That one's just weird. What would be your initial reaction if TD was standing outside your window like that? -
I was raised in Miami, a football city. So when it came to watch hockey, I never really got into it aside from the casual fun with the Panthers, but that was crap. That's not a realy hockey team (But the rats in 1996 was GREAT!) So I came around to like the Leafers, sue me. I was watching a playoff game, the Sens had a cheap hit on Tie Domi I believe, and a small hatred grew against the Sens. I think I hate Ottawa more than I love Toronto, but I do love my leafs. Baseball wise, I'm a Mets fan. We had WWOR in Miami, so that's the team that was on TV all the time, so that's who I watched. NBA? Heat, all the way, but this is by far my least fav sport. (Oh, and I'm no bandwagon fan either, I've liked the heat since Zo & Hardaway) And FSU Forever!

Ramius, $5 says Leslie lives past next week.

I didnt think I'd hold your attention for this long. Here's the news story: Glen Wheeler, Jr., who is suspected of trying to kidnap two women, was arrested at 2 p.m. Wednesday afternoon. A tip led deputies to Shell Point Wednesday afternoon where they spotted Wheeler inside a car. He's been on the run since Sunday after two women ID'd him as the man who broke into their homes, attacked them and tried to kidnap them. Wheeler was arrested without incident at the intersection of Old Shell Point and Cornegay Way around 2 p.m. Deputies say they've been looking around the clock for Wheeler, so his arrest isn't just a sigh of relief for the community, but for investigators too. MAJ Maurice Langston of the Wakulla County Sheriff's Office says, "During the time of his arrests, some of the deputies, after he had been handcuffed and placed into a patrol unit, heard people in a nearby restaurant applauding, so there's a deep sigh of relief." Wheeler is facing a number of charges: kidnapping, burglary with assault, battery, attempted kidnapping, attempted burglary and grand theft auto. Additional charges are also coming down from the Wakulla County Courthouse. There was another person inside the car with Wheeler. We are told that man hasn't been charged. However, he is being questioned.

Don't forget that Hurley did a complete census of the survivors, and so he knows who was on the beach from the beginning, so I think Leslie is legit. That line may just have been for comedic effect.

No kidding, they just ended a manhunt in our neck of the woods, and its creepy thinking that someone could be watching you just trying to get into your house, or abduct you. This idiot tried to abduct a woman 3 times, failed each time. Local authorities are on a hunt for a man they say is armed and very dangerous. Law enforcement officials also say he has a lengthy criminal record and was released from prison just this year. The Wakulla County Sheriff's Office is looking for Glenn Wheeler, Jr. of Crawfordville. Authorities say two Wakulla County women have identified Glenn Wheeler as the person who broke into their homes, attacked them and tried to kidnap them. "He then committed several burglaries of others residents there where there was no one home. Evidence there at the scene ties him to these burglaries," said MAJ Bill Poole with the Wakulla County Sheriff's Office. The Wakulla County Sheriff's Office has been searching for Glenn Wheeler since Friday. They say the first woman was attacked Thursday night and the second on Saturday. Wheeler is considered armed and dangerous. "He has made it known that he does not want to go back to prison, so we need people to proceed with caution and contact your local law enforcement, whether it be the Leon County's Sheriff Office or the Wakulla County Sheriff's Office," added MAJ Bill Poole. The third time he called a woman and told her that her brother had been in a serious accident and that a trooper was on the way to pick her up. She got suspicious and called her brother. After being asured that he was safe, she called back the number (from caller ID) that had called her, and got his voice mail. She called police but he never showed up to get her.

Can someone go back and check what the currency is? I'm from Nicaragua and I think I would have remembered that.

Interesting, and this show has been so odd that it wouldnt surprise me. But I really think this is too far fetched, even for LOST. The parallel existence idea is what kills this for me. I like the idea of more survivors on the other side of the island, I'd even venture that they ahve their own beliefs on the island and refuse to go inland, or are afraid of a mountain, or something along those lines.

going without the band (ocopella aparantly) was risky, and he missed a note at the end that none of the judges pointed out, but overall that performance may have won it for him. If he does something similar in the finals (Like Mantasia resang Summertime last year) he has this thing won. -

Spin off: TD take the form of lions in Cambodia and likes to mangle proffesional midget fighting leagues. -
That's low dude, even for you. I never said anything to anyone about that rash, and I sure as hell didnt tell anyone about the warts... you know where. Perhaps its time I mention something that really gets you in trouble, like what NFL team's hat you were wearing yesterday...

And of course, that's TDs fault. -
Gotta go satellite for good radio these days. That gives you the variety you need, country, punk, rap, Folk, it's all there. Classical and opera, R&B and Funk. It's impressive. Not only that, but for road trips, no more channel surfing. I like XM myself.

I'm gonna agree with AD completely on this one.

Pats: 11-5 Look good still, but there are a lot of things going on in NE that begs attention. New coaches need to step up, and replacements need to come up big. Bills: 9-7 Hate to say it, but if all the "ifs" do line up then this is a solid team. JP is the big question. I think he'll struggle and that Bledsoe should have been around for another year, but my opinion is jacksh*t to the upper brass on any team. Fins: 6-10 Improvement, but still need a few draft picks in the future to plug some holes and bring us up. QB is the big question, and I feel some stars will be traded off soon to rebuild young. Jets: 4-12 Simply because I hate them. Coles gets hurt in week 1 and misses the whole season. Pennington quits football to be on the next "Bachelor" and Herm converts to Muslim and moves to Jordan.

Could it be that TD hijacked the plane and tried to trade Henry to Ramius for a #2 Supersized at McD's?
-
So much for creative story telling. sheesh.

Ramius left Tallahasse on Monday May 9th and returns this evening. He's called only once to make sure that I was getting him at the airport. Calls to his phone were not answered or returned. Makes this a very suspicious trip. He claims to be going to Buffalo to visit family, but I very much doubt it. Personally I think he took a vacation to find himself a mail order Bride. I did find Russian currency in his room along with a jar of peanut butter that was licked clean. Any ideas?

There's an outside cat in my neighborhood (which pisses me off tremendously) that wanders free and gets into my things on a regular basis. A few weeks ago I was sitting in the living room watching TV when I saw the cet peeking in the window at me. So I went to the garage, got my Dasiy BB gun, went outside, pumped three times, aimed and fired. Direct hit! It ran off and I found the BB in the spot it was standing. My question is would a rockt propelled Grenade leave a stain that I cant get it, or should I go ahead and splurge?

I hope to god you're not a jail guard. -
Ok, Miami (Latino) Perspective here. If you ever hear George Lopez do stand up, he always makes up the best "white" names when he does imitations. A few of my favs: Sage and Duncan.
