  1. His resume was bolstered by the Bills getting him. Other playoffs teams may me thinking "if the Bills think he is good enough to play for them, he is sure to be good enough for us"
  2. I saw that and his face on the sideline after that. It said "the gravy train has come to a grinding halt. I am done in the NFL" Similar to the Lee Evans EZ drop that hastened his retirement.
  3. Or the Cowboys where McCarthy brain f***s his way to a blowout at the hands of the Bills. The look on Jerry Jones' face will closely rival the satisfaction of winning our first Lombardi.
  4. I feel we are arguing for the sake of it. My position is not too different from yours. I am out of this discussion.
  5. Semantics. You are also indirectly saying that his meltdown would count against him. I believe that's what he is saying too. I don't think it would be a show stopper but all things being otherwise equal with another candidate, his past tantrum would cause the other guy/gal to get the job
  6. I also remember what he remembers. That would be detrimental to the overall hiring process and unfair to the candidates. Either each team can start interviews only after the SB or no one can.
  7. Most commuter cars start up every time you want them to.
  8. I will feel dirty (not to mention stupid) betting against the Bills. I mean, what sort of fan thinks "I know the Bills will win but if they lose, I might as well make some money with it"? (Yea, that was a rhetorical question, you filthy gambling traitors)
  9. It will be based on the next opponents strengths and weaknesses and resulting Offensive game plan.
  10. Can you make a similar prognostication for the rest of the season? Please?
  11. Tua wakes from long slumber McDaniels the nerdy fool stinks like fish But the Dolphins are mammals
  12. In related news, post-holidays, I have also rounded into playoff shape but nobody seems to care.
  13. Given his inconsistency in catching passes, I don't want him to be brought back. Second aspect is that we are short on deep threat capabilities, a gap being temporarily filled by Brown. If Davis leaves, we will have 2 openings at the WR spot. I am fine with that as it is an opportunity to increase the effectiveness of the O.
  14. I tagged you because you have been pointing out an area of improvement for Allen - the short and medium passing game. I think he has made progress in the second half of the season.
  15. There is plenty of film to show that MT is what he is ever going to be - a marginal backup.
  16. I am not sure Brown's body and skills are up to the task of being elevated to #2. However, Davis' snap count should go down in favor of Brown and Shakir. Allen has been focusing on the short and medium passing game (which is very good, @Beck Water), but we saw yesterday that the dagger is slammed in with the deep balls.
  17. Story lines aside, the early line indicates that expectations are that the Bills will win handily. Tough to give them an evening slot for such a game. Mind you, all games should be considered as Primetime from here on out.
  18. The Brown catch was fantastic as well, as was the one by Diggs. But the throws were top tier. Long gone are the days when I would see opponents do that and think "we cant we have such shiny things"
  19. Packers had the correct idea of drafting a QB before they needed one. Indications are it was the wrong QB but you cannot fault them for swinging. Imo, Packers should hit the re-set button, trade Rodgers (dont know if his contract allows them to have a relatively painless exit), draft a QB with the picks and add pieces around him. They cannot keep bumbling and stumbling their way on the back of an aged and declining QB. Last night's game was embarrassing in the way Rodgers was trying to heave the ball and hope Watson/someone came down with it. There was none of the precision throwing, controlled offense and swagger. He should have played his last down for GB last night.
  20. Rewind to a few days back just post-Hamlin injury. We collectively did not care what happens in the playoffs including the seeding. Remember that and realize that the way the chips fell were not "fair" most importantly to Hamlin with him getting injured in the first place. I am at peace with not having the bye week and knowing that we won't be in an opponent's stadium for the AFCCG.
  21. I don't know who this Crowder dude is but he needs to clam up about players he knows little about. If he intended to write about Right Josh, he should issue an apology for being callous with his statements
  22. Another stupid question - does "neurologically intact" mean that there will be no long term negative effects on brain function?
  23. Herc11, GaryPinC and Mr WEO have answered this a few pages back. Look for their posts for your answers
  24. If it's fact based, and relevant to the Hamlin injury, keep the information coming. Let the reader decide what to read or not. Much appreciated
