Rodgers Disgruntled with Packers

As in personal life and work, you eventually come to the realization that there are certain people you just cannot make happy. At that point, I eventually to cut bait as my life is happier and more productive without them in it. -
Do you trust this Front Office?
Fan in Chicago replied to Royale with Cheese's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
If the pick is at a devalued position, I won't be happy. In related news, I love my wife but it does not mean I am happy with each and every thing she does. -
BPA at DE-->DT-->LB/S hybrid-->CB In that order. (Yes I understand the concept of BPA but I advocate a more practical application of that strategy as opposed to a slavish adherence)

Can you provide more information about his past mocks re:Bills. Not trying to be snarky. If he has said in 2018 that the Bills are looking for a QB, big whoppydee doo. But if he made less predictable projections and then they came true, I will give him more credence . But it looks like several mocks have us taking Etienne and I am in Bill in NYC mode and pre-emptively moping. I would absolutely dislike the pick due it being a RB and with our Rd 1 pick.

McShay- Bills trying to move up above 23 for Etienne
Fan in Chicago replied to Reed83HOF's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
If true, this will be a mistake bigger than the ones made by Donahue (Willis) or Levy (Spiller) considering the league's offenses today compared to those times in the past. We need more help on D and it will be tough to do if draft picks are given up to move 6+ slots. Use the #30 or trade up for DE, LB or DB. Maybe DT if a good one is the BPA. -
What is your guess at a price tag for a "game manager" versus a top tier QB? I dont entirely agree with your presumption of him being a game manager alone. But even if he was labelled as such, his value to the team exceeds any such categorization. If he is the undisputed starter (which of course he is), can win games consistently (which he has), has a decent head on his shoulders (maybe, but not too bad) and can be the face of his franchise for years (IMO he can), then he will command top 5 or worst case, top 10 money.

I think it is a problem. My guess is Beane wont pick up the option and see where the proverbial chips. Lots to consider such as who is drafted, how Edmunds performs in his prove it/no excuses season, what the FA crop for next year looks like etc. I am guilty as well. As to the OP, Browns made the right choice w.r.t. Mayfield.

Alex Smith announces retirement

Good decision. Enjoy retirement! I don't know is analytical and oratory skills else he can have a Romo-like job. -
Jayson Oweh DE PSU my first round TGT.
Fan in Chicago replied to MAJBobby's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Absolutely agree with the need for an impact pass rusher. I think DE/EDGE is one of the top 2 priorities with the second being DT. I will be sorely disappointed if we walk out of Rd 3 without a DE. As for Epenesa, my point was that it is too early to say that he will be no more than an average contributor. We all hope we get Game 1 impact players in rd 1 and 2 but it is not very common. Hence, give the kid another season and lets see if he can improve from his underwhelming rookie season. -

Its too early to judge Epenesa. We should know better in this upcoming season. IMO, players drafted at the bottom of the 1st round/2nd round should be given 2 years. -

Yea, cos only Allen benefited from the lack of fans. I can understand homerism, but man this is a stretch! Tell him to wrap himself in denial inside his Tua blanket -

Darnold to the Panthers
Fan in Chicago replied to 17islongenough's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
That's one cheap trade! To think that just 3 years back he was thought of as the #1 overall pick in the draft. -
Not just film (!) , a friend who is a Bengals fan was positively ecstatic that some team took Hart away. About as scientific as that statement gets, but he thought Hart was too terrible to even be a backup

I doubt that the Bills will bail on Moss so soon. He is also a hard runner so perhaps the Bills are looking for a speedier back. They set the floor by getting Breida. Singletary though is in a weird place for the Bills - bad sophomore outing at an undervalued position. There is little return they can get for him. The question returns to the source of the problems with the running game. If the FO believes in Ford and adds a C/G in 2nd or 3rd round, they may think about giving Singletary another year. But I do agree with BADOL and others - tough to argue in favor of drafting a RB (any running back) at #30 when we can use help on the lines, LB and CB position. If I were to guess, the Bills wont draft a RB till round 5 or later cos they think they have adequate quantity and variety at the position now. Spend the top 3 picks on one of the above positions or a S/LB hybrid.
