  1. Chan Hailey coaxed out of retirement to be OC of Phins https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/chan-gailey-reportedly-comes-out-of-retirement-to-be-dolphins-oc-bodes-well-for-fitzpatricks-future-in-miami/amp/
  2. Makes me want to shed a tear. Boo friggin hooo. Hope the next coaching team screws them up even more
  3. Tough as it sounds, I wouldn't roll the dice. We have been burnt way too many times in the past when higher impact players were still on the board. Also look at the Giants. When they picked Barkley, I was of the opinion they should have picked a QB instead to take a smooth handoff from Eli. In retrospect, did Barkley affect their overall O performance enough ? It was a QB rich class, and the Giants would have been better served picking a Darnold, Allen or Jackson. So, as much a weapon that McCaffrey is, it is a safer choice, at the time of the draft (and not in retrospect) to pick a player at a rarer position of general availability.
  4. Do not draft a RB in the first round. Ever. Period. I don't care who that player is. Use the first pick on a DE, WR or OT.
  5. Along with an equivalent brain. ? Not to mention the D players on Hapless' post above
  6. Please please let the Bill's NOT be the playing the night game on Saturday. I am going for a good friend's 25th wedding anniversary party which starts at 6.30 PM. I hope they play on Sunday!
  7. Stars are lining up just fine for a good playoff run.
  8. Not quite my point. BB saying that he doesnt know how many starters he has is equivalent to deflecting the question. Perhaps a better posed question may be "will you rest few of the critical players". He very well knows what the real question is, yet chooses to provide these dense replies which he thinks implies genius on his part. He is undoubtedly a great coach but not a good orator.
  9. Pfft . Does he mean to say that Brady, Edelman, Gilmore etc are clearly not the "starters" ? Sounds brainy on his part but really is BS.
  10. Russell Wilson and Ben R aside, there are no QBs (to my knowledge) who have led their franchise to a SB victory by their second year. So keep that in mind while you evaluate Allen. Everybody and their uncle and aunt on this board agree that Allen is a work in progress but he has developed really well from his rookie to second season. Do you disagree ? Last night you saw how a great QB (Rodgers) also struggled to make some throws which, in the past, he would complete with his eyes closed. Yet, he did not look as crisp perhaps due to the newness of the offense and lack of playmakers. My point is that even the great ones need a strong supporting cast. Against NE, Allen was not very good for sure. But an inaccurate QB does not throw those two TDs. I would be more agreeable with your post if we add O receiving talent in the offseason and are still sitting here a year from now contemplating Allen's issues.
  11. Are you also astonished at his two TD throws or naah ? Are you impressed by the OL blocking which allowed pressure in his face for most of the game ?
  12. This is crazy good. Now keep the lead for the rest of the game
  13. Warner , so it's okay to pick if they always do it ???
  14. Mr Warner, any thoughts about Allen on that drive ?
