  1. That's must have been bloody embarrassing to the team
  2. Funny you say that because after the game I was thinking (without shame) that "that game looked similar to a lot of games the Pats** used to win in the playoffs. Even when getting seemingly dominated, keep your cool, minimize mistakes, make critical plays on offense, great in-game coaching and pull off the close games"
  3. Dont forget ball security. All things being equal, the surest hands against multiple-men tackles will play.
  4. Indeed. Not to forget the efforts of his supporting cast - on that one drive before the half, Davis' 2 toe drag catches were briliiant. Combined with Diggs' usual 100+ yard game and key catches by the as-yet injured Beas and we have a winning combination.
  5. There was some seriously jaw dropping plays going on from Allen. Needless to say, without Allen at the reins, the Bills lose this one by 10+ points.
  6. We were certainly not playing complementary football in the first half (at least). A 25+ yard differential in field position was hurting really badly on both sides of the ball. The #of plays delta correlated with this. If it wasn't for that phenomenal drive prior to the end of the half (read: the Allen-Davis show), this game would have been unsalvageable in the second half.
  7. Insurance policy with the expectation that we are going deeper in the playoffs. We don't want to be short of RBs right before the Superbowl
  8. Lets just call it incompetence and be done with this discussion. Sometimes the simplest of explanations is the correct one.
  9. Post game analysis he was miffed that the refs blew the non-fumble call
  10. Hitting that pressure kick from that distance in the playoffs was fantastic. It will serve him well in future situations
  11. The clock hands are not moving fast enough
  12. So Rivers will be in his parka and gloves for the game ?
  13. Me neither. Restless sleep and woke up before the alarm went off. Which doesn't happen for me
  14. Yea. I took "her" advice and drank but still didn't get a good night's rest. Let's go, Buffalo!!!
  15. Thats very good news. I am going to guess that McD plays him sparingly, depending on how the game is going.
  16. Good catch of my poor grammar. See what being wired does to you ? 😁
  17. Truth be told - seeing how wired I have been, she suggested getting drunk and passing out so I can wake up late tomorrow and shake off the hangover by game time
  18. I sure hope Texans are not stupid enough to trade a young player who the new staff can build around. I can understand trading players to build up draft capital but a QB, and one who has performed so well with mediocre supporting cast, should not be one of those chips. Look at players like JJ Watt instead. To re-iterate, you do NOT trade away a good QB who may not even have hit his prime yet.
  19. Diggs at 100% + Beas and Brown at 80% + Davis at 100% + McK = Crisp Colts Toast Allen will sit back indecisive because he wouldn’t know who to throw that tD pass to
  20. If true, it would be ironic considering who he "rushed to the podium" to pick in 2010 😐
  21. I hear you and @Billsfan1972. We fans are just not used to such praise and optimistic predictions. We hence naturally start to worry and temper our own expectations in preparation for letdowns which have happened way too often over the past decade. I felt that way before the past 5 games but now have come to realize the composition and coaching of this team is far different than in the past. We are truly playing complementary football but led by the red hot offense. As others have commented, we also match up well so this should be a decisive win for the Bills.
