  1. I hate these statements -"everyone" thinks blah blah blah. Everyone? Really?
  2. But they were going up against an OL missing 3 starters. I am not buying any excuses for Frazier
  3. You are not alone. I love the guy. The team will have to go through multiple surgeries thos offseason but he is one of the organs that should be untouched and allowed to heal fully
  4. But he wasn't talking only about himself, he said "guys". Whether that is 2 or 10 or the entire team is not clear. But right after the very underwhelming first drive of the second half, I knew the goose was cooked. The team had looked pretty unmotivated in the first half and if the break did not turn things around, that game was out of reach already. In told my wife, the team doesn't have the fire today to win the game. It was maddening, one of the very few performances of the McD era where the team did not come to play.
  5. Cannot disagree with a word he said. To me, reading all his tweets was strangely cathartic in a way nothing has been since yesterday. In that series of tweets, it is tough to disagree with anything he said. He also sounded genuinely interested in the Bill's fixing things before next season.
  6. I posted on another thread. If Beane finally comes to accept that Frazier is the problem, will McD fire him or tell Beane that you have to fire me too?
  7. I wonder if the next few days will play out like this: Beane and McDermott let the dust settle and avoid the post-battering emotions. Beane communicates that Frazier has been given a LOT of resources over the past several seasons and yet has continually underperformed in key games --> he has to go McD goes Wade Phillips and says "I wont fire him, if he goes I go" Beane decides that is the best course of action for the team I have been saying for at least the past 2 years that Frazier is not the guy to win us the big one. I find it fascinating that Beane "cleaned" the roster upon arrival to build a team which McD and Frazier wanted. And yet 5+ years in, we still got 13 seconds and the absolute disaster yesterday. The NFL doesnt give you such a long time to succeed in the NFL. You have a generational talent at QB - dont waste it !
  8. Just running out the clock and Bengals playing sift with the game in the bag
  9. He played hard every time called upon. And has good yp carry. He was not the problem
  10. Can we stop with the Frazier excuses finally? They did not have 3 OL starters
  11. Makes sense but good luck with it actually happening
  12. https://youtu.be/2cZ_EFAmj08 For singers covering classics, this was incredible https://youtu.be/2cZ_EFAmj08
  13. If his eyes are on a HC position in the future, he will need to climb the ladder. Hence, a promotion will be tough to turn down but I can see him refusing based on the hand he will be dealt with the Jets.
  14. John Brown
  15. My feeling only - The aggressiveness on O seems to be a game plan against specific opponents. Yes, Allen has a penchant for long throws and is the anti-Trentative in that regard. But in some games, it appears that the O has made up its mind to go deep as often as possible. Towards the end of the Dolphins game, they dialed it back and played conservative to preserve the lead. They went air raid early, which is exactly what I was expecting. With a good front 4 on Cincinnati's side and comparatively weak DB (I am looking at you Eli Apple), I expect the same strategy in the first half of the Cincy game. Expect Brown to see a large percent of downs in the first Q, Diggs on crossing routes and only Beasley in the slot. Much will depend on how our DBs hold up against their WRs. If we start winning the early battles, the game should get progressively easier. Lot of nickel on D, pressure from our front 4 only.
  16. Much as I dislike Rodgers these days, I am actually pretty impressed he singled Allen out and in particular the throw to Davis which was just excellent and made to look easy. Allen routinely makes these jaw dropping throws which very very few QBs even attempt.
  17. truth be told, BB being a student of the game, appreciates Allen's football prowess. I bet he thinks, every night, "Oh what fun I would have if he was my QB"
  18. Except that he sucks at the checkdowns and misses the easy throws because he only looks deep 😏
  19. You see a lot of the sentiments on this board also, so why be outraged about the national press? I re-watched Q4 of the Dolphins game and was quite impressed about how we played on O, D and coaching (key timeout). Let it play itself out You are basing your concern on the first quarter of that game? There were stats posted which show that our D improves significantly after Q1. Your later part is more reasoned and thats what I am expecting on Sunday also.
  20. My only visit to London was in 1993 due to a 15 hour layover. I made it a point to go to Baker Street and look at the non-existent 221B house. And I had a pint at a local pub (part of the hop-on-hop-off from Piccadily Circus) . Made the best use of the 10 hours I had in town.
  21. "Allen spent the next two hours throwing dump-offs in front of no one who mattered" Is that why the dude hates checkdowns? Edit @Warcoderedread it first
  22. The OP is wrong. The picks are in favor of them bills. Do you hate it now?
