Whaley wants Cardale to be 2017 starter
Fan in Chicago replied to HumbleAndHungry's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Thanx. We should walk away from this draft with at least 2 DBs, a WR and a QB. I also think we will draft a RB perhaps Day 3. -

As I don't watch college football, I am interested in your opinion of this year's QB class. Sorry if I missed it in other threads. Who would you recommend the Bills draft and who would be a big mistake ? -

Good you found a cheap solution. I have been using progressives and bifocal contact lenses (for those 'special' evenings). BTW, a doctor friend of mine told me that there is little evidence that excessive computer or phone usage harms the eye-sight. He said there are way too many other factors esp genetics which are stronger. -

Bills have 2 days to trade TT/No cap hit
Fan in Chicago replied to NastyNateSoldiers's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
This will indeed be a poker match. Lots of things on the table: re-neg with TT (reportedly he wont do that), pick up the option and keep him, try to trade him in 2 days, do nothing and let him walk .... As you said, depends on how Whaley plays this game. Can he manage to trade TT for a decent pick or player? -

Heck, KNEEL three times and the game is a wrap -
Indeed and I am not about blacks and whites. It would help to have specific references so we can verify if the coverage was slanted against him or a balanced view of pros and cons. He surely brings a lot of benefits to the offense but the passing game faltered and sputtered. Some of it is on the inadequate receiving corps but much on him as well. Overall, it was curious that TT would say this out loud - he seems to be angling for the bills to pick up his option. Does he really like Buffalo so much or is his agent telling him that there is a limited market for him outside of the Bills ?
-
Sullivan's constant negativity may be grating but, back to the OP, was criticism of TT's play warranted ? I would say that it was based on how he performed. TT doesnt offer specifics of which games or which aspects of his performance were criticized. But, in general, we all saw TT regress compared to the previous season. We all saw his faults continue and not improve meaningfully. If the media pointed that out, how are they wrong ?

Mayyyyybe as a vet and stop gap for max 2 years. I advocated getting him from the 9ers but that was when we were really terrible at the QB position. He is a basic, garden variety, boring, no TD throwing QB who is at best a bridge till a prospect is being groomed. His pros are that he will give you a steady, boring performance. While it wont have highs, it wont have the lows either. Over TT, he will offer more consistency throughout a game but it wont get you the big plays or provide a running threat. To me it depends on the O philosophy that Dennison/McDermott want to install. There is that too. I agree Reid is a terrible playoff coach. -
In typical bombastic Rex Ryan fashion, he proceeds to burn bridges in a league which has a long memory. It is an utterly classless interview which points fingers at everyone but himself and his incompetent brother. IMHO, this act is worse than Marrone's. Marrone left but kept his mouth firmly shut. As he, and every other fired coach, should. Marrone got his chance again. Ryan is pretty much done. I never liked the hire and was happy he is gone. But now I am doubly so and wish no luck to him either.

Yep, congrats to Roger. He played a fantastic fifth set. I do feel however that each of them was very measured and muted due to their respect for each other. They werent as fired up as in their past Grand Slam final contests. Nonetheless, it was a class display by both men. Tennis will miss them after they retire.

All three seasons are on Netflix. I just checked.

Arguably S1E1 is the freakiest one of them all. Black Mirror in general is a fantastic show - rooted in a dislike for technology and with strong emotional quotient. Each story is quite distinct and you never know where it is going. If you want to watch it with a SO (assuming you are male), S3 Episode San Junipero is the easiest to start with. Some excellent writing and direction. The only one I truly disliked is S3E1 cos I hate Bryce Dallas Howard - she can singlehandedly destroy the impact of a good story.

I can see those points of view. As years have gone along, mydislike for Fed has gone down. In the first few years, I thought he was very arrogant and hardly complimented his opponent after a loss or win. Perhaps the last few years he has been more humble and more appreciative, esp of nadal. I liked Nadal right from the beginning due to his fire, determination, play-every-stroke-hard attitude. No matter which side of the proverbial fence you are on, it is undeniable that the longevity and ability to repeatedly come back from injuries must be admired in both men. Their approach and dedication is a life lesson for all of us. If we all lived lives in the way they have approached their tennis careers, we would all be better people for sure. I will be rooting for Nadal but give the edge to Fed based on how consistent he has been with his serve and his low unforced errors. I feel Nadal plays the rallies better but his forehand has been a problem - which Fed will exploit. As fans, the best case scenario is a hard fought 5 setter. Not sure my heart can handle it but hey - thats the fun of sports.
-
I am a Nadal fan too cos of the way he approaches the game and how humble he is off court. AUS open is tough but I record the games when these greats are in the finals. I woke up at 4 this morning and watched the game straight through. What a great semi finals ! Dimitrov has arrived

← The Stadium Wall Buffalo Bills Community » Any tennis fans out there ? What a setup in the year 2017 at the Australian Open Venus vs Serena Williams Nadal vs Federer Total age of the four = 136 years People talk about how committed and driven Brady is. How about a nod to the above four who waded through a sea of young bloods to be in top of the tennis world this weekend. Two of them will lift the trophies but there will be no losers. Certainly not tennis fans worldwide !

Do you truly not see the cause and effect in this situation ? I am a Whaley supporter but acknowledge that he made mistakes. This was one of them. -
Which will make you more depressed Falcons or Patriots?
Fan in Chicago replied to HT02's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
For someone as driven as Brady is, no number of wins are going to be enough. Lets build a Bills team to beat him, not on the hope that he will retire soon. -

I dont care about any other logic. Anybody-but-Pats** I wish I could borrow the DC Tom bot for a single use.
