Frankly, your obsession and dislike if TT is getting tiresome. You keep hammering this point in different ways, hijack threads and keep trying to make everything about TT. And please don't go on your 'but am I wrong' angle. If you haven't been warned get, you should be

The place to repent for McCoy Doubters

Or you could remind us of how Parker flipped Whaley over and gave it to him in the rear regarding Jairus Byrd. Remember you berating the FO for 'failure' on that negotiation ? How is that turning out for you ? -

Should the Bills move on from Dareus?

Sounds like you are becoming Hopeful again. I wont look at PCs to form an opinion of a man who I dont know personally. His on-field play and dedication to the game will go a long way in showing us if he is capable of turning his life around. Clearly, as is obvious, he is a fantastic talent and can be a totally dominating and disrupting force in the middle. Unfortunately, he has been off the field quite frequently. In a few players, past history is surely a predictor of their future. But others have reformed and led productive careers. It will be a tough decision for a front office considering moving him and frankly I wouldnt fault them for whatever decision they make. He did come into the league at a young age and perhaps never matured enough to put his health and career above recreation. Compound that with the personal events that happened and its easy to see why he ended up where he is. Lets see. I say a decision needs to be made in the offseason when he doesnt have the games to prepare for. His play this season and what he does in his idle time during the offseason will be an excellent pointer to the future. -

Whaley has been a complete failure as a GM
Fan in Chicago replied to Yeezus's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Too often teams are left reaching for a QB because they have forced themselves into a corner over the previous years. The Bills were no different that year. I am glad we got EJ in a trade-down. No way for us to ever know, but he may have been gone by the time we picked again, to a team equally desperate for a QB. For all the trading that Whaley doee, he should have traded for Alex Smith and let EJ develop at his own pace. That was the mistake in my mind. BTW, I also think that picking Cardale Jones was the type of move that the Bills should have been doing a long time back. Using a mid round pick for a prospect. -

Every team in the NFL can point to good spots of talent. Perhaps the Bills have a higher percent than normal. But the inability to make a consistently strong team is a fault and I cant see how anyone can argue against this. I have seen excuses - no one can predict injuries, immaturity, etc etc. But after years of futility, when and how do we turn this team into one without excuses ? -
Sorry, but I'm still going to miss Hogan
Fan in Chicago replied to dollars 2 donuts's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
That he is not a #1 or #2 is beyond doubt. But, are you going to sit there and say that the Bills wouldnt be better with him on the roster ? I have ragged on Whaley for his penchant for not retaining players without an adequate plan. This is another in his line of bad roster decisions. There was a strong concern regarding the Bills WR depth in the offseason and the Salas, Powells of the world were offered as a counterpoint. How does that look right now ? And it is evident that it wouldnt have taken a whole lot of money to retain Hogan. Are you making a case against adding competent players to the roster cos the QB wont use them anyway ? Every position should be kept as stocked as possible especially when it doesnt cost a whole lot extra. -
We needed it but it may bite us

Classy post. -
Not sure if you are being sarcastic but I am not on board with this 'play fast' idea. With our D being unable to get off the field, the last thing they want is to have the offense shorten the game. I realize the effects playing fast has on opposing defenses but that is a risky proposition for the Bills as they are playing right now. First they have not shown the ability to sustain drives. That is Lynn's first job (along with scoring ofcourse). Secondly, the D has enough issues with rotational depth on the D line that being winded compounds the problem. This is similar to the stupid decision by Hackett to start his rookie season and rookie QB with a no huddle offense which didnt have the horses to run it.

To the naked eye, every coordinator will have his strengths and flaws. It is easy to reconcile a coordinator being fired when his unit hasnt been doing very well. But we will find out by mid-season if the flaws were due to Roman or due to the players (McCoy, TT, Clay). And I dont mean the next 2 games - every new coordinator manages a bump upwards due to the opposing team's unfamiliarity wit his schemes. We need to judge Lynn and the offense after about 6-8 games.

The Eagles offense did look good and Wentz looked poised, tough and accurate. I wouldn't mind Reich if he prepares well, has attention to detail and motivates players. Welcome to the board -

That is what was the real surprise to me. I have never been a Bradford fan but his play yesterday, after having been in the system for just 2 weeks was very very good. I will be interested to see how he does if he remains injury free all season. -
493 yards of offense for the Jets ...

Can't agree. Run D was decent but what else was good? I thought Darby had a decent second half and displayed ball skills. -

That's a pretty fair list. I would add Whaley in there for a pretty bare and depthless roster -

Considering that Roman did a decent job last year, I am not ready to flog him just yet. Way too many other things going on to pin all of the offenses problems on him
