  1. Those are some very mature quotes right there. I have to trust McBeane on this pick. There were questions around each one of the top 4, so lets not go around pretending that Rosen was a guaranteed lock for a HOF career.
  2. It has to be expected availability . The 2 concussions must have spooked McBeane.
  3. Is there are equivalent of Bill in NYC as Browns fan?
  4. The suspense is killing me
  5. Have not looked through your other posts. What is your QB ranking ? Rosen , Darnold, Mayfield ?
  6. At least Jay will be off the hook this time, if that were to happen
  7. In the past,I have countered your dislike for first round DBs saying that it depends on the pick and not the position. But in this draft, if we draft a DB or RB before QB, my head may take your cue.
  8. Are you trolling or serious? You aren't doing a good job either way.
  9. As should this thread imo
  10. If the team doctors have cleared him, and i advocate a few more tests before bringing him back, give him one more chance. He has been a good boy since joining the Bills and I believe he has earned some brownie points. I dont really understand the dislike spewed in this thread and would like to see him clear drug tests.
  11. What if crazy Belichick dangles Brady as trade bait?
  12. Depends on how healthy he really is. Will he be as 'available' as McD wants his players to be ? Really wasnt a factor in his time with the Bears. Low draft pick is fine if we want to take a flyer but I honestly dont know his $$ cost. If BADOL is correct, then $2.7 MM sounds too high.
  13. Not every random thought deserves a thread
  14. I agree - these past couple of weeks in particular have been pretty bad.
  15. A full seven out of the top 9 posts on TBD right now are about Mayfield. He is certainly not being overlooked on this site.
  16. This particular rumor may be tough to believe but it's no secret that Beane is making calls. Good thing is we have 1.5 farms this year so if we give away a farm, we will still have half left.
  17. Which is why you grab one even if he doesnt fit the 'perfect' mould. A franchise QB is a broad enough term that it neednt always be equated with greats like Rodgers or Brady or BenR. A above average QB with a strong team around him can also win, as Foles did. Ofcourse we want the Bills to trade up this year when the crop is good and we have the ammo. BUT ..... Lets say worst case Bills are unable to trade up to get the QB they want this year, I would seriously consider setting ourselves up for a trade-up next year by trading DOWN and acquiring first round picks for next year. I really hope this doesnt come to pass but have to think longer term and not grab a QB just for show.
  18. I generally equate "priority" with the top 3 rounds. If one is picked up in, say, round 5, that would be a low priority pick up. And one I would want the Bills to consider.
  19. But you said this is the year of the QB. I agree. With that said, you shouldnt get rid of an above average performer cos you want a Kuechly. That may be for next year. Cover your bases with your own FAs
