  1. Serious question - why is Simmons not being signed by the Bills? We are dumpster diving to fill positions in an already weak position group. But still no Simmons?
  2. I agree that Adams is doable cap wise and also provides the vet + stud option at WR. Next year, with more money coming available, the Bills will have more options for the premium positions. They can choose to spend top pick and money on WR , DE (to replace Miller) etc We will also have an idea of where Coleman is trending (up or down) . Adams just needs to be a solid option for next 2 seasons.
  3. The article says dead cap will be $7.5 mm for 2024 and $15.7 in 2025. Imo, both are doable. Adding him makes Bills receiving room (including TE position) as one of the most diverse in the entire league.
  4. That's a good program. I didn't know about it. It is then even more baffling that players do not use this service. Couple of things - after drinking, the first thing to go is judgment so I like @TheBrownBear's post about not taking your car at all. Secondly, it indicates to me that players are really bored in the off season and need something to occupy their mind and body. At least we don't have to worry about our rookie speeding.
  5. Just 40! RIP.
  6. "I am not Gabe, I am not Stefon. I am Keon". Love this guy so much ! Please be a good player.
  7. Just crying and recovering from the burn marks on their hands
  8. Quite tragic and very saddening. RIP.
  9. No. I think someone else needs to be brought in. I am sure the Bills community will collectively jump off Rainbow Bridge if the Bills' season ends due to a missed kick
  10. Yes, the answer will depend on how Ray Davis and Gore play as short yardage and goal line RBs. But I took the under due to optimism.
  11. I am more pessimistic about this season than most of you. Imo, there are a lot of question marks at DB, WR and DE positions to place us in the top 8. A lot of things have to fall in place for the team to have as good a record as last year. Allen can only carry this team so far. If a couple of positions have injuries or the additions don't perform well, this season could be one of the poorest of the Allen era (save his rookie year). I am normally a pretty optimistic guy but this the least hopeful I have felt in the last 4 years.
  12. There once was a boy from Opelousas Who was slower than a snail in mollases When his QB threw him the ball to score The snail reached first and had a snore And the boy was left pining for Macy's
  13. - Hurts needs a good supporting cast to be successful but he appears to be a good guy - Sirianni is an a**hat - The writer of that article needs to learn how to use a spell check feature
  14. If this were to come to pass (in next few months that is), I will buy you a beer
  15. It will be quite ironic if this thread dragged on ad nauseum (And by replying I extended it by one more post)
  16. First of all, the Diggs discussion has covered literally hundreds of pages on this forum and the consensus is that his departure does not hurt much. I am not going to dive into the main reasons. He wasn't a savior these past two seasons, fading away at the end of each. Surprising to see you defending him And no one is annointing Claypool as a savior. I for one still want to acquire a top one. But he has initially surprised watchers by his attitude in OTAs which he doesn't seem to have displayed at his previous stops. That is a step in the right direction. What you are reading is people hoping he has turned it around mentally. It happens in life. A lot. I have personally seen it (not in sports) and have confidence that individuals can indeed turn their life around by mentally re-setting themselves. If Claypool is one of them, and granted it's a big IF, then the overall WR room is pretty good due to the diversity of skill sets.
  17. I was scratching my head at this post But relieved after reading this one.
  18. Too bad about Doyle. He served his purpose on the team well. Does this free up any cap $$?
  19. No kidding . This thread has been totally hijacked.
  20. I am sure he is a high ceiling guy
  21. Are you seriously complaining that a Bills GM is getting media attention (positive)??
  22. Good thinking but that is going to be a VERY interesting division. Imo, Vikings and Bears all added talent. WIth the Packers on the upswing and the Lions also having a good team, its going to become the AFCE version of the NFC. Providing of course that McCarthy and Williams are half way competent out of the gates. But they have ready receiving talent to help them along.
  23. Come on guys. He seems like a good kid. Lets wish for his success (obligatory "except against the Bills"). The league is better with more good QBs and not fewer. It makes games more fun and the league as a whole more interesting.
  24. It's quite strange but a single addition like Aiyuk, Metcalf or maybe Deebo Samuel immediately vaults the WR room to top 5
  25. I certainly see @Captain Hindsight's name in a whole new light now
