  1. Ferguson more pumped than Allen
  2. Buffalo D playing it's heart out
  3. I worry that some of Dorsey's psycho personality may rub off on Allen, make him more hyper and go against the "low positive" (whatever the heck that is supposed to do). But yea, Brady isn't helping much on the sidelines.
  4. Fournette would complement Cook not start over him. However, I dont yet know if he is activated for the game.
  5. 3 of the 4 teams that beat us, lost their next game.
  6. Thank you, Veterans everywhere. It's never too often to acknowledge your service and sacrifices Much respect and appreciation to these I know of on this forum: @Ned Flanders @MAJBobby @Dukestreetking @Gugny @CountryCletus @John from Riverside @R. Rich @damj @jkeerie @Johnnycage46 @sherpa
  7. The on field demeanour, performance and record is reminiscent of the drought era Bills with Allen being the sole difference. Imagine this team without Allen at QB.
  8. What point are you trying to make? Cos it ain't related to the topic of this thread.
  9. This is fantastic stuff, HH. Cant thank you enough for putting in the effort. Also, you articulated this in a language which a non-coach can understand Few of my notes: - Kincaid is really coming along and the move that led to the fumble is something he will learn from. It was a pivotal play of the game so it hurt us, but he seems to be a bright kid and I dont expect it will happen again - I thought Davis made at least two major errors: gave up on his route down the left sideline which resulted in Allen throwing to no one and drawing a (stupidly called) intentional grounding penalty. And second was a critical drop (cant recall at what point) which was due to him not concentrating or fighting for the ball. Yea, he is good as a blocker but at this time the liability due to not doing his primary job well outweighs the benefits of his blocking - OL was getting overwhelmed yet again, as you noted. Which is incredibly frustrating because Beane added Govern and Torrance to the interior where we had the highest need last season. I cant figure out why we still continue to lack consistency on the OL performance - I am looking forward to Joseph coming up to speed quickly and help the interior of the DL - Apart from the X's and O's, there is something lacking in the scheme which allows quick release QBs to have success. Imo, the pressure has to come from the front 4 allowing the backers and DBs to cover and take away the quick throw opportunties. Why do you think we are failing in this regard? Thanks again, man.
  10. It was a mis-spelling of Perdue. Not sure what you are thinking The thought did cross my mind but he wont be able to get along with McDermott. There is way too much personality clash there for this union to work.
  11. Didn't you just answer your own question?😀
  12. Well and fine that the national media is targeting the Bills, but they don't have "an axe to grind". That term doesn't mean what you think it does #grammarpolice
  13. That is brutal. Seeing the receivers trip over each other, not having routes that cover the field, running into coverage... I don't see the receivers being confident in their route running. No wonder Josh was hitching so many times. This offense is a royal mess right now.
  14. He absolutely is a very good coach. The question is if he can put this team over the top and the answer is trending towards a no, imo. I understand the fear of making this worse but with Allen still in his prime, the chances are low. As for improving performances, coaches like Sirianni and Shanahan did that in shorter amount of time . And they were starting from a lower base than a new coach would with the Bills. If a previously successful coach were to become available (cough,.... Belichick.... Cough) would we not look in his direction and stay the course? Even if that course has flat lined to declining? I have definitely run out of patience. Last year was very tough for the team but the regression we are seeing this year is inexcusable. Imo, of course
  15. I don't think McDermott is exclusively the reason though you may argue he is go root of the underperformance of the team as a whole. I was focusing on the O and hence didn't include that choice Respectfully, the Rodgers-Hackett comp is compelling but in the Bills' case, Kincaid is coming along as a #2 though not an impactful one yet. I am torn tbh but think that a competent OC can make best use of the resources available. I am also not absolving Allen of blame. So far the results overwhelmingly say that the community consensus is Dorsey.
  16. I don't know if that's on Kincaid or Dorsey. I would like to think that being a rookie, he needs coaching on running NFL routes and in this scheme. If his depth of target is low, I have to first look at Dorsey. Anyways, I can't see who voted for which option. what's your top reason?
  17. Sure. Nothing in life is caused by one reason alone. But this poll is about your opinion of the top reason
  18. There are lot of reasons being thrown out for the Bills not performing up to expectations. I wanted to isolate the Offense and get the community's feeling on the top reason. The question is simple - what is the top reason for the Offense's underperformance? Don't weigh in with "its a combination of reasons". I am just looking for your opinion on the top reason. My opinion - it's Dorsey and his schemes.
  19. Two penalties in particular were terrible. One was roughing the passer and then the intentional grounding ( I am pretty sure Davis screwed up his route on that one)
  20. Good post but I wholeheartedly agree with especially these two points. Burrow was getting rid of the ball very very quickly. An adjustment to the D was warranted but we kept giving up big plays at critical times. Incredibly frustrating game. A Bengals fan hosted me for the game and is anything he was being kind to me. I don't know when I will get the opportunity to return the favor.
  21. If he keeps falling like he did today with the fumble, it may happen sooner than later
  22. Bills win 30-24 in a nail biter
  23. Understood. We all have our days. Speedy recovery, sir.
  24. You were expressing lot of frustration in the other thread yesterday and being uncharacteristically salty. That's why I was connecting two things. Guess my attempt failed and sailed over your head like an EJ Manuel pass
  25. But the next person who asks "why wasn't Joseph signed earlier" will, right? 😀
