Russ signs 1yr $1.2M deal with Pittsburgh
Fan in Chicago replied to Process's topic in The Stadium Wall
The issue is that if the rumours about him being a locker room cancer are true, then he wouldn't have a lot of suitors. If there were many teams vying for him he would have gotten more money. If not for anything else, to not have a year on his resume with such a dip in salary. Much like Belichick, the market may not have been as crazy about him being available -
And they will have to pay Purdy in the very near future

Do The Bills Have Enough "Elite" Talent?
Fan in Chicago replied to BillsFan130's topic in The Stadium Wall
We don't have even one game wrecker on D. Oliver is the only one who comes close. On O, besides Allen of course, we don't have a consistent game breaker. Diggs is not consistent throughout the season. So, my answer is No -
Dion Dawkins cryptic tweet UPDATE: EXTENDED PER SCHEFTY
Fan in Chicago replied to Roundybout's topic in The Stadium Wall
Please keep him until a proven LT is on the roster. Have we already forgotten the years and years where we struggled to find a good LT ? Lest anyone needs to be reminded of the entirely obvious point, a LT is critical to the success of a right handed QB. -
25th Anniversary Tailgate Discussion Topic

If SDS declared the venue to be the Canadian ballet, half of TBD would show up including @JÂy RÛßeÒwho will send an apology & Happy Birthday card to his mom with a $10 Target gift certificate. -
Not puzzling at all. Trubisky comes across as a good team mate and smart. It is too bad his in-game performances have been bad. But in the Bills' situation, he is better than Kyle Allen. Depending on how the draft comes to us, I would support taking a 5th round or lower flyer on a QB in addition to having Trubisky. As for his stint with the Steelers, I wonder how much of his awfulness (and yes he looked terrible in the couple of games I watched) was due to the OC Canada and how much was due to his limited skills.

Imagine @GunnerBill's surprise when he wakes up

It's much easier for a FO to follow that strategy after winning one SB. But Bills have to be careful. Esp on the OL which they finally got right. Don't mess with that at this point. We still need depth and a succession plan for older linemen like Morse and Dawkins. So, at least one OL needs to be drafted in April.

Yes, boss. Let me know the dates and I will try my best. To think - we have literally grown old together. -

What a milestone ! I would be interested in a shirt but will be tough to make a trip to the Buffalo area. -
Dion Dawkins Value - Extend or Trade?
Fan in Chicago replied to Warriorspikes51's topic in The Stadium Wall
I would like to extend Dawkins while also drafting a T no later than Rd 5 -
Anyone like me wanting Beane to hurry up? (Cap)
Fan in Chicago replied to SoonerBillsFan's topic in The Stadium Wall
There has to be a blend at each position group 1. You don't know what you have in a rookie. A vet's book on capabilities, ceiling and floor is pretty much written 2. Vet brings knowledge and experience to each group While Beane did go heavy on vets earlier, he needs to blend more youth and bring down the average age of each group. -
Is trading Milano something Bills should consider?
Fan in Chicago replied to All I Need is Hope's topic in The Stadium Wall
No -
So if we pick anything than the best WR left at our spot, we are highly unlikely to then trade up from Rd 2 to jump the Chiefs who will also be looking to draft a WR. Do we really want the best available WR at 32 to go to the Chiefs? This year, with a not premium supporting cast, they won the SB. We have to get out of this D mindset. Need to out gun the Chiefs. Don't over think this, Beane

Update: Free Agent RB's Hitting the Market
Fan in Chicago replied to ngbills's topic in The Stadium Wall
Which of these have the best hands to catch out of the backfield? That and a ~$1.5MM AAV price tag will be a good indication of who we will sign. -
Are we looking at it all wrong, esp. With Josh Allen?
Fan in Chicago replied to SoonerBillsFan's topic in The Stadium Wall
Why can't we enjoy watching Josh Allen and win a Superbowl? We all want to win it all, at least once in our lifetimes. That is irrespective of enjoying an Allen led offense -
So Spencer Brown what say you?
Fan in Chicago replied to John from Riverside's topic in The Stadium Wall
We have to look for 1. Upgrade to Brown 2. Another C/G to eventually replace Morse On offense, the above 2 plus at least 2 WRs are adequate for the offense next season -
Agreed on more weapons on O. I also think the strategy should be to load up on weapons to just score a lot of points. The D then can play a different game. With JA at the helm this team more than any in the past should aim for all sorts of offensive records and points. Naah. Not on board with this plan no matter how can't miss he looks like. Better strategy to take two in the top 3. But I also think another vet WR is needed on this team. Harty , Davis and Sherfield can all go

Allen, the Super Bowl "window," and the KC hurdle
Fan in Chicago replied to T.E.'s topic in The Stadium Wall
The TOP was very high for us. The issue, v as has been discussed ad nauseum, is that we didn't end too many drives in TDs. Even with D talent, we have shown to be incapable of stopping them in the playoffs. That's why I think the solution is to load up on O and just score a lot. You can bet that Reid will draft WRs in the upcoming draft and attempt to stay ahead. We have to leap frog, not just keep trying to catch up
