  1. Wait for the "he doesn't need to be at camp, he can just show up for the games and dominate" posts.
  2. Looking at the best's every snap from last year, being early to the practice field, learning from Kyle, posting humbly..... I love it.
  3. Patience. Sept 8 is just round the corner
  4. I wanted to put (a little) money where my mouth is. And ScottLaw took the bet too. I contend that the Bills are a better overall team at this point- players and coaches together
  5. My wish is that he is sacked, intercepted and beaten into retirement. I want him to retire because his skills fall off a cliff after repeated hits by the Bills DL. That way he will be remembered for having whimpered into retirement as opposed to having gloriously ridden off into the sunset.
  6. Seriously? How about a small bet? $5 says the Bills end the regular season with a better record than the Jets
  7. So, after these changes to your initial post, do you still think that the Jets as an overall team, is better than the Bills ? Which is your post's title. Comparing 4-5 players (of which the most important one may be equivalent) does not equate to comparing the overall teams.
  8. How does this: "Mayfield told ESPN that before draft day, he didn’t know he was the Browns’ pick — and that he actually thought the Browns were going to pass on him, and the Patriots would trade up to take him at No. 2 overall." bring about a discussion of him possibly being a douche bag? He did not say he wanted to be drafted by them. In fact, he is being marginally modest by saying he didnt expect to be picked #1
  9. They played a fantastic game. Didn't lose their cool and made up for the average batting performance through superb bowling and Fielding. I am thoroughly disappointed that India lost but they were clearly outplayed, especially today.
  10. Besides several great ones already mentioned in this thread, Jethro Tull's Live at the Isle of Wight and Bursting Out are very good.
  11. Good time to bump this thread. The semi final opponents are set though the exact matchups will be decided by this weekend. The four teams through are Australia, India, England (only seed to be set at #3).and New Zealand. All teams have had their highs and lows though as the tournament progressed, NZ and India appeared to get weak and England heated up. The NE Pats** of cricket, Australia, look to be the most calm and composed and IMO the tournament favs. Too bad the semis will be played on weekdays thus clashing with US work hours. My picks , including projected seeds: - Aus over NZ - England over India Finals Aus over England
  12. When it comes to Tommy boy and the Pats**, are you surprised there is no video ?
  13. Egads ... you are partly responsible for the Brexit mess ? ?
  14. It depends on how he performs in a contract year with a solid interior DL. Also depends on how Murphy does and who else would be available in FA market next year. If our pass rush is anemic again this year despite a solid middle DL, good LBs and secondary, then Lawson will not be on the Bills and the team will look for a better pass rusher/EDGE. At this point, too early to tell and perhaps mid-season we will have a much better idea.
  15. Talent and (execution of) strategy will trump culture. GM Levy had culture, Jauron tried culture and both with terrible results. As in business, so with sports you absolutely need to set a strategy and have the horses to execute it. Pats have strategy (read: coaching) and add talent that fits that plan. The culture just comes by with all the winning.
  16. Yep. Imo, Giants should have gotten one of the 2018 QBs. But this early chatter out of their camp regarding Jones is mildly amusing.
  17. Don't underestimate the power of a GM's ego. Gettleman may pressure Shurmur into trying to prove him right. Not saying it makes any football sense at all
  18. I would never strike a woman, and I know I wont have much support for my choice, but I cannot stand this lady's face
  19. Yes it has been a golden era. I have been watching since 1979 and cant remember such an extended period of top level competition due to the 3 all time greats. No matter who ultimately gets called the GOAT, the other two wont be far behind. Indeed all have said that the others have pushed them to greater heights. Fans like us can just sit back and enjoy the thrills they provide. Consider - its the year 2019 and still they are three of the 4 semi finalists at another Grand Slam.
