  1. Appreciate it? Sure Satisified ? Heck no Annoyed by seeing premium FA go to other teams? Yes Annoyed by lack of urgency to help O? Yes
  2. Zeke Elliott is done in Dallas. Post-June1 cut. Its been a busy day and I just read the news
  3. Glad he stuck in "debatably" in there. As a distant observer, I am thinking of Reggie White.
  4. Giants got lucky - they stumbled into this situation and pulled the trigger. They may very well get a couple of good years out of him
  5. IMO, he wasn't an unlikeable personality in his playing days either.
  6. Glad to hear that 1 hr 23 minutes into the official start of the league year.
  7. Lets assume for a moment it is not. The pairing of the personalities of BB and Rodgers will be must-watch theater.
  8. Sounds like an excellent plan for the Jets 🙃
  9. Wow. I need to see verification. "Multiple picks" concerns me but let's see the details if this is indeed true EDIT: I don't see this on Schefter's own Twitter account so it looks fake
  10. Now that it has been decisively proven that Trubisky is not going to be a starter for any team, he can be put those aspirations behind him abd come back to the Bills as a long term backup.
  11. Reading the draft experts on this site, this is a weak draft class. In that case, this would be a very good trade for the Bills. Then they could trade down and pick up the value after round 1.
  12. I agree with this but his future with the Bills depends on what they decide for the rest of the RB room. If the Bills let Singletary go and acquire Henry/Williams, then I think Hines has his place on the team as a returner and a depth RB
  13. I want to read that. As an example, why did SF get so many picks for lost coordinators whereas we got none for losing Daboll.
  14. Yea, if BPA in Rd 1 is an LT, you can take him and not worry about over-drafting an OG at that pick. Heck I wouldnt mind a good LT in Rd 2 either if there isnt a good one at # 27
  15. But the conductor is decidedly inferior as will the resultant music A player-for-player trade is more interesting. I dont know their OL or DL but I wonder if there is one we would like to have in return.
  16. Soooooo.... Understanding that the league year start is still a few days away (and acknowledging the tampering issues), every year we hear about things ahead of the official FA start date. When are we going to start hearing about some action? This Sunday?
  17. My mistake. Thanks. For some reason I thought Geno did that too. Edit :Geno did that too so I was not mis-remembering https://www.sbnation.com/lookit/2013/9/29/4784592/geno-smith-accomplishes-buttfumble-2-0-reverse-buttfumble
  18. Good for Geno. He has persisted, including through all the butt-fumble jokes, and had a competent season last year. This deal does not say that Seahawks are committed to him as "the guy". It covers their downside and still lets them draft a QB who can transition over the next 3 years.
  19. Ms Parton says that as if rain is a bad thing. The first showers of the season are quite romantic and there is nothing like a good thunderstorm to witness Mother Nature's awesomeness.
  20. Literally. I still enjoy a long road trip so I can see the terrain and sights along the way. Similar to enjoying a good Bills season.
  21. Soo.... just because I feel like playing along. What are the cap implications if Diggs is traded? Can any capologist help?
  22. Irrespective of the player, no D guy in the first round.
  23. This is where I am at too. I think he will settle for that AAV and be a Giant for the next 5 years
  24. Daboll got a very good season out of him. The problem with situations is that the Giants could do a lot worse if they didn't retain him. We have been surprised by QB deals for a while now. While $45mil is very high, he will get paid handsomely. Not long ago, the Rams rode a middling QB to hoist the Lombardi. A Mahomes is an anamoly so teams shouldn't always keep dumping QBs looking for the next Mahomes. My guess is that the $45 mil is thrown out as a negotiation ploy, he will settle for something less, possibly back end loaded and will stay with the Giants
  25. Despite the fact that he plays for the hated Fins, Tua is a good man but looks too fragile and unable to take care of himself on the field. Part of me wishes he would retire to protect himself. To use a cliche, there is more to life than football.
