  1. Im not from WNY but im quite sure he will get reprimanded for his comments but even if you dont like him you have respect the integrity of him not wanted to speak about a team that he doesnt favor. Think about are there other teams in the leaugue you care about discussing I personally dont like to, I will be nice and try to talk freindly to my pats fans but it kills me inside because Buffalo is my team and they are veiwed as such bottom dwellers outside of WNY.
  2. We all know we need to have a 53 man roster too early to figure out who but look at the following hard choices in each of these positions: DE: One has to go Kelsay Denney MAybin is going to be the obvious back up and ellis still has potential Ellis LB: One has to go bBUT if we make a run for Seahawks OLB two will have to go Keith Ellison Nic Harris Pat Thomas Alvin Bowen Havent seen him so it makes it easy for me CB: One has to go Ashton Youboty Reggie Corner Ellis Lankster Cary Harris Pick one Flip a coin or two at this moment its hard to say WR: Two have to go Steve Johnson James Hardy Roscoe Parrish Justin Jenkins P.K. Sam FS: One has to go-For me this will be the toughest but KO looks like the odd man out Jairus Byrd George Wilson John Wendling Ko Simpson Not to mention any undrafted free agents that may be good enough to force someone else off the roster also any move to bolster the OL by trade will also force someone else of the team at that spot.
  3. Illl agree but i put the limit to the end of the 4th round anything. I beleive you can get string contributors in the 4th round but start falling going in to the 5th and later rounds because after that is either depth anyway or potential cuts depending on the needs of the teams. Unfornuately those guys that fall after the 5th never seem to get resurrected because noone has really gotten to see them play unless injuries plaqued a team or the coaches liked what they saw in practice IE Brady who was orignally slotted as a 3rd stringer but proved to be more talented then the second stringer and went on to be more talented then their first stringer so you never do know.
  4. We grade upon the players we get they are grading based on the assumption of our needs, where we picked a player compared to where the player should have been picked, and they aslo seem to give a little extra to the team that got the falling guy as best pick for value example our TE wo was a 2-3 in the 4th.
  5. Trying to understand your math but your second one is a C+ not a B+ thats essentailly using the following to come up with an average A+=100 A=95 A-=90 B+=89 B=85 B-=80 C+=79 C=75 C-=70 D+=69 D=65 D-=60 F=59 EaTwo years ago ('07) 1 (12) - Marshawn Lynch, RB-- B+ 89 2 (34) - Paul Posluszny, LB-- B 85 3 (92) - Trent Edwards, QB-- A- 90 4 (111) - Dwayne Wright, RB-- F 59 6 (184) - John Wendling, S-- C 75 7 (222) - Derek Schouman, TE-- B 85 7 (239) - C.J. Ah You, DE-- F 59 77.42857143 ch individual grade is subjective but the overall grade is a Mathmatical average your average =77

  7. Your not impressed with their abilty to develop the o-line. The same group who took an undrafted TE converted him to a rg then to LT then traded him away for a 1st a 4th and conditonal. Thats pretty impressive to me 3 picks for an undrafted guy.
  8. Levitre was our third used in the second. we dont have our 4th round pick but have the 4th we got from the eagles so essentially the poster is right we havent lost any picks per say becuase we had the extra 4th as ammo. Without the extrAa 4th we would have been down a pick.
  9. We should have resigned him to leaugue minimu he owes us millions of dollars in playing time!!!!!
  10. No one wants to take a shot?
  11. 1. Will Parrish be traded for a draft pick in this years draft? 2. Will Kelsay be traded for a draft pick in this years draft? 3. Will Ko Simpson be traded for a draft pick in this years draft? 4. Will we trade for players of another team before or during the draft? if so Who is likely and for what pick? 5.For the first time this team has 2 first round picks without having to trade up, do you think we willl lose picks by trading up this year? 6. Not by player but by postition what positions do you think will be drafted in each round? 7. Do you think there will be any surprize moves that make you go wow..that was great or WOW what were you thinking? My opinions: 1. yes 4th round 2. No nobody wants him 3. No nobody wants him 4. We will try and trade for an OL and/or DT losing 2-3 picks in the process our 4th rounders 5. I think this team is mentaly weak on draft day and feel they have to get a certain player though they could still be there when they draft or get a comparable player IE JP/Mcargo so yes I think they will be dumb enough to lose more picks to get their player. 6. 1a OL, 1B DL, 2. Traded away to move up in round one 3. TE 4A. CB ( KR/PR type) 4B. Traded 4C (parrish) Traded 5. LB 6. DL 7 OL 7. WOW..What are you doing???? Stay pat or trade down fill the many holes dont trade away the good picks to move up for a player.
