  1. Oh of course his resume isnt perfect. But he hadn't blown a 1st rd pick yet
  2. Thank you, Mrs FiC for correcting me and avoiding the point I was trying to make 🙂
  3. Oliver has been great all season so far so I expect nothing less today.
  4. Semantics, imo. He isnt on the starting roster all season.
  5. No way to know but I would absolutely love a starter type RT or a speed WR with good hands in return. (yea, I know there aren't too many ones available, hence my wish)
  6. Yep, a rare total bust on beane's drafting resume. A first rounder who cant crack the starting line up in Year 2.
  7. Or maybe McD thinks that coverage scheme and a kinda-fast Benford is good enough to cover Hill.
  8. Sure but it was more a "get him in space" thing and not ground and pound. That is more Damien Harris, Lynch, Bettis than Spiller
  9. Surely, even Satan can't be that heartless
  10. Wait. He thought the auto meant automobile?
  11. I can't take this- Josh as AFC player of the week, Bernard as AFC defensive player of the week now Bass as ST player of the month. When will this madness stop?
  12. This is excellent production by Cook and very suitable for the way this is offense is more constructed. 18total touches per game sounds right with him also as a receiving option. Complemented by Murray and Harris, we have a balanced run attack. He is terrific but I disagree with the latter. 24 touches per game sounds too high because he is much more likely to wear down as the season goes on
  13. Shissh you! I raised my kids imparting a key philosophy - one can never get the best of both worlds. Plus, the multiview is incredible for the time slots when the Bills are not playing I empathize with you - I am going on a short road trip with friends and family, there is a 3:30 am India vs Australia World Cup cricket match and then this Jags game in London. Too much sports, too little time
  14. either your sarcasm detector is broken or I am just poor at it Being a boomer has nothing to do with it. It is a good practice to maintain energy throughout the day. Power naps are great!
  15. On a similar note, I will be waking up at 3:30 am over the next several weeks to see the World Cup cricket matches so my productivity at work is going to take a dip (sssshhh). Too much sports, too little time. I wish I could retire as there is so much to do outside of work !
  16. I wistfully long for the days when the Bills flew under the radar ( to no where in particular), there was no stress of performing on the national state, my schedule was very predictable with all noon games (save for the obligatory Thursday night football game). I hope to tell my grandchildren about those days as they wouldn't have a clue what a loser Bills team feels like
  17. I was torn between WR2 and RT but as I had to make a single choice, I selected the first option. If JA had a reliable second WR option, the impact of a poorer RT is lower. There will be differing opinions on this of course because I can see the reverse - if he had better protection, it allows another player to not help in blocking and be available as a receiving option.
  18. I don't think aQB like Siemian can come in after the third game of the season and make a material difference to the remaining schedule's W-L record
  19. Yea, Saleh has to now play the hand he is dealt. The time to get a decent backup was in the offseason. Heck, Trey Lance may have been worth a gamble for the price the Cowboys paid. Now the Jets are forced to pick up cast away scraps line Siemian. At this point, there arent a lot of teams who will trade a half way decent backup on their roster.
  20. Going with your canine theme, how about St Bernard?
  21. In the past two game, it is really nice to see a nice clean pocket and more than 2 seconds for JA to scan the field. I cant remember the last time I saw such consistent clean pockets. The interior of the line has been very solid.
  22. "If this is wrong, I don't want to be right" 😀
  23. Thanks for that info. But it doesn't negate the OP's points - if we had to spend one less receiving asset to help Brown in pass pro, the O would be even more dynamic and diverse that it already is. While the last two weeks have been more than adequate to blowout the teams, we will struggle against teams built like the Jets D or if we run into a high scoring team with a great pass rush. Undoubtedly, there will be at least one such team in the playoffs
  24. Ryan has a comfortable gig now and I am sure he doesn't want to change that. Just like that commercial featuring Marino, Rice, emmitt Smith etc
  25. His injury looks worse than reported.
