Got an indoor antenna and was up and running in 10 minutes!

I downloaded the ESPN app and tried to watch something being aired and it said "login via TV provider". Which, of course, I have none. I am now going to run to the hardware store and pickup an indoor antenna. That is not a bad idea either. Lets see if my daughter can pay me back back for the 27 years of sweat, labor and college costs.

Let's think about this as an example - did Rousseau help the team more than Etienne would have? My answer is a "yes". The run game may have been somewhat better but blocking would have restricted Etienne's effectiveness anyway. Hence, even if we had the choice, Rousseau would still have been the better choice. Fast forward to today - in the first round, a lockdown corner, fast/YAC WR or even a stud OT would help the team this year a whole lot more than a RB would.

To make matters worse, Bills pick way down on the draft order. The glory days of knowing our #1 pick within the first hour are gone.

I am not debating Hall's abilities. The point of discussion should be - where is our 1st rounder best spent? And this is not just for the upcoming season. Imo, the pick should be going towards BPA at a premium position. Else you are not getting long term value from that pick. To illustrate the point, picking Fournette over Mahomes and Barkley over Allen is how teams wallow in mediocrity.

But a good 1st round WR impacts the offense more than a RB will. Bills O with Allen at the helm is doing itself a disservice by trying to be run-centric. And hence, I don't think they will investing lot of assets (1st round) into that position. Every year there is some RB that gets hyped ahead of the draft but runners picked so high just haven't made a meaningful impact to any team's performance.

Just doing some math: Trade back with Seattle: get #40, 41 (value=192), give up #25 and #89 (value=193) Trade back with Giants: Get #36 and #67 (Value= 162) Give up #25 and #130 (Value=170) Not good for us but we then have 2 picks each in rounds 2 and 3

Let me help you out here. This board has been in existence for 20+ years. It has well established customs and guidelines which has served the TBD community well and has resulted in this being one of the finest sports fan boards you can find. Respectful discussion is encouraged and oldies get some leeway due to their past contributions to this board. If you come in to the board, it will serve you well to learn more about assimilating than trying to force your thoughts on to others and being aggressive. Admitting a mistake or ignorance is not a bad thing. You can adjust your attitude and have a long and fun experience on this board. Or you can decide otherwise. Or you can have that decision made for you.
