. You do not have a single QB with a 1st round grade but in another thread you noted that QBs do get over-drafted (not your words) and that is okay. Given your analysis can you make a prediction on the order of where they will be picked and will they all be picked in the 1st round? -
Tre should absolutely not be rushed back, I am sure the staff won't. With the very good DL as it stands now, the pressure on the defensive backfield should be less than for teams with weak front 4s. Also, the O can be expected to score lot of points. Finally, Dane Jackson seems to have held his own last season. So, we don't have to panic if Tre is not ready for game 1. Depending on how the draft falls, a vet can be added post-draft and we should be fine. The only question will be which of the vets we will add (and that depends on the skill set and readiness level of the rookie)

Spending a lower round pick to lock up one position group for a long time, is worth it imo. While the Bills don't and shouldn't intend to punt a lot or have to depend on a good punt, I worry about a killer mistake in a critical game. I don't have a warm fuzzy feeling when Haack punts. Good use of a 5th or lower

I might be an outlier here...... Draft needs
Fan in Chicago replied to Yantha's topic in The Stadium Wall
Just because people, including me, are disagreeing with you doesn't mean we are not being nice. Imo, you are off on your take except for beefing up the OL early in the draft. As an example, Speed at WR is a very clear need -
Bills have almost $10 million in cap space available
Fan in Chicago replied to Rubes's topic in The Stadium Wall
Imo, with Rousseau, Miller, Basham and Lawson around, AJE is the odd one out. If any team is willing to pay something for him, it is a chip Beane can use to move up in one of the draft rounds. If this happens and the staff is not sold on Basham, then Hughes can be offered a cheap deal to ensure there is competition in TC. AJE should be on the bubble -
What would this message achieve between now and the draft? By the time TC starts, the RB room will be set. The message will be sent post-draft if an RB is actually selected in the early rounds.

Are boneless wings with ranch the best game day dish?
Fan in Chicago replied to Royale with Cheese's topic in Off the Wall
Here is my own recipe for your chips: 8 oz of cream cheese 1 jar of hot salsa 4-6 tsp chopped cilantro 1 cup finely chopped scallions (Optional) 1 large medium heat jalapeno Mix well -
Am I the only one who hasn't completely given up on Zack Moss?
Fan in Chicago replied to Logic's topic in The Stadium Wall
IMO, this is his make-or-break year. In a slight parallel, I had given up on Knox at this time last year but he did have a very good 2021. Similarly, I am hoping Moss also plays better. Two things though - the OL still needs upgrade and I am hoping Beane is not done yet. Saffold is better at run blocking but we need an upgrade at RT. Secondly, Moss doesnt look like he can be the feature back in case of a Singletary injury. So we still need a Plan B for the overall RB room. -

So..... We have room to make a vet move or two ahead of the draft. Cool! -

Similar to losing your virginity, the first goal is to get past it any which way you can 😁