  12. yeah haff full would be something like this. 1. Trent is good for half the season! 2. The offensive line will mesh in the second half of the season. 3. We have two recievers capable of putting up 1000 yards a season 4. we have 3 RBS that are all capable of starting Then counter it with 1. Too bad he will be injured in the scond half of the season 2. Only if they could have meshed earlier they would be protecting Trent and not Fitz 3. The only problem is the line wont give the QBS time to find them WIDE OPEN 4. We will need it with the blocking not up to par we are sure to lose atleast one to injury as well as suspension.
  13. Yeah and if I was Trent I would be excited about 3/5ths of my line having no starting experience to protect by brittle butt.
  14. Im sorry it is an elected position which should have terms and salary already attached to it. I have never heard of an elected official stating their contract years or salary have you?
  15. I dont think we have a defense or offensive idenity and havent had one for years!!!!!!!!!!!!
  16. I live in NE- I can attest to the NE fans who have complaind about every facet of their team over the last 21 years. They have had their downs for so long that when they finally had their ups it still did not stop them from complaing about certain players, or coaches (not known as belicheck) ITs part of being a fan you state your likes and dislike about a team. Its not all rosed color galsses and not everyone will share the same view I.E. Johnson/Flutie Losman/Trent or even Jason peters for that matter. The fact is this is a fansite where we have the right to post questions, talk about things we like and things we dont like. Alot of us dont like what the organization has been doing over the last decade that does not diminish our fan loyality to the team and one could question the oes who dont get upset about what the organizations has done. I am never oppsed to change what I am oppsed to its not having a team philosphy, Defense philosphy, offense philosphy and sign and draft players and coaches that fit the philosphy consistently. I also have to disagree on the OL addition by subtraction doesnt always work when you are grooming a Young QB, look at the OL we have had over the last 10 years none were that good and we constantly plugged in draftees and second tier players to fill the hole. Sorry but history dictates that I shouldnt be expecting any improvement over the previos years. I can hope for one but i shouldnt expect one. Considering the line his the heart and soul of the offense that is another can of worms I am not looking forward to watching but do hope its better than the disaster I am anticpating on watching. For those with short term memories their were a few years when we were rebuilding the line like now where we had to keep 5 OLthe FB RB and TE back to block so we had a shot at TWO RECIVERS sometimes 3 but rarely its was the worse offense showing ever. I dont want to see that again especially with the talent at WR and RB this season. I cannot control what this team does but I certainly have the right to express my displeasure as well as getting other insights on the team that vary from my own. I am a "BUFFALO" Bills Fan and will be until the day that they are not part of BUFFALO. I can live with the ups and downs of the team as I cannot control them. Though it is pretty tiresome knowing that everyone who is not a Bills fan knows that our team does not do what it takes to build a winning team. If this team is ever going to be succesful I actually beleive its the scouting dept that needs to be upgraded. If we are builidng our team through the draft which is waht it seems we have been trying to do. You would think we would have a btter gauge on the talent thats in the draft not just 1-3 rounds but the crucial 4-7 where you try to find diamonds in the rough like brady.
