  1. What a stressful game. Now on the doorstep
  2. Yep, just saw him. JP playing fantastically. Keeping her cool under pressure
  3. Collinsworth said his depth of target is .... 1 yard
  4. She won the second set after being down 2-0 and break point in the second set!! Tough day today - switching channels between tennis cos I can't stop watching baby Pegs and the NFL game
  5. I wasn't but happy to stand corrected
  6. I wish she would wear some Bills gear or at least say "Go Bills" occasionally. Perhaps she is really intent on not linking herself to her dad as a Bills owner
  7. Yess!!! Go Bills... err... go JP!! First grand slam SF of her. Congratulations!!
  8. She just broke Swiatek in the second set. In the driver's seat now
  9. He is close to 10,000 career receiving yards. Not 25,000.
  10. Whine whine. What happened in the previous two playoffs, Diggs?
  11. You are absolutely defending Diggs. Not only in this thread but in others too. I don't agree that the Bills had to put up with his tiring act. I do agree that the overall roster is much weaker than last year. The mistake was not in trading Diggs, it was in not finding equivalent or better ones to replace him
  12. She has maximized her talent and done quite well on the courts. I give her kudos. I had purchased tickets to the Sunday night session several weeks back. Leading up to that night, I was fervently hoping for a Pegula and Tiafoe double bill but only one of them turned out to be scheduled advantageusly (for me). Tiafoe's game was quite entertaining and the crowd was loud in his support. If JP had played the second game, my vocal cords would have taken weeks to recover. Anyone who plays to the best of her capabilities deserves major kudos as JP does.
  13. If Diggs performed like he talked, we wouldnt be having this debate. For all his bluster and bravado, he consistently came up small in the playoffs and in the second part of last season. A leader performs on his own and earns the right to demand better from his team mates. He faded down the stretch in the past 2 seasons and yet kept whining and complaining. If he kept up his first half season performance for the rest of last season, he would still be a Bill despite his self centric attitude. It is just baffling that you continue to defend him.
  14. And the Bills beat them during their Brady era. What's your point?
  15. If they believe in Pearsall, I wish they would trade us D Samuel this year. But they are going all in this year so it wont happen.
  16. I will be that guy With the roster as it stands today, 9-8, missing playoffs
  17. Am I totally dense? Hamler and Shavers are on the PS. How can they be listed on the depth chart (which I thought was only for the 53 man roster) Tell me without telling me that I am stupid
  18. For a team short on WR talent in most years of the Allen era, I would have liked that last ratio to be reversed. Also, you bring up Benford and there hasn't been an equivalently good player from the lower rounds at WR. My thought is that if a D minded coach wanted more picks in the earlier rounds on D, then Beane should have flooded the lower rounds with WR picks to hope we hit the lottery on at least one a la Benford. He double dipped with Shorter and Shavers, but both were not good enough to make the roster this year. But I have partly hijackrd this thread and will stop now with the statement that I appreciate your points but didn't fully agree with them re:WR
  19. Fair. But I mixed two points in my post. 1. He hasn't hit on many lower picks at the Wr position . Which you disagree with , and I am fine with that but given the lack of top end talent, I would expect more "swing for the fences " picks 2. Prioritizing WRs in the draft, which has been discussed and debated ad nauseum on this board
  20. Just because you asked... Yes, you nutz
  21. Whether we like his signing or not, props to @DC Grid
  22. I was expecting Shavers to make it over MVS but clearly the FO wants the playoffs experience. With Shorter and Shavers both cut, it is clear that while Beane does well overall with the lower picks, that skill doesn't translate to the WR area. For some reason, the entire process of stocking the WR cabinet is a major weak point in an otherwise competent FO.
