THE DEFENSIVE LINE HELLO he was probably told to find another job or be fired for the most unproductive part of this team seriously now GOOD RIDDENS!!!!

Our secondary is not fine and dandy by any means. What delusion are you watching???? -
Could Evans ..all things being equal..
Poeticlaw replied to Tcali's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
However, Steve Smith is a reciever and Evans is a 9 mill deep threat only!!!! -
i Would rather see Arizona Win it instead of the same ole wnners it motivates teams, like the bills. hopefully to know you can go in never winning it before and winning it. The past decade has been same ole same ole time for something fresh in the winners column. I dont car who wins it before the bills as long as the win one before they are no longer the bills!!!!!

Frank Reich new QB coach in Indy
Poeticlaw replied to Catholic Guilt's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
He was annoited coaching in waiting just like Wade Phillips was in Bufflao and Bill Belechick was with the Jets. It does happen when contracts are written that way. -
Hey, remember when we were 5-1?
Poeticlaw replied to lets_go_bills's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The reality was they sucked when they were 5-1. It was Just nice to say they were 5-1. It was even nicer to think all they had to do was play .500 ball the remainder of the season and we would be 10-6 and out of the playoffs but it would have been nice to say we were 10-6. Personally I like the way it is the 5-1 scared me because i was afraid they wouldnt improve in the areas they need to improve in. Hopefully they will do just that this off season. WR, C, TE, DE, OLB, MLB mov Poz back to OLB his natural position. -
Hell with al the drafting nonsense get a Veteran QB this team hasnt had a winning record since having a vetran like flutie or bledsoe granted I would hope the play better than bledose did but no Young guys enough with that noise already!!!!!!

Bruce, Andre and Ralph make the HOF cut
Poeticlaw replied to BarkLessWagMore's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Are you Biased- please Chris Carter is going to go before Andre Reed is they both played 16 years Chris carter has 43 more TDS, 701 more yards and 144 more recptions than Reed now who in thier right mind based on the information I jsut provided would give Andre Reed the nod before Chris Carter? Just asking.... -
Let's hope the Bills finish 4-12 or worse in 2009
Poeticlaw replied to firstngoal's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I would never hope our team would go 4-12. I personally dont care about positioning in the draft. I would like to see us proven wrong about the retaining of dick Jauron and Co and that continuity will be the key this upcoming season. However, Given the schedule and though i do not hope for this to happen but 4-12 is very likely given what DJ has shown us thus far -
Make The Better Side Of The Ball
Poeticlaw replied to BuffaloBaumer's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Solid WRs what have you been looking at to determine we have SOLID WRS The only reciver that puts his heat and soul into catching a ball is Josh Reed the only Balls Lee can catch is when he has a two yard advantage in stride over his coverage. Smith looks promising, Hardy looked like a joke parrish isnt worth the money so out of 54 receivers two are capable of catching the balls possibly a third but we need another possesion receiver. -
Make The Better Side Of The Ball
Poeticlaw replied to BuffaloBaumer's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Lets look at it Defense we need: SS, CB, OLB, MLB (polinsky is better suited as an outside) DE, DE, DT The offense needs: C, TE, WR Looks like the offense is closer in personnel than the Defense. -
I live in NE and know plent of PATS fans who love the New stadium more than the old one.

I have read many posts that think that ralph wilson Stadium is old and needs a newer stadium to stay competive in the NFL. I know that some politicions were all looking into the scope of it and what it would take and mainly a commitment by the Bills that they would reamin for s specified time period. My suggestion might not be a fan favorite but why dont we use our relationship with Toronto. Use there facility for the time period it would take to taked down and rebuild the Ralph giving us three things 1. more of a following in Canada. 2. a New stadium 3. a specified time period guarantee that we would still be in Buffalo. It would do one thing for Toronto Either make them realize they dont want an NFL team in Toronto or That they just want the Bills to be their nations favorite-probaly not. I think they should build a retractable dome stadium where they could make money on several types of events while also making the Bills stadium a viable option for a superbowl or probowl because of the ability to close the dome. WHile mainting a weather advantage or noise advantage depending on opponents. It was just a thought process.

Teams that did less with their talent
Poeticlaw replied to billybob's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Cleveland 4-12 - multiple QBS injured Cincinnati 4-11-1 - Carlson Plamer INJURED New Orleans 8-8- No defense to speak of Houston 8-8- This was actually an improvement for a growing team now dont you think? Dallas 9-7- Wade Phillips DREAM KILLER- He is not capable of being a successful head coach and under utilizes his talents all the time. -
Could Center be our Biggest problem??
Poeticlaw replied to Poeticlaw's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
"James Kent Hull (born January 13, 1960 in Pontotoc, Mississippi) is a former American football offensive lineman in the National Football League and United States Football League. He played center for the New Jersey Generals of the USFL and Buffalo Bills of the NFL. A native of Greenwood, Mississippi and a graduate of Mississippi State University, Hull retired from football in January 1997 to settle down in the Mississippi Delta with his wife and two children." Where does it state he was converted?????? "Richer was moved to guard from center by the Buffalo " Where does it say he was converted TO Center he wasnt he was converted TO Guard???? -
Lets see the only unit that has improved between the offense and the defense was the DEFENSE. The gave up less yards and less points. The peice thats lacking in the success of the tampa two is the pass rush of the front four. Get one more stroud type player in the middle with dtroud and watch the defense get even better. Its a swarm defense that doenst rely on the corners its the fron four thats suppose to creat enough pressure to disrupt the pass making it easir on the corners to make the play.

Colts are the Braves of the NFL-
Poeticlaw replied to Willis990's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
How can a team be overated when they get to the playoffs EVERY YEAR!!!! We can only dream of going to one just to be one and done. Besides all their money is in the offense its their defense that needs be fixed. -
I have been saying for years now we need a TRUE center not some Converted G/T. Could be coincedence and I am not stating either one is better than the other the eqully sucked in their own right but we were 5-1 with Melvin Fowler at center and 2-8 with Duke Preston Personally I think they both sucked and its time to pony up for a veteran Center(real center no converted one) or Draft C Alex Mack.
