Do the Bills have the best offense in the league?
Fan in Chicago replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall
Arguably, the WR room last year was not widely different - Beas was hurt and Sanders was on his last legs. So we may be slightly better in that regard. But strength of schedule is something I hadnt considered. We did benefit from having very few major injuries last year and shouldnt expect the same every season. I see how we were both saying most of the same things and I was coming to a more rosy/hopeful conclusion 🙂 -
I would like to see a trade up into the 4th round and pick up OL , WR and P with the resultant picks. That's it.

The skill players, together, are a formidable group. Going to throw some cold water here - I would like more protection for Allen. Adding Saffold was good but there is little depth there and RT is still TBD (we dont know how Brown will perform on a consistent basis). I dont consider the contract renewals as upgrades as the players were already here - One WR with speed is required to take advantage of Allen's arm. We added TE, RB both positions help the short to intermediate game but not the long one Why do you think so? If anything, I see the building blocks of a more balanced attack which should help us avoid games like the Jags last year. I would like a credible deep threat but that by itself should not make the offense regress. Protection is an issue as I noted above. Besides that, what is your thought process? -
NFL Draft 2022 Second & Third Round Discussion Thread

Imo, 2nd and 3rd rounders should be contributing by Year 2 and establishing themselves as starters. It took longer than that for Knox to develop, Epenesa is just too invisible and Moss plummeted last year. I understand your point about expectations regarding hit rate but I hope it doesnt take Cook or Bernard a full 2 seasons to be positively impactful. The good thing is that the RB position is easier to show impact in a rookie year and there is no pressure for Cook to be the lead back. I have been thinking this is the year Beane will move players for picks but there has been no movement so far. Epenesa and Moss should be trade bait to get at least a 4th rounder, though Moss by himself will have to be accompanied by a draft pick. -

That's not going to happen. But they intend to be effective when they do -

Grabbing a Cigar City Jai Alai before the Bills pick. Don't ya trade up, Beane -
I would be concerned if we walked away tonight without any significant addition (s) to the offense. Imo, if we add an OT, C+G and a fast WR, the draft would already be a success. But in reality I expect one O addition and one on D

(Warning: Random reference coming) The Rodgers drama reminds me of a particular dialog in Die Hard. Towards the end, where it becomes obvious that Hans (the terrorist) is collecting his haul from the safe, the Bonnie bedelia character says "so after all the posturing about justice, this was only about the money" 🙂 There is no such thing Doesn't change the fact that the Ravens didnt do him any favors by shipping off one of his main targets. I am not a LJ fan either but this makes little sense to me (less than the AJ Brown trade which was a $$ move) He doesn't?

Abram Elam is now 40, so yes he was a young dad
-
Do you have any substantial point to make besides moaning about a4th round pick on a stacked roster?
-
The guy had a chance to get out of GB but he chose money. If he felt that strongly about the Packers'FO, he should have bailed
-
The packers' draft strategy is daft
-
I agree about the second part. I hope we spend one of the next 2 picks for the OL
-
Yep. But, net, we spent a 1st round pick on offense
-
We just heard that Elam was the last guy on Beane's board with a 1st round grade. That tells you everything. The 4th round pick on the roster is inconsequential
-
You are not counting Diggs

@GunnerBillwho will it be?

Trade Up!!!
