  1. It was sarcastic It's true that no one on the current roster will take his job away being injury, but tomorrow will be an acid test for him. I expect the Pats**to take away his throwing lanes. I am hoping Roman has a couple of games plans depending on how the D is playing. Like lot of bubble screens, moving pockets...
  2. All fair points and I apologize if I jumped to conclusions regarding your intentions. But I had detected a favorable bias in your posts re: TT and thought that his article today annoyed you cos it did not fit your analysis. Peace out. I second that wholeheartedly. How do you un-watch something so hideous ?
  3. Sure. But the timing of your post is certainly curious. Also, if you clicked on his article today, did you read it ? What specifically do you disagree with ? I too have seen each and every game this season. Stats are totaly in his favor, but somehow I am not getting a warm fuzzy feeling of consistency with TT. I am willing to attribute it to not having enough experience. But that is exactly the spirit of his article today - its too early to tell if he is 'the one'.
  4. I am pretty sure you wrote this after seeing the title and synopsis of his article on TT. I dont automatically take a pass on his articles, I do read it just to see what he has to say. Most of the times he is wrong. There is little to argue about on his Taylor article today. For all the good that Taylor has done, he appears to be a player of halves. too often, brilliant halves are masked by atrocious ones. I am not ready to buy into him as a long term answer. Just the best we have right now. Is that because it conflicts with your opinion of TT ?
  5. I will freely admit. This poignant story of their demise within an hour if each other has brought a tear to my eye twice today.
  6. They did spend the rest of their lives together. RIP
  7. And you guys better start winning. The Bears are insufferable.
  8. End of the road for him as DC. He is just not a good DC.
  9. Or trust TT to call his own plays when there is a problem with the head sets...
  10. Be that as it may. But unless there is something with health or personal reasons going on, EJ is still the better #2 than the scrub we picked up from the street. At this point of time, in this season, there are no better choices for the backup. So a healthy scratch was truly head-scratch-worthy. Especially when I saw TT hobbling, I was freaking out at the thought of Johnson coming in to replace him. You arent ? okay.
  11. I have met you. I agree with part of your post
  12. Easy for you to say How many of these are out there? We are up to 3 votes!
  13. Only one vote for Fitz says otherwise.
  14. You should have included the coaches in the poll also
  15. Mario has not been a malcontent in the past. If he is unhappy, there is probably good reason for it. Considering how stubborn Ryan had been about his schemes and their underwhelming results, I would seriously question the front office if they get rid of Mario in favor of Ryan's scheme. Mario has proven his worth with multiple coordinators in the past. All Ryan has proven so far is that he is a good talker
  16. Would have helped if you weren't born under a bad sign
  17. Going from under center to shotgun+pistol with more reliance on the run game has helped. But yesterday, his arm didn't look as weak as the early part of the season. So we will see how he fares through the rest of the season, but it's no small feat for a team to be undefeated at this point. And if not anything, PM has not been a liability.
  18. Is it me or does Tannehill look totally disinterested ?
  19. IMHO, Ryan's issues run beyond the absence of a good QB. I am not convinced he is a good HC. as with several past Buffalo HCs, he is a great coordinator in over his head with the top job. But coming full circle, Whaley has to be responsible for hiring him. Or was Ryan a Pegula hire ? Maybe I am jumping the gun here, but as I stated in other threads, the (non-QB) issues I see cropping up seem chronic with Ryan's teams. Issues which will limit success
  20. Come on, man. You have to give him credit for not going into a shell and leading two TD drives ? Or a possible third TD fumbled away by McCoy ? I can understand that he is not a starter but you have gone all FireChan on us in these last couple of days.
  21. As bad as Manuel was in the second quarter, are you denying that the Bills took the lead with him at QB ? Don't get me wrong - I have turned the corner on EJ and now believe he is a very solid #2, nothing more. But to say that he sucked in the entire game is like saying TT was lights out for the entire Titans game. Memories are made by the end result. If the Bills had won against the Jags, the storyline on EJ would have had a rosy tint. Wouldnt have changed the fact that he was terrible for those 5 minutes but would have been excused. For the record, I think TT is marginally better and so should be the starter when healthy. But neither of them are 'the guy'
  22. I don't care about today's result as much as I care about you back and active on this board. Hope you get back to full strength soon
  23. Issue in my mind is that Whaley has chosen one and now possibly two poor coaches for this franchise. Its not just abouy buikding a roster. And one without a good QB. Coaches matter big time. At what point does the Teflon wear off of Whaley?
