Its clear Tua is not ready. In a season when the rest of the team seems good enough for the playoff spot, Flores should have stuck with Fitz till he again regresses to his pick-throwing ways. My sense is that Gailey has crafted an offense to keep him out of those situations. Flores should never have named Tua as a starter before he was ready. Its tough to plan an offense and game plan in general with a constant switching of QBs with different styles

We keep him till there is a better option. I dont like cutting players (not named Kelvin Benjamin) before we have adequate replacements. That said, Knox's drops are concerning especially as we are now talking championships and not just division wins or playoffs. If a past-great TE with couple of years left in the tank comes available (no one comes immediately to mind), then I would grab him in the offseason as a short term insurance policy in case Knox still has trouble catching.

The Pats** have, in general, done a poor job of succession planning and not just at the QB position. As it stands right now, they won't have a chance at the top QB picks in the draft. Plus, the Tannehill story with and without Gase should make Darnold a fairly hot commodity in the used QB market. With both these factors, Pats** are highly likely to pursue him. The other likely reclamation project is Wentz but I think he is unlikely to regain what little form he showed early in his career.

With Steelers playing the Colts next and finishing with the Browns, another win looks highlu unlikely given how they played last week. The Bills seem to have demoralized that team in the second half. Titans are playing the Packers so its likely they lose too if packers can stop Henry. Onus is on the Bills to win but locking up the #2 seed looks like a distinct possibility. As well as the Steelers have managed their roster over the decades to always remain relevant, they have not done enough for a succession plan to BenR. Unless they engage in a reclamation project for someone like Wentz or Darnold, their winning ways are unlikely for the next few years. Its surprising how they depended on BenR's arm this season as opposed to putting emphasis on the run game and going easy on the aging QB's arm.
