  1. Thanks, I appreciate that. Because I care so heartily, I just went back on DVR and watched it over to see how I might've misinterpreted Golic and Schlereth. Here's Sclereth's exact comment: <smirking> "Here's what I find interesting. You've excused him from Wednesday practice...and Thursday practice...<sarcastic tone> but you're not gonna say that you're not gonna play him. <raised voice> That's when you get your reps!! That's when you work on what you're gonna do!! <Golic laughing> My bad. Now I see the utmost respect and sincerity that they paid MM there. You were right.
  2. I see what you mean now. So, as previously stated I suppose it's certainly possilble that both parties stretched the truth. Either way it's a mess.
  3. Yeah, that Vikings game was good times. That whole season pretty much stunk. First time since '87 without the playoffs...first time since '90 without the SB...those brutal "throwbacks" against Houston...capped off of course by that home finale to the Pats. It's funny, I remember the media was so enamored with them, saying how they are the up and coming team, led by their young QB (Bledsoe) and they will replace Buffalo as the AFC power.
  4. I'm not trying to be a jerk, but I honestly don't understand much of that. I don't know who I believe or who I "love" but I do know this. 1.) MM told the media that EM asked to be taken out. 2.) EM told the media that MM took him out. 3.) There was a report that EM was benched for not running routes. So EM is saying that he was taken out, combined with a report that he was benched for not running routes. Meanwhile, MM said that EM asked to be taken out. Someone lied and his name rhymes with "Falarkey".
  5. Ugh, don't remind me. That was a sad day.
  6. How could I ever have forgotten the great Bucky Brooks??
  7. Three simple words: TOM MUST GO. TOM MUST GO. I'd like to thank the 1992 Giants fans for that inspiration (Ray Must Go, Ray Must Go).
  8. Sadly, that was the opinion of most of the national media at that time.
  9. Here's the thing that I don't like about all of this. After the Miami game, Mularkey said Moulds took himself out of the game while Moulds said he was taken out of the game and at that point hadn't been told why. Then it was reported that Moulds was benched for not running his routes. If the latter is true, that would make Mularkey a liar. Here's another thing. I think some of the fans are more on EM's side in all of this because he is that last link (albiet brief) to the Levy, Kelly, Thurman days. He's arguably the second greatest WR in Bills history (he definitely is statistically speaking) and he's been here for many years and had never, ever, ever caused a disturbance like this with Levy, Phillips or Williams.
  10. I just saw the clip of Mularkey refusing to answer any questions about Moulds on ESPN's NFL Live. He looked like an absolute idiot. As I type this, Golic and Schlereth are making fun of him. Oh dear God, this is our team.
  11. I listened for quite a while yesterday and to be fair, that's not really what they did. They essentially said to their listeners, "Donahoe called you guys jerks. Respond". And from 3:00pm-10:00pm it was wall-to-wall callers ranting and raving about the President and GM of this team.
  12. How is someone asking TD "when are you going to resign?" any different then the questions that appear on "Ask Him Yourself" on the team's website or the banter that goes on here?
  13. Yeah dude, you're right on with this one. You and bbb can hold a minor protest outside the WGR studios while the rest of us give a damn about the CEO of this football team referring to a large portion of his team's following as "jerks".
  14. I'd say you're in the minority tonight.
  15. How is that different from ESPN.com's "Rumor Central"??
  16. "Whoever we hear compaining about the team the LEAST gets a free seat cushion!!"
  17. Brad is a violent soul.
  18. I don't see Mike Mularkey standing behind the Sabres' bench tonight so hopefully they'll be okay.
  19. The reason that Clements gave is that there was some mixup about which side he was supposed to be on, and realized he was on the wrong side of the field too late. This was the question that led to his blowup at the media today, because he thought the reporter was implying that he was "scared" to cover Chambers. This totally pissed him off and he stormed away. Sorry I can't be more clear, but I'm sure they'll be replaying it on WGR all day tomorrow.
  20. Load of mularkey.
  21. You're right. We should all be more positive.
  22. Nowww, I get it. I was reading it wrong earlier. Sorry
  23. Well then. Who in the Bills orginazation would be to blame for not using the cap to your liking?
  24. Checked their defense lately? GAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH, IT NEVER ENDS!!!!!!!!!!!! Bill Polian AJ Smith Bill Cowher Rusty Jones are just a few examples of people connected to this organization either directly or indirectly and are doing just fine today.
  25. Exactly. How about not giving the same tired vanilla answer AFTER EVERY LOSS??
