  1. Its about damn time too, that priest was bringing us down. Some sports I can't watch on TV. I don't mind the games -- I don't like the interview after the game. Because the winning players always give credit to God while the losing players blame themselves. Just once I'd like to hear a player say, "Yeah, we were in the game -- until Jesus made me fumble!" -- Jeff Stilson Apparently Jesus had it in for this poor priest.
  2. Conference is gonna be downtown, I'm staying at the Fairmont, but I'll ahve a rental car (heh heh).
  3. I tried it for the first time when Ramius brought some back to Tally, its not bad, not at all.
  4. So I'm going to be in Dallas for the weekend, and need the name of a few things I should see, restaurants to eat at, sports bars to watch the final four in... all that helps. Any of you out there that can suggest some info would really help me out. PS - Let's try to leave Drew out of this.
  5. Yeah... I've cut back to one a day now.
  6. Are you all kidding me? Let me end this argument now... Perhaps the Orange Bowl is a famous sports venue, and it has a lot of history in it, and perhaps UM is a phenomenal football program with loads of #1 picks and Nat'l Chmpionships, but seeing the Hurricanes play in the Orange Bowl is one of the worse places in the world to be. Its one of a few college stadiums that serves alcohol, leading to drunken and annoying UM fans all over the stadium. And yes, I said UM fans, not UM students or alumni, there is a major difference. UF, gotta go see, loud stadium, electric atmosphere. And why does no one mention FSU? Doak Campbell Stadium has become one of the best looking stadiums in the nation, housing one of the best teams, a perrenial challenger for the crown, and the team of the 90's (12 straight top 4 finishes, 2 nat'l championships). Doak
  7. Boy do I love that commercial..... Slow Ride... Take it Eas-say.
  8. Oh, without a doubt.
  9. How about waiting for your draft pick, and seeing them break out?
  10. Your gonna make me think that far back? Oh gee, I wasnt into football the nearly as much I am now. I'll use that to my advantage, watch: Being a casual fan, I dont remember all the names of the players, but the big names stand out. Marino always had great receivers. I dont know if he brought great receivers to play here, or if he made decent receivers great, but Duper, Clayton, Fryar, all were a joy to watch. RB was always a hole, but who didnt know that. The rest on offense was hit or miss. Richmond Webb and Dwight Stepehnson were great! Defense had some stud players in the form of Louis Oliver and John Offerdahl. But overall I think Marino really struggled against Buffalo. His Kyptonite.
  11. The "Monster Thickburger" will cost about $5.49, and has 1,420-calories with 107 grams of fat. Mmmmm ok ok, I know... even before you ask, here's linky goodness
  12. Doesnt hold a candle to Hardee's Monster Burger.
  13. That song rocks! I can listen to that all day! And I did like the movie, but I'm getting tired of seeing Homer's Odyssey remade over and over again. That being said, I did enjoy this one, just wish Hollywood could get some original ideas out.
  14. ...or whole messge boards for that matter, oh, oops. heh heh, yeah, ignore that last comment.
  15. You may have a point.... but perfectly efficient? I dont think so.
  16. Well said.
  17. I'll remember that as I'm ripping into the ham she's going to make for Easter dinner. You can have hotpockets as we eat.
  18. Dude!! Get off Rich Harden already! Your driving me crazy with your hardon for harden.
  19. No, its been crappy for some time now.
  20. No Way. That's the worse stadium, with one of the worse atmospheres in the town. Miami is not a college town, so when the games get going, the feeling is nowhere near what it is say in Tallahassee.
  21. That would make an excellent bumper sticker.
  22. And so what are you doing in here? guilty by association. And as for saying that Kelly Clarkson, or Clay Aiken wont amount to anything, I think they are both doing pretty darned well now. I cant stand Clay, but I'd love to have his bank roll. And Clarkson? She's got a voice and is easy on the eyes, she can sing to me anyday.
  23. He'll be in someone's training camp, that's for sure.
  24. Stevestojan somehow has the ability to make a great avatar of stars of the past that we may have forgotten, and then build tham back up, on TBD anyway. So then I looked at shawnokeefe1's avatar....no. Nice try, but that's simply... well, disturbing. Reason enough to argue for text only internet. Plus, hasn't Hasselhoff already been brought to immortality by stevestojan?
