  1. The obvious retort is - we know one who stopped us from winning it all
  2. I see every Bills game so I think if he was indeed interacting with his team mates when things werent going well, that would be on camera as well. no? I doubt that the cameras are intentionally pointed away if and when such interactions do happen. I dont profess to have made a psychological profile as clearly I have the data nor the skills to do so. However, I have seen Mahomes, Brady talk to players on occasion and see that as something Allen does not do.
  3. Is he talking about football here or his personal life ?
  4. Interesting take with psych profiles. I did enjoy learning about them in the past so it's good that you refreshed my memory about them. While I agree with you on Allen's profile, it does mean that someone else needs to fill that role on the field. We have seen McD talk to Diggs. But for the other parts, someone will need to take that in-game motivator role. Diggs ain't the right person as he is more "me" than "team"
  5. I dont know if Allen has it in him to manage Diggs - either through off-field words or on-field chatter. For all the good that Allen does on the field, I rarely see him consoling an O player for messing up on a play, egging on the OL for poor protection or having words with divas like Diggs to calm him down. I would have liked to see some more interactivity of Allen with his supporting cast because he has earned the right to give them a talking-to.
  6. I can go with your assessment and conclude that the overall team is better, but i think marginally better. However, I dont think we have improved enough to pass the Bengals and Chiefs. So, while important to improve, it will mean squat if we continue to be ill-equipped to win against them in the playoffs. Yes, there is the draft but again, the other two teams have it too. As it stands right now, I am less optimistic about the upcoming season than I was about the last 2. (2020 was just a very pleasant surprise).
  7. How is this thread still going ? (Oh right, due to pointless posts like this one )
  8. Stop hitting on her. 😀 Catfish Rising. The last good Jethro Tull album from 30 years back
  9. I kinda like this. We get an instant starter at WR, can draft Campbell at #34 if he is still available and then go OL with our original Rd 2 pick. That will be quite a haul
  10. Yep. It is not just about Allen's contract value but the way other money was spent. Should we have acquired von Miller when that money could have then be used eventually on OL and WR? I think the latter was the better option (and not because Miller got injured). Right now, the FO actions of Buffalo and Green Bay look frighteningly similar. At least Rodgers won a SB with those actions so we can hope for that. But with someone like #17, we should be thinking more along the lines of the success the Chiefs are having.
  11. What is it with this new RB obsession? Why can't McBeane get so unhealthilly interested in OLinemen?
  12. "London Updated"? I got excited thinking of a modernized city and ran to book fights but then opened the thread and was saddened.
  13. The DVR "capacity" is actually unlimited and ridiculously good. As an example , if I series recorded Sunday Night games, they would stay in my account for something like 6 months. No limits To your question that @eballanswered, youtubeTV came with up to six independent accounts with no additional charges.
  14. Yea we both are dinosaurs. My experience was not good either (I only subscribe to TV services during NFL season , August-Feb) I am an Android guy through and through and still think that the YoutubeTV is Google's weakest interface
  15. Why does one need to doubt a rumor? Is this like being unsure of an uncertain outcome? 😇
  16. Which would be the record reminiscent of the Whaley years. For all the sizzle, "process" and talks for building a roster, the only material difference is that McBeane selected Allen
  17. If that stops McBeane from drafting a S in the first 5 rounds, I am in!
  18. Last year, there was a draft competition conducted by BringBackFergy and it was won by Brian3488. I don't remember the rules of that competition.
  19. I did something last year for a competition here and will do it again this year. I will send $25 to the winner's favorite charity. @HOUSE please put me down for this and remind me when the winner is announced.
  20. This is of course conjecture. But set aside your emotions, guys. Paired with Beane, do you all not see multiple SB victories with him as HC and Allen at QB? Half the league will give up the next day.
  21. Maybe the Jets will draft him and pair him in the defensive backfield with Sauce Trade our #27 for the Raiders Rd 3 and Rd 5? Sounds like a very bad deal for the Bills. Especially if its a bad draft, the value of the picks in return are particularly terrible.
  22. Many here have rightfully pointed out the continued need to upgrade the OL. Further, we have not had a back who could get the short and tough yards. The addition of Damien Harris should help in that regard. Allen will never totally give up on running and he should not because it is an important dimension to his game. But used sparingly, it will be even more deadly
  23. If Payton is worried about having adequate WRs, I wouldn't mind trading Davis and a mid round pick (our Rd 3) for Jeudy. But still draft a WR in Rounds 1 or 2. That will be a good WR room.
  24. Take this Gabe Davis discussion to it's appropriate thread. A couple of posts about a different player are fine but this extended debate shouldn't be in the Hopkins thread.
