That reads like a Fibonacci series /nerdmodeoff

That contract was signed on Monday and hand delivered by Coleman.

Samuel hasn't shown much. Injuries are part of the game and I dont think we should bank on the hope that he will be injury free and contribute in any big fashion. Also, too early to tell if Coleman can show progress. Coleman is seemingly putting in the offseason work, which is good, but whether it translates to on-field success remains to be seen. In short, we have two proven WRs and two who are questionable in their ability to contribute significantly. We need at least one, maybe two more additions.

For Pickens? Please let's not

DK Metcalf traded to the Pittsburgh Steelers

Pickens' attitude bothers me. I dont think he puts in the effort on every down and may pout if not given the targets. Loads of talent though. -
Bills choose not to tender Morris
Fan in Chicago replied to Dablitzkrieg's topic in The Stadium Wall
Ty made some excellent plays in the receiving department but that highlighted the lack of talent at that position If we get 2 good WRs (trade + draft) then the need of a Ty Johnson to be a receiving threat goes down. The primary back should be that option -
Dorion Williams youngest LB in league this year to lead in tackles
Fan in Chicago replied to DJB's topic in The Stadium Wall
Bernard took a jump in his second year and Williams is trending upwards also in his second year. It will be nice if Buffalo Joe does the same. -
That's entirely immaterial cos results are all that matter. We lost in the AFCCG , in a year when there was a lot of roster upheaval. You call it a disaster cos the player choices didnt match with what you wanted. Again, results say differently

If it was our best finish in 5 years, maybe the off-season wasn't a disaster as you proclaim?

Excellent, HOF worthy career. Enjoy retirement, JP

The biggest problem in our defensive backfield was losing Benford early and having to replace him with 15-yard-cushion-Elam

McD knows the details so I don't mind his comments about Coleman. He is a kid and likely got carried away with all the media and fan attention to his early press conferences. And that's what McD is referring to - put a lot of effort in what brought you here (WR skill and potential). Year 2 is when we truly judge the picks. Will he put in the effort? Can he overcome the limitations in his game? I am not at all writing him off yet.

I am a Bills fan first, then a Josh Allen fan. If he chose to go to a team with an easier path to a Superbowl win in the next few years, absolutely I would not like it. If he won a couple with the bills and then did a Brady or Manning move to a Superbowl ready team when he is 40, I wouldn't mind that

Free Agents we like for the 2025 Bills?
Fan in Chicago replied to Desert Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall
Imo, not really because I seriously think we should put all chips in for this season. Don't worry about a slight over pay in terms of draft capital. We will still have a first and second rounder to play with. More perhaps if we trade some current players like Kincaid, Milano. Much action to be done but even as a standalone decision , I would like to acquire a stud like DK -
You say stupid many times here, but the reasons for getting rid of Lynch were all about his off field issues and the likelihood that he would do something massively stupid to be hit hard by the league. The fact that he later kept his nose clean is hind sight. That situation is nothing like the one with Cook who is a clean guy off the field.
-
Milano is of course fantastic when he is healthy but his availability has been low. I hold my breath every time he makes a hard tackle. The Bills spent much of the last off season clearing out older and oft injured players. I haven't looked at his cap hit but should be seriously considered a trade candidate.

Would You Consider Getting Tre if Cut By the Ravens ?
Fan in Chicago replied to T master's topic in The Stadium Wall
Elam is not good enough to even be a depth corner. I will be stunned if he ever played another down for the Bills. Also, no to getting Tre back. He is washed, done, finished and should retire -
Kurt Warner's analysis of the Super Bowl
Fan in Chicago replied to HappyDays's topic in The Stadium Wall
Good share and write-up. I do disagree on the final para though. I think we need two DBs - a safety and a CB. Rapp is too much of a run-hard-into-a-wall-and hurt myself type of player. Dude doesnt have the instincts to make a play without negative self consequences. As for other defensive players, one DE and one LB is needed. -
The Stadium Wall is a great place to come talk about the Bills

This is just a suck-up-to-SDS thread, isnt it? -
I disagree on WR and TE. We need at least one boundary or vertical threat at WR. Someone who can get separation. I would look to add one vet and one Rd 1-2 WR. The fringe players, on the roster now, can go by the wayside. Contractual issues aside, Samuel is one of those marginal players. Depending on who we get, I don't mind Cooper going. Whether it's his availability or inability to mesh with this offense, he has been marginally effective. Not good enough My controversial take is that Kincaid should be dangled for a trade. Imo, he is not a hard nosed player and did not show growth from his rookie year. Agree on everything else for offense

Elam will be offered up for a trade and if they get a pack of gum in exchange, he will be gone

I proposed in another thread that Brady could be elevated to HC . We get an in-house person who is offensive minded, knows Allen and the rest of the organization. He was considered HC material so why not do it ourselves?
-
I didn't want to post yesterday as I was just too depressed like all of you. The unhappiness stems from knowing that Mahomes isn't going anywhere and with this staff, we won't get past him and Reid. As I couldn't sleep well, a thought came to mind. (Apologies if already mentioned in this thread). Would you fire McD and promote Brady to HC? We would have the offensive minded HC some of us want. I agree that it doesn't solve the problem of drafting badly at the top of the drafts. But at least Brady may influence the GM into investing better in receiving talent
