The curious case of: Devin Singletary

With our poor run blocking and because we have aQB like Josh, we will never focus on the run game. I believe Allen said that part of our passing game is a glorified running game. I did notice he has been throwing short passes to the RBs and we are getting YAC. Not a bad idea. But I still think we need better run blocking to be able to truly run when we need to -
10/2/22 GAMEDAY Bills at Ravens Pregame Thread

The amount of rain being forecast (light) and 10-15 mph winds won't bother our passing game. Ball security will be very important. Commit no turnovers and play contain in Jackson, we should be in good shape. And let's stop the loser mentality (not directed at you). We lost one game under severe weather conditions. Doesn't change the fact that we are still an excellent team. Go Bills! -
And locker room leader, inspiration for younger players...

I certainly hope so. Or the NFL Sunday ticket works outside the US. I will find out.

Something is indeed wrong with the events after his concussion on Sunday. I hope the NFLPA hires an independent doctor to investigate

Gonna miss the game as I will be on a beach in Riviera Maya 😎

That's what I meant when I later said they have been neutered. I agree that there will (and should be) repurcussions in thev coming days.
-
I am sure they have been neutered

Terrible deep throw by Burrow. Should have led the receiver inside

The lack of mention or discussion of Tuas injury is stunning (On the broadcast I mean)

Only thing keeping me awake is the hope that somehow the Bengals hold on to win

I intentionally started watching late and couldn't "play from the beginning". So I had to select the live option but once that started, the feed has been flawless

Didn't want to start a new thread but given Brown's struggles, I am wondering if we should bring back Daryl Williams and move Brown to G. At this point in the season, we are not going to find HOF players and need to do what we can to shore up the OL. Also on a related note, I see Cowboys got the 40 yr old Jason Peters and he was playing LG in the MNF game. Apparently he is doing well and I wish we would have given him a 1 yr contract this season. -

I thought the instant I saw Dorsey's video that he was not just mad about the outcome as he was about a specific player or two who did not do as they are told/taught/coached to do -
My prediction is that by mid season, the luster on the Dolphins will have worn off. They do have a good defense but their chinks on O will be exploited. It took unreal heat conditions, a banged up Bills secondary and hobbling OL to barely beat us. Lose we did but I don't feel dejected.

Tonight's game was not too bad. Fairly competent play on both sides made for good entertainment. Daboll is doing the best with what he has

2 friends of mine (one a Packers fan and one a Bears fan), both messaged me something similar "who hasnt had such days at work?" and "his reaction is very relatable given the way some days go at the office". Well handled by McD - he handled the situation by telling Dorsey to be more careful and also turned the "bad look" into a positive.

A Few Thoughts About the Dolphins Game, in no particular order
Fan in Chicago replied to Virgil's topic in The Stadium Wall
So imo, it was a strategic mistake to focus so much on TOP and not on scoring. Few things which could have been done: - Seeing the temperature, the early O strategy should have been to try extra hard, including risky throws, to build up a lead in the first half - As players kept dropping off, the need for scoring should have been even higher. Send more WRs, spread sets to maximize scoring - I am not an expert on conditioning, but could the players have been better prepared for the game in terms of hydration? I understand that we were in the sun all day but I would have expected their D to be totally gassed in the second half yet our OL wasnt holding their blocks and their was able to limit our scoring -
NFL Week #3 - Bills at the Dolphins - 2nd half game thread

He didn't have the legs because he spent 42 minutes of clock time carrying the entire O on his shoulders -
He should be unhappy. The O held the ball for 42 mins even though the OL was unable to hold their blocks. Yet we scored only 19. I know it's not a good "look" but I like it tbh. Get the boys healthy and smash the Dolphags the next time
