74 seconds of JA to help get you through the day
Fan in Chicago replied to BillsFan619's topic in The Stadium Wall
"Allen threw a higher percentage of short passes than Darnold, Mayfield and Rosen, according to ESPN Stats & Information research. In fact, 30 percent of his attempts traveled zero to 5 yards in the air." 😜😀 -
Ross Tucker ranks NFL Coach’s, places McDermott at #22.
Fan in Chicago replied to Chandler#81's topic in The Stadium Wall
Ross Tucker just proved himself to be an idiot. You, on the other hand, are better than that. You know its not a fair ranking. -
What are you suggesting the FO guys do? At this point of the offseason, it is easier for coaches to talk to him and "encourage" him to get to a reasonable playing weight by end-August, than to go looking for alternatives (at LT!!) on the scrap heap. If you were making some other point, please elaborate.

Patriots disciplined for violating offseason rules
Fan in Chicago replied to Dablitzkrieg's topic in The Stadium Wall
I would do exactly that but the car speedometers round it to the next whole number (stupid designers). Which of course, pains me as an engineer with mild OCD so I just round up my cruise control to 81 mph. Which of course, Belichick tries to do as well. (ignore my obvious faux pas in comparing myself to BB) -

But that analogy also raises the question about the gray zone - over the speed limit but not high enough to bother a cop. I generally drive up to 10 mph or 15% over the limit (whichever is the bigger number). I have been pulled over once on a highway and let off with a warning. In the Patriots*** case, you have to wonder what that gray zone is and how often they live there. -
Given the short time of actual action in an NFL play, even a few seconds of lag is annoying if you are chatting with someone on, say, TBD Shout box. With NFL Sunday ticket I often found myself 10-15 seconds behind

I expect Google to have done it's leg work such that we don't have any streaming issues.

I dont put much credence on his comments regarding game planning, play design and selection of routes. He should have stuck to describing what he was told to do and then what he actually did/not do. Overall - the entire team was just off, deflated and unmotivated. I dont think any amount of game planning would have overcome that. In a playoff game, you have to come with everything you got. The Bills did not. It was one of the most baffling games in the McBeane reign.

Is the Cigarette Smoking Man still alive?
Fan in Chicago replied to Pine Barrens Mafia's topic in The Stadium Wall
I recommend going back and watching seasons 1 through 6, maybe 7 as well. There were two broad types of episodes - the "mythology" episodes which were about UFOs and aliens. Ran through all seasons. Maybe 4-6 episodes a season - the "Monster of the week" episodes : these were extremely innovative and fun. I still watch them again . About 14-16 episodes every season Mods - move this thread to OTW if appropriate -

A series without Cris Carter as creator and Anderson+Duchovny as agents is not X-Files. Period. Full Stop. -

The character died I think in Season 9 so we are clear to win the Superbowl. -
Josh Allen's a real puzzle

You mean no one will be able to put it together again? -
Quinnen Williams scrubs Jets from his Twitter page
Fan in Chicago replied to wppete's topic in The Stadium Wall
Thats not what I remember. He brought it big time when he was in the mood but couldn't be relied on to be that disruptive force every game. His issue was not one of talent, of which he had plenty. He did deal with some personal issues but even despite that, he wasnt self motivated. I frequently contrasted him with Kyle WIlliams who maximized his output with dedication and effort whereas Dareus did the opposite. -
With the earlier signings and draft pick, that is a lot of WRs coming in. (Giants are salivating)

Those words are forever branded in my brain against one Tim Anderson

Is Josh becoming too commercialized?
Fan in Chicago replied to Tipster19's topic in The Stadium Wall
Or when we had QBs who no one wanted in commercials. Or no one bothered wasting film to take a picture of. Not only do we have a top 3 QB, but the dude is very handsome , a pleasant personality and goofy as heck. Oh what are we going to do? -
A look at the last few pages shows that a poster by name of @redtail hawk was clearly on the other side of the argument.

Sorry if anyone has linked this thread earlier but if not, here it is. Lets see who amongst us rushed to judgment:

Agreed. I am really bristling with anger at the injustice towards Araiza. That girl and the lawyer both should pay for going after Araiza just as soon as it became evident he would have money in his pocket. Scum of the earth!
-
Yea, this is the guy I was referring to.
-
That lawyer who made it his mission to destroy Araiza's career, should be stripped naked in public and flogged with a barbed wire

When you are a Josh Allen, you can pretty much wear what you want. The creamsicle look is quite good, but that teal suit is not well fitting, imo. The guy is a stud and looks it. What i wouldnt give to look 1% like him. Though my wife thinks Mahomes is way "cuter". So perhaps I should be wishing to look 1% like Mahomes and not Allen.
