  1. Take whatever credit you are getting, man, don't get too greedy 😀
  2. But truth be told, he did underperform his draft position. Clearly not his fault that he was drafted so high, would have been okay as a 2nd round pick.
  3. I admit that I was one of those that defended the pick (not the player because I don't follow college sports) as I gave the benefit of doubt to the FO for several years. After being burnt by the likes of McGahee, Maybin, Whitner, Flowers, I gradually stopped doing that. But also that I am not averse to first round DBs in general as it is always important to pick a good player more than focusing on the position. Of course, there are some obvious positions you don't spend a 1st rounder on, such as RB.
  4. Imo, Baker is not damaged goods and should get a second chance with a team which has a strong and experienced head coach, a good culture and/or strong locker room with veteran players. Seattle, hence, makes sense to me also. Other option would have been the Colts but I think Reich must be too burned by the Wentz disaster.
  5. For clarity, were you the owner of said vehicles or the one taking a ride (literally)? Also, are you a he or a she? 🙂
  6. I presume he means due to inflation. Roughly , 2% inflation a year would halve the value in 20 years and that inflation rate for the US sounds right (ignoring the past several months which are an anamoly for the modern times)
  7. Fitz, Diggs, Jodie Foster
  8. Hedging would be a good strategy. Historically there have been lot of cases of shiny new toys whose luster wears off, sometimes too rapidly. IMO, his mistake was in going all in.
  9. So it is true what they say about blondes...
  10. You made me break my promise to my wife to not watch p*rn.
  11. I have thanked the stars multiple times for not putting Allen on the Patriots***. That would be seriously depressing.
  12. I agree too. Such are the decisions when you have a premium QB on the team. Let him play this year out and get younger/cheaper next year at that position. Further significant spends need to be on the OL and WR.
  13. Didnt we spend 25 years till 2020 being the whipped step child of the NFL? Things have looked up for the past 2 seasons so lets enjoy the ride. If we dont make our goal, there will be great disappointment irrespective of our excitement leading up to the big game. So, why be less happy now?
  14. Yea but how would that solve Cleveland's problem?
  15. "Are we going to go all the way this time" 😃
  16. But NJ is a two plate state
  17. Hence the addition of Johnson, Cook....
  18. Micah Hyde will go down as one of my fav Bills of all time. Dude has been rock solid for us and just goes about doing his business quietly. Hill can learn a lot from players like Hyde
  19. This "me" stuff isn't going to end well for Hill esp when the guy throwing to him is a weak armed QB
  20. How can the bolded parts NOT be of concern to Jets fans? I understand Gardner and Wilson are rookies but in low contact practices, they should show off their skills. Didnt Gardner say something to the effect of "I am the best player in the draft"?
  21. Her progress has indeed been nice. She lacks the firepower to make it to the top 3 or win a major but that is fine. She has maximized her abilities and thats what an athlete should strive for. I do like the consistency - that she reached the QF of both the majors this year. In suburbs of Chicago, outdoor courts see sparing use and as such there are few which are well maintained. Quite disappointing to see the lack of interest esp among the youth. OTOH, this past winter, I did enroll in an indoor facility which had 14 courts (!!) and had difficulty finding court time on weekday evenings and weekend mornings. Which was pleasant to see as the courts were occupied by approximately 75%-25% youth-oldies
  22. That was the issue with the Bledsoe-led offense
