If it comes down to a question of money, I prefer cutting John Brown, drafting a speedy+reliable hands WR and using some of the saved money to get ourselves a good, veteran TE while we give Knox one last season to prove himself
TMI
We shouldn't give up on Knox for perhaps another season but he should be a #2 TE until he proves otherwise. For now, the returns aren't great so Bills should definitely be looking for a more reliable TE even as a 2 year rental.
I am not advocating Ertz at $8 mm/year given the past seasons stats. But also saying that the team doesn't have the luxury of waiting for yet another year for Knox to make an impact. And I really hope Kroft is kicked out last year
To make matters worse, he used to root for the Pats** until this year when he rooted for Brady to win it all and "stick it to **** Kraft".
On an unrelated note - Nobody accused me of having chosen my friends wisely
Do we know each other ? That is one of my guilty pleasures.
Imo, the first part of your name needs to be changed from past to present tense. 😀
And dont you dare judge me for my opinion of you.
You and I need to have a drink together.
A friend of mine chided me once for saying he shouldnt put Coke in a nice single malt whiskey. He said "why should anyone tell me how to enjoy my single malt?"
Your thoughts on his opinion ?
Takes time to reach GB because there is no highway for the full trip. But still not 5 hours. You can get to GB from downtown in under 4 hours
As for WI, you can hit the border in about an hour from downtown Chicago. Depends on where in WI you are going. The northern parts may take up to 6 hours as the local roads really drop the average speed for the trip.
I care more about the second part. If the answer is yes, McBeane should acknowledge that they will have to relieve some self-imposed "process" constraints to win the big one. As long as said self promotion doesnt hurt team chemistry (and I think the overall team makeup will temper it), we should absolutely be turning every rock to fill in the key pieces which will help us win it all. Pass rush is a clear need - we saw the contrast in Mahomes play facing said rush (bucs) and not facing one (Bills).
I would absolutely love to have him on the Bills even in a rotational role. To save his body, the coaches can give him a lower number of snaps in the regular season and play him more in the playoffs. His fire and experience will be invaluable to the team
Bumping this thread cos Pegula Jr won a second round match at the Australian open

Filling holes with strategic adds is not the same as building entire team with hodge podge FAs.
As an example, would you say no to a Patrick Peterson for one year ?
