  1. Its not a preconcieved notion I have seen him play all of his games and its the RB in the flat is his most succesful pass. Hes not a deep ball threat and if Josh reed isnt thie to catch the ball for him 5 yards out he wont complete the pass. HE IS NOT THAT GOOD OF A QB. HE takes low risk high reward plays thtas it thats why our running game suffers at time the defense doesnt have to worry about anything greater than 10 yards. GET OVER YOUR MAN LOVE
  2. Since its obivios we are not going to get a big name QB to come in at the back up and we certainly dont want kely holcomb back. I think that david Carr would be the most approriate QB for thebackup position wont cost much and pretty much the same as Trent
  3. While other QBs actually achieve that with a real pass, trents is a fabricted stat based on the rbs ability to gain more yardage.
  4. He will not be out of the NFL he will catch on with another team that wont F him up like he wa here
  5. wade sucked and it was flutie and ted cotrell that got us to the playoffs and it was the QB swapping 8-8 season when he declared us out of it whn we still had a shot he gave up on the team.
  6. Bring in Donavan Mcnabb
  7. I was doing this my self until I just had an ephinany. Tom Couglin had an expansion Team- a lot of good vets from different teams and top 5 draft picks. had an already talented giants team with a good defense and some star players and a top 5 drated QB Bill belechick who stunk it up with the BRowns came to NEWengland to a Probowl QB/TE and a solid defense with star players. Bill Cower took over a Playoff team. Shannahan took over a team with probowlers and hall of famers The only two coaches I can readily think of that came to slightly above average talent or below is Bill parcells and Tony dungy. Even our hall of Fame coach had a bunch of prowbolers and hall of famers on the team. Yes DJ is unbearbale at times and has given us nothing to be excited about on the surface but this guy came to a, excuse me for saying this, piss poor team with minimal to no talent players guys who would be backups on other teams. What does he do with his talent gives them 7-9 records 3 years straight. So how about we give this guy some talent this year and see what he does with it before we call him a complete loser-YES I AM A DJ HATER myself- but the reality is you can only be as good as the team your coaching and our team like it or not is not that good.
  8. Ok on many fronts Ralph has proven to us that he is indeed cheap and he is not willing to spend money on a coach who is not here. Lets say Jauron got a 500k raise thats 2 mil a year for 3 years ralph isnt eating 6 mil. Why do i say that becuase if there was no extenstion his contract expired which means we did not have to retain him. Ralph was so concerned about money when he saw that 4-0 start he said get the contract done before he cost us too much money Then they came to a deal at 5-1 instead of Ralph and Co acknowleding at the high point he was indeed signed to a extenstion he strings us along until we are at our ultimate low. Then say FU I retained him for continuity but changes will be made HUH!!!! So now we will have a OC in his second year, Trent going in his third year (hopefully he can stay healthy) which means what to us now. Their is legitametly only 3 changes on offense they can feasibly make right? New Starting Center, New Pass catching TE, and a possesion Reciever will that make them better I guess we will see but im not getting excited thinking about it. On the defensive side of the ball I can see them given us excitement after all defense wins championships right? Do whatever it takes to get in Haynseworth him and stroud up the middles will make any defensive end better. Besides I seem to recall that DJ stated in this type of defense you need pressur up the middle to make everyone else more effective. We need 2 lbs capable of starting, why becuase one always goes down and I think you should have 2 capable backups anywy. Draft a DE to push Kelsay or schoebel. I think if they make the right moves on defense, get a TRUE center, a Pass catching TE and a Possesion Receiver and a solid blocking FB. DJ might have the tools to succeed. However, If he fails to achieve a 9-7 record min then Ralph needs to eat it and get a real coach. But for now as a True Bills fan I have to stand by this team understand they want continuity and believe that they will get the major players they need via FA and have a solid draft that will bring in the talent neccessary to get them over the 7-9 hump. Lets give the DICK a chance and see if CONTINUTITY works they say it takes 3 years to rebuild so the 4th year must be the make or break year right