  17. I have been a fan for 21 years and to hold your optimism or to boldy tell people like myself to find another team because I dont like what mine is doing is wrong. The Bills organization at this moment is baffeling. Talking about adding more games in Toronto- first I am an american not candian and second I am a bills fan not a hybrid fan I dont like sharing games in another contry in a neutral site tha gives us no advantage. Then you get rid of your center/LG and star left tackle after building back up fan hope with the sigining of TO well who the hell is going to protect our injury prone QB rookies are you kidding me I am suppose to remain optimistic over that. Now I am reading that dominc rhodes was told he was mstlikely going to be the starter during lynches suspension. What the hell is the franchise looking at? I would rather have Jackson starting over him which leads to the next question is jackson the next to be traded becuase we dont want to pay him what hes worth. Now ontop of that we are trading away our top return man in the leaugue. Not that I am opposed to trading him but for a 5-6 round pick thats a freakin joke. Kelsay needs to be traded never thought he should have been resigned in the first place. Keeping DJ after going 0-6 in the division and not improving his team the last two months is another joke. Realistically this team has, barring any decent trades and based on the current schedule current roster and ROOKIES comng on our team, the abilty to be worse than the last three years!!! So just as you have a right to express your thoughts we have the right to express yours some will agree and some will disagree. The fact is this team that has complained about the lack of talent has done nothing outside of the TO to improve that talent except by stock piling draft picks whcih they have not been good at drafting the last decade as well as trading away their most talented players. But I have come to the conclusion I have no expectaions for the upcoming season I still watch every game hoping this team can prove me wrong and then hop the next off season is different, The fact is until Ralph is gone this team in his twilight is never going to improve to be a top 12 team in this leaugue. I except it I dont understand but i except it. The only way my loyality fails this team is when the fail me by putting more games in another county that is not my own!!!!!!!!!!
  18. I coudlnt agree with you more. Was just having the exact converstion with a fellow Bills fan that if he wanted to get paid as a dominant LT he would have stayed in shape and came out and dominated putting an exclamation on his demand for more money. Yes he was voted to the Prow bowl this year but all the experts felt there was at least 4 guys better than him LAST SEASON. My fear was that we would pay his amount then watch a MIKE WILLIAMS fiasco develope. This way we get three players over the next two years for him and hopefully some quailty ones at that. But for me we are getting 3 picks for an undrafted FA we are still on the winning side of this despite what others might think!
  19. Exactly the mediphore I was thinking!!!!
  20. Considering he was undrafted we got 3 picks including a first!!! Hello!!!
  21. Since Toronto did a Survey Id like to get one as well. How many fans really want to See Buffalo, NY LOSE more games to TORONTO's DOME/home/away Stadium????? I for on am DEADSET against it. IT would be the wrong move for us and the right Move for Toronto as they would be inching closer to ownership of the team and the termination of my team loyality!!
  22. Are you serious with your statement "If playing more games in Toronto keeps the Bills in WNY then I am for it" You do understand that each game we lose is another game not PLAYED in WNY. NOt Played in RALPH WILSON STADIUM, NOT PLAYED WITH HOMEFIELD ADVANTAGE and is one step closer to being out of WNY. We will be known as the HYBRID team TORONTO/Buffalo Bills Fans. Im sorry but this pisses me off If we lose any more regular season games to Toronto I am done becuase I am not a Canadian I am an American who loves to watch our blue collar AMERICAN team the Buffalo Bills play in the elemnts of ORCHARD PARK, NY not in a dome statium in CANADA!!!!!!!!!
  23. Maybe its just me but his agents comment came off like an a$$. Calling out the orginaztion when hes not the biggest priority since hes an RFA they can negotiate with him at a later date once they wrap up everything.
  24. Detroit never has hope and they watch! Hope is a great thing when you believe it could happen. However the reality on the current roster we have now is it doesnt look good for us at all. Look at the schedule and how it falls and look at how our team as performed in similar positions, not on what you hope but what could truly be expected. 7-9 is the reality the hope is 10-6 or better and that Trent turns into a QB, Nobody can stop the two head mosnter of Lynch/Jackson becuase the newly formed offensive line opens holes and gives plenty of time for Trent to Find Evans/TO for their combined 2000 yards receiving and the defensive creates enough pressure to turn over the ball and the secondary is good enough to shut down any team in the NFL- NOW THATS HOPE- and the reason we watch. NOT To see a great game but to see if our players/coaches finally improve!!!!
