I am all for roster building but you have to start with what you have, work out the rookie kinks (HC and GM), learn to manage the game, show small successes and then go on to become more ambitious. Starting off handicapping yourself on the talent side is tantamount to voluntarily chopping your hand off without needing anyone to tie it for you.