  9. Did you ook at next years schedule we will be lucky to go 4-12
  10. Chicsgo atleast got to see a 13-3 season and the playoffs to make up for his other twi dismal seasons
  11. Dungy was 54-42 in his 5 years in Tampa waht do you mean he coudnt win??????
  12. put the down its really effectin you reality
  13. If they are keeping Jauron with one of the better caochin pools you will get come on cowher and shanahan are available and your keeping the... Any way he could have eased the blow by announcing the firing of the OC. Improvements were made...where? the only thing on this team that improves statistically was defense. Frustrations aside what does this front office have to do know what change need to be made under the current head coach in order to be successful with the difficult shcedule we are going to have next year and in a divsion that each team will be manned with some form of a hall of fame coach. Do they fire the OC? Do they retain all of the staff? Do they bring in a big name free agent or two to ease the pain an inject some veteran leadership into this team? I know we are all excited about the draft but out of seven picks a team is usally lucky to get 1 legitimate starter but it also brings 7 inexperienced players to our team increasing our youth. I dont know my solution was getting rid of Jauron but since hes still here so are the issues. But maybe if we take a page from Belicheck in Clevland is 4th year he was 11-5. Maybe we can hope for the same. Seriously what do we do now??????/
  14. I will give that one to you. I was just pointed out what we could have had becuase Royal was the very next pick after Hardy.
  15. Im sorry we needed a tall reciever but one that could catch and was froma good program this Kid would have done wonders for our offense Its not about height people its about hands. Please hes a return specialist easily could have replace parrish!!!! http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/players/profile?playerId=11276
  16. IMHO Lovie Smith Certainly would have been worth the money BUT it seemed like the bills were dead set on a OFFENSIVE MINDED coach. Which is why I have stated many times before we should not have tunnel vision and get the best canditate available. Same with the Hardy pick we were so dead set on getting the TALL receiever we overlooked the next receiver who is on his way to becoming the offensive rookie of the year. It wouldnt have happened if we were looking for the best player available we would have gotten one.
  17. Ralph states we dont have "talented" players. Cincantti does have "talented" players I can quote any word that ralph states and its a quote from ralph!!!
  18. You need to be edumacated ok - Gregg William and Mike Mularkey were hired by... GM Tom Donahoe Dick Jauron was hired by... Director of football operations Marv Levy All three hires done by football guys-so exactly what is your point? Its all a dice roll anyway when it comes to the type of caoching that Ralph is willing to pay for.
  19. But in the owrds of ralph wilson the bengal have more "talent"
  20. Either one is going to cost us 4 mil a year and Ralph refuses to spend more than 1.5 so what do you think our chances are of getting a big name coach?
  21. I said that last year and it wasnt addressed. But if you actually look at the staff half of it was Mularkeys staff and few left over from Greggo the only good one we had went to Pitt
  22. Im not a critic I would just love to see him in Buffalo bring back that winning spirit/Veteran leadership and Teach edwards real tangible things about the position. You see what he does in Philly with only a west brook imagine what he could do with a lynch/Jackson Evans/Reed
  23. Same with Lovie smith over Mike Mularkey
  24. Winning a championship is great dont get me wrong but having consistent chances to play in and win a chmapionship gives us confidence in our teams abilty. The pats arent winning it ever year but they are consistent enough to get their chances to win one every year even in a year their MVP star player went down they were still good enough record wise just not good enough in the tie breakers. It sucked losing 4 championships in a row but boy did he feel good getting there each year!!!!
  25. Your losing the point of all of this. The idea is to win next season not in 2-3 years because YOU dont like the way a certain thing is ran!!! I am a personal believer in the 3-4 and was completely pissed when it was blown up. Because the main problem in this organization is going after guys that dont fit THE PHILIOSPHY of the organnization whcih leads me back to This team has no identity it has no idea what it wants to be. Lets maintian continuity bring in a guy whos not going to blow up the Defense. Bring in a OC that can kick start this offense adn hope the front office and personnel guys pick they right players this year, then we have a chance to be competitve. Just because you let a coach go deos not mean we wait years for it to be fixed
