  1. I am trying to figure out what your thread title means Lightfoot is correct though. Only an inept owner would move the stadium from it's current location to Arlington Park. The Bears should have done a better job of posturing.
  2. But if emphasis on throwing the ball is resulting in picks, in non contact practice, it is a matter of concern. OTOH he wont throw and is super conservative/indecisive. Which by itself is a problem. Now when he is being coached to get rid of it, he looks like Peterman, that is compounding the concern. Sound to me like he has a big problem in making decisions - either he doesnt chuck it at all or is incorrect. He doesnt have the "rookie" excuse either. Bears watching as this off season progresses, to know who the bills have to worry about (or not)
  3. Not spectacular by any means but steady and does his job with minimal fuss. Good mentor for Basham, Rousseau.
  4. Someone should define "backup QB" to Mr Morrissey. I have no idea why he is so bitter towards Trubisky. He didn't work out for the Bears but he was a stand up guy, didnt complain about the staff or FO and worked hard. Difficult to understand the reporter's obsession cos of which he closely followed reports about the Bills' OTAs and proceeding to bash Trubisky
  5. One of the best throws and catches of the past season. Would have been all over the highlight reels if not for the way the game ended.
  6. Hope its not because Rodgers continues to be the drama queen.
  7. If you think he has to hop over a hurdle, it can't be that big
  8. Welcome back, sir. You haven't been posting enough.
  9. I got the sarcasm but you should realize The Dean's history here.
  10. I came away with the same feeling after reading his responses. It seemed like some questions were baiting him to talk badly about his time in Chicago but he took the high road. Very good interview and comes across as a very mature person. He may not ever be a great starter but he has shown enough on the field to have a long career in the NFL. Todd Collins, Alex Smith come to mind. Glad we got him even if as a 1 year rental
  11. Top 10 as the top-100 includes Defensive players too.
  12. I am (genuinely) curious. What growth did you see last year? I posted actual numbers earlier which show that his catch%, total yards, total TDs did not change meaningfully from his rookie to last season. He has not been the safe outlet which young QBs like Allen need. TE has been a problem position for the Bills for almost 2 decades now. We dont know what a decent TE can do to an offense, let alone a good one. To your high ceiling point, his lack of growth has me questioning that point and his effectiveness has not come across yet. If he magically (or through focused effort) pulls a 3rd-year-Allen on us, I will gladly come back to this post and eat crow.
  13. His two years have resulted in 50 targets- 28 catches - 388 yards - 2 TDs followed by 44-24-288-3 Neither the stats nor the eye test say that he has improved or has potential. His catch percent is about the same and that production can be obtained by any random dude not named Kelvin Benjamin, Zay Jones or TJ Graham
  14. Yea but I thought those are the teachers and Knox would be the one applying for admission
  15. Admission threshold is really low
  16. I wonder what his final achievements need to be to displace the current front-runner for GOAT. One more SB win than him? 5 Superbowls + better stats? I dont know the answer and only history will tell eventually. A tennis analogy comes to mind - how many Grand Slams does Djokovic need to win to be considered the GOAT over Federer/Nadal? Equaling their record wont do it for ND.
  17. Though not technically in Buffalo, north of the border isnt too far away... (see my post above)
  18. No recommendation for Sundowner? Come on, guys! @USCGBILLSFAN if you can visit Canada, allow me to recommend this fine establishment. Of course depends on what your SO feels but it can be a cozy couple outing (from my experience, I can say it is a great "appetizer" if you have your own "main course" 😁)
  19. Ink? White background? Good you didn't say papyrus. You old fogey! Imo, the contract will be longer duration. My guess is 7 years/$300 million. I don't have any guesses on the guaranteed amount
  20. By "out of the league", I meant retired and beyond consideration by any team. What's next- Rex Ryan being considered for an NFL HC job?
  21. With his lax attitude, I can't believe he is still in the league
  22. Hope Kirby Jackson comes out of his self imposed (?) exile for this one
  23. Let me leak a schedule to you: Feb 13, 2022 Bills vs Bucs
