  1. One of your very earliest posts was that win or lose, TT will start the remaining games.
  2. I was a RGIII fan in his rookie season and was dismayed to see his skills fall off a cliff. Ofcourse Shanahan Sr started his decline but it is too bad he didnt recover. One thing to check is if the needed healing is physical or mental. Is he damaged beyond hope or can he be coached back to his rookie form ? Can we please not turn every discussion into a TT bash fest ?
  3. Include me in that group. The 1 game suspension does nothing to discourage him from doing it again (perhaps the resultant financial loss of incentives stung harder)
  4. Given what we know about TT's medical status, he has a 50% probability of being right Both could be true in the same football universe, and I daresay it is. Are you the poster formerly known as Leroi ?
  5. No debate - if there is QB you like, take him. Forget every other pressing need. Play whoever wins the battle in training camp. There should be no annointed started going into TC
  6. Who are you referring to ?
  7. As bad as he looked against the Chargers, he didn't do toooo badly yesterday. Lot of dropped passes and stupid play calling in the RZ ( not one run play when you have mistake prone rookie QB at the helm???). Hope Peterman learned his lesson to not throw the ball in the playing field every passing down and when pressured. If he is careful with the football going forward, the O can't be much worse than it has been.
  8. Does the new coach start Eli Manning ?
  9. BB will put Hoyer in now. He wont give the Bills a chance to retaliate in any way
  10. Peterman, please dont throw a pick on this series. Throw a TD
  11. TBH, cant blame the Bills for the net outcome
  12. How the heck did the Bills end up on the negative side of that penalty sequence ???
  13. That 3rd down play was a clear PI
  14. Well technically I-90 does, but depends on where you are driving from
  15. I am certainly not a fan of tanking as the draft results of perennial basement dwellers has been less than stellar. There are other reasons too (and I am sure you have thought of all of these Kirby): - Its about who you draft when you are on the board more so then where you draft. While the success rate of top-10 picks @ QB are better, it is still not a science and recent history has shown that competent QBs can be found after Round 1 - Most QB-hungry teams have a terrible record to begin with (duh) and have had changes to the coaching staff. It is tough for a new coach to sell a tanking season to the fans. See McAdoo - Financially it is a bad choice for the owners and they have to be totally on board to sacrifice a lucrative season in the hopes of future glory - You do face the race-to-the bottom scenario when you may tank and still not be in a position to draft the QB you want Having said all that, this is a great season to end up with a top-5 or top-10 pick, if you are desperate for a QB
  16. Watch it, Scott. McD is influencing your thoughts Question to BBMB refugees - who or what the heck is Crusher ?
  17. Common man, if DC Tom is correct, the answer is Adoree Jackson, Logan Ryan and Byard , their DBs
  18. There is already a thread on Mayfield
  19. Not game balls but a shout out to the rookie class today: - Tre'D White for a great great game - Zay Jones for continuing to show progress - Dawkins for very adequately holding up the LT spot - Milano for hustling and making some good plays
  20. Frankly, I doubt that very much. I really think they fancied themselves as the new Belichicks of the league, confident they can make anyone play in their system and look competent. McD has proven squat in this league save for some spotty DC success. Thinking he could show progress in this season without existing, under contract players was hugely presumptuous on his part. I wasnt too happy since the time he pushed Whaley out. I thought he could be complementary to Whaley's pro-personnel assessment skills and could fill in where Whaley was lacking. Geting rid of him for Beane was an early indication. I lost any little confidence I had in him last Sunday.
  21. Funny thing (and no one is laughing) is that the roster wasnt that devoid of talent before he came on board. Lot of it is self-dug holes which now became a chasm
