Sorry son. Mommy and daddy timed this wrong 5 years and 9 months back. -
Are McBeane secretly creating an elite offense?

Let's see what happens the next time we are down two scores late in the 4th Q and have to throw to win, shall we? -

What about the falcons and Patriots games when we couldn't turn on our elite offense and score when needed? Those are the games that really soured me on the O's capabilities and I firmly started believing that the O is very good at some things it does, but severely limited in other aspects. I am glad those games came towards the early part of the season and dampened the undeserved narrative that we are a SB contending team. It is really quite depressing to see us have the MVP at QB and want to force-fit a run first offense with little credibility to the passing game -
Life is long. Death is sometimes slow and painful, sometimes it is sudden /Philosophy mode off

Brady for McDaniels and Waddle.

Is McDaniels next ?

Did the offense look elite against the Patriots and Falcons ? -
There are just so many things wrong with this line of thinking - we have strong armed and MVP at the wheel and not a middling QB who needs a run game to make the O hum - a run focused offense scores slowly and has smaller margin of error - in a scramble drill, lack of strong pass game is a liability - Bills D plays better when ahead and it is much harder to score twice early with a run focused game - a opposing D with strong front 7 immediately puts your O at a disadvantage. Also allows opposing Ds to cheat and stack the box Anyone who is thinking the Bills are better off as a run first and run dominated offense are wrong. Wrong. Wrong.

Certainly not stupid but how hard headed he is will become clear in the next few days.

Well, we hit on an elite QB too but here we are in year 8.... And behind the Pats. This regime should really be taken to task.
-
A rebuild can/should take 2-3 years. The Bills took an inordinately long time. And are still fumbling around with key elements . I see the Colts, Pats turnaround and feel sad

you misspelled corpse

I of course want them to win. And if they play sharply, they absolutely can. But my brain says this will be a loss.

Truly confusing about why his snap count is high. It indicates (frustratingly) that Brady is married to running the football while also being schizophrenic by not using Cook enough in the Falcons game. We seem to want the O identity of a team lead by P Manning in his final season more than one led by a rocket armed QB. And this is where I swiped at you regarding your opinion of our WR. The problem with our O is wider than simply the glaring one of a badly talented group.

I am sure the coaches see it too. Why is his snap count so high ? Cant be just because the coaches want him to block on run plays. The Keon saga is baffling.

Horrible Year To Be Buyers at Trade Deadline
Fan in Chicago replied to BuffaloBillyG's topic in The Stadium Wall
I am not giving Beane his standard excuse this year. We see trades being made every year and we give him a pass with some excuse. But not this year. You aren't wrong but don't you get tired of saying the same thing a million times in every thread you post in? Think something else and post it. -
Very much my feelings as well. The sports depression set in after the Falcons game and has increased with every Patriots win. In the drought years, there was sadness but at least there was "we don't have a QB" to cling to as a self therapy. But knowing you have one of the best QBs in the league and yet cannot show continued excellence on O is really pretty bad. On D, we have some hopes of younger and new players who could improve our D. On O, it is quite bad and gets worse with every injury (Kincaid, Palmer etc). I can't believe Beane is so stubborn and stupid to not know what the obvious holes are.

I have been saying "give the kid some time" and still think we should not get rid of him. BUT this is a very poor look. It is at the end of the game, the rest of the team is paying attention to Coach and this guy is continously distracted/disinterested. This kid better get his act together. The funny boy routine has long run its course.
