  1. Romo pointed out that the bottom 4 in completion percentage are the 4 rookies
  2. There is a difference between adding talent versus cutting good players. How many players cut by these teams have gone on to make other teams better ? The Bears really didnt have a good roster and blew it with several top draft picks. I think the OP's point is that teams such as the BIlls (and now Raiders) are cutting players who are good with the 'doesnt fit the scheme or process" excuse. Think Woods, Glenn, Dareus, Watkins. The fact is that the current regime has gotten rid of players who could have helped the Bills a lot this year.
  3. I couldn't tell if the OP was serious or not. But , yours is a great post. You should keep trying harder Tbh, I have no idea what complementary football means. Is this another fad word like "optics" , "sideways" ?
  4. It passes time and I do it frequently. But fun ?? Absolutely not.
  5. You say that like it's a bad thing right now
  6. If I am Reich, this is 4 down territory
  7. An int is the only thing that will help right now. The D had no push, looks confused and probably too winded
  8. Yep. This looks bad right now. McD better get him team together
  9. Anderson looking competent but he needs manageable distances
  10. Making up for his two unexpected catches
  11. I know too early but that is Pretty much game over
  12. Dang. I thought it's incomplete pass but he took two steps. Fumble
  13. 2 catches by KB..... In the same game
  14. Sorry but there is no evidence of that. Also, even if I assume thats true, isnt it the coach's job to get the best out of his players ?
  15. Would have loved to see Mack lay the wood on him
  16. There is a dearth of OL talent around the league. You keep the good ones and get to where you need to go with other resources e.g. trade up with future picks. Glenn is a very good OT and we would have a pair of great bookends which would have made Allen's job much easier. At a minimum he wouldnt get as beaten up as he has. Besides, the run game would flourish further reducing pressure on the passing game. That non-penalty was really really egregious.
  17. My point was that one of the coaches job is to get all sorts of personalities to work together with the singular goal of winning games. They need talent (Dareus, Watkins) or hard working (Woods). Coaching is so much more than game planning and schemes. McD certainly displays a lack of patience with players who don't come in with built-in 'process acceptance'. He is not going to find the likes of Kyle Williams at every position.
  18. Well said, Dave.i think back to Phil Jackson and the Bulls. He had to manage an ego maniac like Michael Jordon, a horny weirdo like Rodman and the nice boy Kerr to win multiple championships.
  19. The issue (one of them) is getting rid of players without an adequate contingency plan and lack of effort in securjng credible alternatives. You can reconcile away individual players such as Darby and Dareus but they chipped away at the roster. Goodwin, Woods and Watkins all together were very good. We should have retained at least two of them. They would have undoubtedly helped Allen and eased his learning. This point cannot be debated against.
